Royalty Pack

In the northeastern portion of Royalty Pack, a disguised Max came out taking the air out through the southeastern Veil of Realms of the Left Shoulder, in the Land of Traders, with an old cart of apples in his possession. He realized forthwith, from the gravels he matched on, the difference between this land and the one from which he came.

Secondly, the sun was blurry.

Even if the young millionaire happened to be the richest man ever, he intentionally looked like an absolutely-poorly tattered chap in a way that no high school girl around the earth he just left would admire him — not literally though, he was still rich...

The dress he wore smelt artificially stale and on his face were black spots of dirt almost like that of real slaves. Many traders behind him walked out of the Veil of Realms in a similar but natural appearance to his own. More, more, and more of them walked in a consecutive line in front of him heading to a market called Monday Market.

'Cool... So it is real after all... Penelope was right, huh. This world and many other worlds really exist only to those who know about them.' Max thought with only a slight sign of excitement showing on his face. 'How ridiculous, Maxy, how would Earth react to knowing this silly fact...' He frowned.

Coming out of his minutes-trance of shock, Max instinctively knew that this place was far bigger than it seemed to appear. In looking at the clouded sky that was tainted sunless, using his Gift of Spider Vision all of a sudden came into his mind so as to know how truly big the Land of Traders was. The pull of his curiosity overweight his promise for Penelope to not use the Gift. With a smirk, he activated the vision, his eyes being closed, his mind being focused.

He could see it all in the form of colorless vibrations: The bent pentagonal shape of the Monday Market; the congested settlement of merchants encircling it; the powerful river flowing by his left side that was dividing two mighty landscapes.

And, from a distant location, two mighty far away aligned mountains on each of the divided landscapes, soaring high, and high, and incredibly high to ensure kissing the cloudy sky.

Unable to keep the vision for any longer, Max opened his eyes, the mighty cart of apples still in his push. His head felt heavy but nevertheless, 'This place is amazingly huge!' he thought in disbelief, believing that using the Gift was worth it despite the warnings and breaking the promise.

Most of the people around Max continued chatting as they walked, showing that they mostly knew each other. Inwardly, he thought of checking the magically digital map Penelope gave him as the most vital of equipment he needed the most so as to see if he could now spot that red dot. But then, that could be a reckless move for which he busied his mind with a lot of "why?" and "how?" questions:

'Why hasn't Lucas intruded my mind for the past week?'

.

.

'Why can't I smell a Vampire in this place? Or are they all Vampire Slaves?'

.

.

'Should the red dot on the map Penelope gave me really indicate where Evelyn is? If not..? Forget it if not, it is where Evelyn should be.'

.

.

'How safe is Evelyn even doing for goddamn's sake?!?'

.

.

'The plan is as simple as knowing where Evelyn is using the map, having her with me as efficiently as I can do, and going back home as soon as possible.' He concluded his series of thoughts in order to avoid being pessimistic.

Max carried on to push his creaking apples cart through the graveled land without saying a word — talking to strangers was always not his first option. Needless to say, the sun got its direction down the west without the journey exhibiting any signs of ending. Too archaic for his liking.

'Why am I so obedient? Can't I really use Spider Vision anymore? Just once...' The Vampire chap made a moody face with that thought as he carried on walking and pushing forward.

After an hour or so, Max naturally pulled himself out of his thoughts' enamour. Finally the journey to the market was coming to an end. Through the established twilight, his heightened Vampire eyes could see minor shapes of varied color lights right at the distance.

Apart from that, he saw an outstanding animal of the size of a small elephant that caught his attention by the far right. The beast had two horns on its head, trunks between its mouth and the gab between its eyes, and some mini spikes on its spine. Concludingly, Max could say it combined the strong appearance of a bull and the intelligence of a dog from the way it wiggled its tail continuously.

Noticing the traders moving from the distance, it energetically moved far away from them on all fours. Its speed was average, not so fast and not slow.

'What a cool beast.'

And as the sun came to rest wholly for the night to settle, and the distance between the traders and the market was extended-in-more, the bright lights, which were mostly white, blue, and white, turned very noticeable for Max to distinguish.

'Hmm. At long last.' delightfully he thought with no energy.

And more things made their presence to become prominent to his sense:

The sense of trading taking place.

The sense of security.

The smiles.

The welcoming faces.

The slightly, friendly, darkly lit air.

The noise of trading traders.

And so many so so many more.

All of a sudden, he stopped walking as did everyone there.

Someone giant and sturdy in appearance stood at the front of all the arriving traders, his hands folding behind him. "ATTEEEEENTION esteemed traders! I stand here as a Defence Force officer of the Pack Forces!" He paused, allowing his mighty voice to ensue all the traders into attentive silence.

'Wow, quite effective.'

"Sorry for stopping you all for the sake of Royalty Pack's security! You should all take note, being a Werewolf, Vampire, Dragon Descendent or whatever, don't you dare resist as we search through your belongings!" His frown never flickered after he briefed them and started doing his job.
