about magic/worlds etc.

1st volume and I know I announced that I won't have any magic... well I guess I can't avoid it, some of my friends wanted magic and I gave them magic, although now it all seems complicated so I'll put more information here

Mana =/ Ether

Ether = Mana

(note I keep rereading this part because even I'm getting confused, where's my god damn novel... just change magic into mana, that was what I was meant to say)

>> think of it like venom and poison, Ether is something that is used pretty much in any dimension (venom), this was also in my old novel but I can't seem to find it, Mana is something used in one dimension and only in that dimension (poison), for example, a wooden sword with high compatibility with magic, this just means that it can suck up ether hence high "compatibility", but in a much better case, it's like a multipurpose tool as to let's say corrupted powers, while magic is only used in its homeworld, like a battery but can't be charged since it's in a foreign area.

wait... even I'm getting confused...

Corrupted is Magic/ether, they're practically the same in case of corrupted abilities, like a battery that you need to charge annually to use it

Magic *Laplace* has great mana reservoir, fire, water, earth and so on, but what if you transfer to a different dimension? where a world with no mana shows? then you can't use magic.

Ritual&magic

>>Ritual creates multidimensional spells while magic uses elements, magic elements such as fire, water and so on are basics while Rituals creates spells that can summon, bring life or death, and cast magic. now some might say that magic is secondary if rituals can cast magic, well the part about rituals is that Rituals needs to be cast with words while Magic just needs your Mana/Ether

Dimensions/worlds/timeline

>> there are multiple kinds of dimensions, while yes I know that this makes things ever so complicated, then trust me it is, this here is a somewhat new concept to me, Nick was my recent OC and this anomaly shit is, well somewhat (also), new. worlds are different worlds dimensions are different interpretation of said world and timeline is the timeline of said world and dimension, see my gist?

in visual terms, it's this

dimension

dimension<timeline |

World< timeline | dimension

dimension<timeline |

dimension

(updated by a friend)

and so on and so forth...

in a world, there's one timeline consistent, while inside the world is another dimension with a different concept but the same setting with a different timeline, trust me even my friends didn't understand this.

Ether usage

>> this has been rewritten by Kian

Ether is something more like water than Magic, there's a bottle in all different kinds of people but it varies in size, it can also be filled but it can't be filled with foreign elements like Mana, hence why there's a difference in Mana and Ether. Ether can be reproduced via spiritualizing while Mana exhausts the person using it. there's a couple of skills that uses both Mana and Ether but from research, it's pretty rare (as of what the author has said). while some skills that are seemingly OP like death spells and so, those are considered spells from a different world, it uses both mana and Ether, main reason why Nick had to rest for a couple of months or so (but I highly doubt that he really went all out with the other anomaly)

I'll update this once in a while
