FIRST BORN

It's almost night when they reached the Village. Selena went back to the infirmary to look for her rascal brothers. She looked at all the patients one by one until she reach the almost corner part of the place. She saw the four laying besides each other. Their bruises are turning violate and so their lips and nails. Her tears flow like rain. She covered her mouth and sob.

Mark opened his eyes slightly. He was surprised to see the person he wants to see before he die. "Strawberry girl!". He said with a voice that is almost whispering.

Selena's sob becomes a cry. It caught a lot of attention but she doesn't care. "How dare you hide things from me!... After you got better see how I deal with the four of you later". Her voice crack and she can't almost finished every word.

"Please don't cry much weren't dying yet". Sam tried his best to sound annoyed.

"And who said you are going to die... I won't let you die you still owe me an explanation!". Selena made her voice sounds very angry.

"Strawberry girl is annoyingly noisy!". Kevin talked with bis hoarse voice.

"Yeah, were trying to sleep here!". Clint followed.

Selena cried again. She can see how hard they are fighting the pain. They don't want her to get worried but she already is.

TEMPORARY LAB .

"How many wolves did put on guard in Erin's store?".

"Four in the morning and four in the evening".

"Make sure none of the rogues find out about her and always keep her safe...I promised Selena we will keep her safe". Luke is watching how the lab doctors process the herbs Erin gave to Selena.

"We really should keep her safe. She's going to be a good ally someday". Drew said. If she really is an alchemist just like the ones described in the Book of Life then she will be a very valuable person to their pack. "How's Selena?".

"She wants to stay at the infirmary. Her four rascal brothers are in there".

"Rascal brothers?". Drew was confused.

"I'm not sure if I really heard her thoughts when she was crying. She keeps on saying her four rascal little brothers. And as far as I know those rascals are her only friends in the Academy". Luke explained to him.

"I think you're having a connection now though it's very slow it's much better than none". Drew felt a bit relieved. He really like Selena to be their Luna. They only need two more days and everything will be settled.

The lab doctors finished making the medicine and they show it to Luke.

"We need to test it as soon as possible". Luke said.

"But to whom?". Drew asked.

Cries are filling the whole infirmary. The longer the poison stays in their body the great pain it gives. Selena don't know what to do. Their cries are hurting her ears. But she don't want to leave her friends.

'Luke hurry!'. She prayed for the medicine to be finish in time.

A group of doctors came along with Luke and Drew.

"Selena!". Luke called for her.

"Did you succeed?". She was referring to the medicinal herbs.

"Yes, but were not sure if it will work plus we need a test subject". Luke whispered to her.

"Give it to me!".

Luke handed her the bottle. Selena opened it and took a sniff. She remembered the scent of the oil from the rogues. It's similar. She went back to Mark. Luke and the others followed.

"Mark!". Selena tried to wake him up. She wait until he opens his eyes. "Do you trust me?".

"You are our Luna". He said with a very low voice.

Selena bit her lips. She will not argue with him for now. "And I will save you!". She showed him the bottle and Mark opened his mouth.

Selena prayed before she gave him the medicinal poison. One vile as prescribed by her mother. Everyone waited after several minutes then Mark went to a convulsion. His body trembled and shakes severely and his temperature rise very high. Selena tried to stop his tremendous movement. Luke and the others help him. All of his vein almost popping out until liquid burst out from his wound. A very foul smell came out. Then Mark stop moving. His breathing became stable and all his veins calmed down. His wounds is slowly healing.

"It works!.... Luke he's safe!". Selena cried.

"Yes it works... Thanks to Erin!". Luke is very grateful to Selena's mother. And he's very proud of his Mate too.

Luke ordered to make more of the medicine and they call it, Anti-V. The formula became a secret and also became one of the most valuable medicine of their Shadow Claw Pack. They administered it to all the wounded from the battle. It took them two days and two nights without a rest. Time is crucial. They need to treat everyone fast. Selena and Luke are not resting they want to make sure everyone is cured. On the fourth day where the moon will shine after the sun. They've finished curing all the patients.

Selena lost all of her energy and also lost her consciousness at the same time.

"Selena!".

A soft voice is calling her name. She opened her eyes slowly and saw herself laying in a white snow. She was amazed by the sparkling icicles and soft but warm snowflakes.

"Selena!".

Her attention was caught by the gentle voice.

"Who are you?..... And where are you?". She looked to all sides but sees no one.

"Selena I'm here!".

A mountain suddenly appears in front of her. She look at the top and saw a majestic big white wolf. Her eyes are pair of gold and her fur is like pure white silk. There's a powerful aura emitting from her.

"Who are you?". She asked her out of curiosity.

"They call me, the first born!". She answered her back.

"What?.... I don't understand. I want to know your name".

"You will know someday.... I am still weak and I will need more time. Please be patient and wait for me".

"But!".

Selena didn't finish her words. The wolf disappeared.

"WAIT!".
