Chapter 4

Haruto pulled up the brake and sighed heavily while rubbing his own face. He turn to his side where Junkyu already fall asleep for drinking too much.

This kid get addicted with alcohol with one try

He shook his head and try to wake up the younger "hye... Junkyu ya... we're here" he softly spoke. With a frowned, Junkyu look up at the "what happened ? where are we ? i need one more glass..." he mumbled. Haruto once again shook his head and get out from the car before he try to lift up the younger like a bridal style. It's really quiet in the basement parking so, no one will witness them.

The next morning, Haruto just glance at the younger who just playing with his mushroom soup. "you want blood ?" asked Haruto with his eyes remain fix at his tablet reading some news in early morning. Junkyu sighed then sip his coffee. "I don't know how to face Jihoon later" he whined and squirm like a child.

"erase his memory. erase everything had happened between you two yesterday" suggest Haruto then dig his soup after finished reading all the news this morning. Junkyu look at him with so much though inside his mind "I would love to do that but, he's my best friend. I shouldn't do something like that toward him. I should... fix it fairly instead.." his voice slow at the end.

The older take a glance at him "just talk with him then" Haruto shrugged while Junkyu already pursed his lips in disbelief. "you're not helping at all"

"I just told you to erase his memory thought" Once again Haruto shrugged.

At the corridor, they awkwardly look at each other. "what are you doing ? say something. our class will starting soon" Jihoon annoyingly said while fold his arm on his chest. "the thing is... can we talk at another place ? Junkyu suggest.

Before Jihoon could agree, Jaehyuk appear out of nowhere while wrap his arm around Jihoon's shoulder. "what are you guys talking about ? " he asked then change his gaze at Junkyu with a smirk "hye Junkyu... sadly you can't join us hanging out last night" 

Jihoon quickly avoid Junkyu's eyes in guilty. "will you join us later ? we plan to play ice skating tonight"

Ice skating in the middle of summer huh ? what a joke.

Junkyu force a smile "I have something to do later... Sorry" Jaehyuk pout his lips in dissapointed voice, "I badly want to be friend with you Junkyu why you looks like you avoiding me ? or... are you perhap hiding something ?" he smirk.

Jaehyuk step closer, lessen their gap "you... you're not normal human right ?" he whispered with a very meaningful smiles. Heart beating so fast, a cold sweat on Junkyu's temple and uneasy feeling sipped his stomach. He gulped hard trying to look for a great response.

"You must be fallen angel ! why are you so pretty and handsome at the same time ?? I envy you... I want an attractive friend like you" Jaehyuk speak while try to reach Junkyu's cheek but Junkyu quickly avoid the contact by giving an awkward laugh "Guess, we should hang out another time. I really can't today" Junkyu excuse try to calm his heart.

"Oh really ? then, how about this weekend ?" suggest Jaehyuk excitedly just like a little kid who just got a lollipop. Junkyu nod and glance at Jihoon who remain quiet watching their interaction.

At class, Junkyu and Jihoon still didn't talk to each other. They just like an awkward stranger which hurting both of them even more. None of them speak a word toward each other. Haruto who silently watching them slightly shook his head and continue on teaching his students.

Even though some of the students are sleeping, daydreaming, eating and talking behind him, he still keep on teaching and didn't have energy to scold them. "okay, that's all for class today. prepare for next week presentation" Haruto speak while looking down at his wrist clock.

"Kim Junkyu..." Haruto called making all the attention toward the owner's name. Junkyu awkwardly smiles at his classmates before he reply "yes, sir ?"

"see me after class" Haruto informed and Jihoon turn to look at his best friend with so much question inside his head. Yesterday, he accidentally saw their professor and Junkyu together inside the class but he didn't hear what are they talking about.

Maybe Junkyu asking about the project. He thought positively and pack his things to have a lunch alone or Jaehyuk will accompany him ? He also no idea.

At their private room, Junkyu take a peek at Haruto and Lisa who was talking seriously about something that he couldn't hear at all. Their voice are so small and very careful. "hye Junkyu... want some tea ? or you want blood ?" asked Yeonjun snapped back his thought.

"Our blood stock is almost finish so let just have tea. Our Doyoungie haven't deliver our bloods yet" Yoon interfere walking toward them while holding a tray of a few cup along with Chinese hot tea inside the teapot.

"anything is okay for me" Junkyu flash an assuring smiles and sip his hot tea that Yoon just pour for him.

At the other side, "are you not going to tell him ?" Lisa with a serious face folding her arm on her chest. "Maybe I should." Haruto rub his palm on his face and sigh. Lisa patted his shoulder "Great. You should tell him before he lose his control over his power. I couldn't believe you hide if from him" Lisa place her palm on her forehead.

"I also clueless not until you said it to me. It's not like I'm on purpose hiding it from him" Haruto defense which it was true. Lisa sighed "Be careful... he's stronger than us and his power might double if he drink our blood. He's not an ordinary human nor ordinary vampire, he's just like a devil monster"

"I got it. You don't have to worry. He's under my control now." Haruto assured the woman with his hands attached to each other. Lisa pursed his lips and nod "well, you end up fall in love anyway" she mumbled before she bring a cup of tea to her mouth.

"anyway, always look at him, protect him even though he much more stronger than us and take care of him. Don't ever let others beside us to see his true form or else his life might be in danger or our world will destroy" Lisa firmly said.

Haruto nod with so much though inside his mind. He turn to look at Junkyu who laughing together with Yeonjun, Yoon and Yoshi. The laugh remind him of his first love, Choi Yihyun.

A human girl he killed unconsciously 100 years ago. He really didn't mean to sucked her blood till she dry, but he was got carried away by the smell of sweet metal scent of the girl's blood. Since that day, he refused to fall in love with a human or any creature. He scared if he make another mistake and hurting them again. Fall in love with a human is one of the biggest regret in his life.

Back from Uni, Junkyu getting more sensitive over sound. He feels like his hearing are very clear. He can even hear a conversation between a humans from 100 meter away very clear. It's not a good think he thought as he feel his head is dizzy by the sounds. Not only hearing human talking, but also random sound such like a dog barking, crying kitten, a whistle, a vehicle, a blood rushing inside human body, someone's heartbeat and so on.

Without him realizing, he was gripping hard on a random thing he grabbed almost crashing it into a tiny dust. A pant, popping vein and eye color change but gladly, Haruto comes in time and give him a hug while covering his eyes with his palm in the middle of street.

"why you go back without telling me ?" Haruto asked in the most worried voice. He's scared to death as he couldn't find Junkyu at the Uni just now.

"what is happening ?" Junkyu mumbled in confusion. Everything went back to normal as his hearing are no longer sensitive and his tense body are slowly relax. The sudden blushed creep on Junkyu's cheek when he found out he was inside Haruto's embrace.

Haruto took a deep breath and broke their hugged to see the younger red face. Junkyu blinked for a couple of time and quickly pushed the older away "what are you doing hugging me out of nowhere ? are you insane ?? what if your students saw us ??" the younger blabbering hiding his embarrassement.

"it's so dangerous to let you walk alone without me eyeing on you" Haruto sighed followed by Junkyu. He was real annoyed. "I know I'm in danger. I know so well but saying that you have to watch over me make me feels like a little kid" Junkyu fold his arm on his chest in offended.

"Let's talk" Haruto drag him to come inside his car ignoring the younger already protest "I will shout if you keep dragging me like this" Junkyu threat to the older who obviously unbothered. "are you challenging me ? " Junkyu scoff when he saw Haruto didn't even care his threat. He feels very offended.

I can walk though. Why he dragging me like this ??

"Stop talking or I will bite your lips here" Haruto threat this time and the younger immediately pressed his lips.

Silent. Not awkward. Just them minding their own business inside Haruto's car accompanied by a sound from radio, listening the news about what had happened today. Junkyu immediately gaze at the radio when radio host start to mention about another victim murdered by vampire. Not only one victim today but three at the same time.

Haruto sighed heavily thinking everything are getting more messed and bad. He press the metal firmly passing every car with so much anger inside him while Junkyu silent watching the older dealing with his own irritation. The younger start to wonder who keep killing human.

I don't think it's one of them but who ??? Junkyu thought when he carefully try to guess from Haruto, Yeonjun, Yoshi, Yoon and Lisa. He also know about the blood that he had from them was from hospital. He trust them. Then, who else would be ???

At Haruto's private apartment, like usual Junkyu will end up here with the vampire male. It's not that he complaining since everything inside here was very pleasant to watch and he can use everything inside here without him getting scold by Haruto unless if he sneak inside Haruto's bedroom. He curious, but he respect the older privacy.

"Junkyu ya..." Haruto spoke after they been silent for a half an hour inside the living room with Junkyu still watching a drama from Haruto's tablet. The younger hum as a reply then paused his drama so he can fully give an attention toward the older who seem in a bad mood after the news.

"You don't like if I eyeing on you 24/7 ?"

Junkyu fold his arm on his chest then nod as a reply "It's not like I can't protect myself. " Junkyu scoff. Haruto curve his lips "That's not the problem"

The younger turn to look at Haruto who looks very serious. His mad face got Junkyu scared so he cleared his throat "then what ?" he almost stuttering, avoiding Haruto's cool gaze.

"Aren't you realize you almost going berserk at the street just now ? " Haruto voice become very serious this time. Junkyu confused and he slowly shook his head as a reply. The older sighed "look. you don't even know you're losing control over your own power. You almost turning into a monster"

"me ? losing control ? monster ?" Junkyu couldn't understand what just happened to him before at the street. He try to remember but he got a headache instead. He close his eyes looking for a piece of memory that he lose and Junkyu slowly open his eyes. "My.. my hearing just now.... everything... "

"Exactly. Your power are not just inherited from vampire. To be honest, you're just like a monster." Haruto paused "hence, you have to be careful since you couldn't control your power yet just like before. If I'm not there I wonder how many victim because of you today..." Haruto continue.

"Which you mean that.. I am more stronger than you ?" guess Junkyu biting his bottom lips. "you can feel it yourself. because you just drink a human blood these past few days, that's make you becoming more aware about your own power. Don't lie to me, you already know it right ??" Haruto firmly asked.

Junkyu smile slyly "You caught me" he laugh  " Yes, I know that. I realized the night after I drink my first wine the same night where I got my first human blood. You try to put me in sleep with your power but actually it didn't effect me. Day by day, I learn a new thing about myself. The night at the bar, I was not really drunk. I'm just missing my father. I heard your conversation between you with Yoshi too about someone's name Yihyun ? if I'm not mistaken. Who is she ? your ex lover ?" he explained while wiggling his eye brows.

Haruto scoff in disbelief. This kid in front of him indeed a devil monster.

Finish taking a bath, Junkyu wear a shirt and sweatpants from the closet inside the guest room. Like usual, he will sleep at Haruto's apartment. He sit down on his mattress and start smirking.

I still have a long way to go. Since I already know about my hidden ability, everything is going just like what I planned.

Junkyu bite his inner cheek in irritated when he recalled back the night where Werewolves killed his father. He swear, he will make the creature vanish by him soon.  He look at the random book from the medium size shelf, and just by staring at the book intensely, the books fall on the floor. He smiles in amusement. He close his eyes try to focus on his hearing but he can't. He click his tongue in frustrated.

Biting his nail while thinking hard, he flinched when someone knocked his door. "are you asleep ?" a deep voice asked from outside. "No I haven't" Junkyu replied before he open the door for the older. The younger raised his brow.

"Just wanna ask if you're fine or not" Haruto fold his arm on his chest with a little smug on his face, trying to act cool when he obviously look worried toward the younger. "Don't worry I won't change into a monster" Junkyu purse his lips with a slight shrugged.

"Oh well then, goodnight" Haruto leaving just like that after giving a goodnight greet to the younger. "um goodnight too ahjushi" Junkyu teased with a biggest grin on his face.

Junkyu was surprised when Haruto reveal his age just now after he reveal everything that he knew. The vampire male was 198 years old which he hard to digest before. That's crazy. The older already live for almost two century.

He then turned off the light and lay down on the mattress ready to sleep. He blinked for a couple of time and finally he fall asleep.

While inside Haruto's room, the older looking back at his laptop and a piece of paper on his hand. He bite his bottom lips and change his gaze toward the laptop. Appearance of blue moon might be on the last November or early December which it have 4 more months left. For Junkyu's safety, he need to protect the younger even if he have to sacrifice. He have 2 more years to live anyway. Once his age reach 200 soon, he will no longer in this world.

For what they have gathered together, Junkyu can be more powerful than every creature but since he can't control his power yet, Haruto will always watch over him or maybe he would train the younger for future purpose.

But, Haruto is clueless about Junkyu's hatred toward the werewolves and about the revenge plan. With Junkyu revenge planned, everything will getting more intense as death, betrayer, and sacrifice will happening.

Lisa sighed heavily after she wake up from her nap. She literally just having a dream or should we say it was a future prediction ? where everything will turning upside down. "should I tell Haruto about this ?" she mumbled under her breath.
