Chapter 3 -

Junkyu clap his hands in excitement when he watch Haruto was cooking a steak for them. He can't wait to dig those while drooling over the smell and the hissed sound from the pan whenever Haruto pressed the meat against the heat pan. Haruto look at Junkyu through his corner eyes then slightly shook his head with a smiles.

He does really resemble her

Haruto quickly shrugged his sudden thought away then told Junkyu to ready their plate.

"okay bos !" Junkyu gesture his hand on his head and walk toward the cabinet to take out two plates along with fork and stainless together. Because of his clumsiness, he almost broke a plate. With panic eyes, he gaze at Haruto who was boiling the sauce for them. He cleared his throat as it was nothing happen then continue on preparing their plate on the dinner table.

"should I make some orange juice for us ?" suggest Junkyu while Haruto place those steak on the plate neatly. "no. I ready a wine for us to drink" he replied without looking at Junkyu. The younger scratched his neck then nodded. "wine ? I never taste any alcohol before" he mumbled. He was half excited because he will try an alcohol for a first time.

Haruto take a seat opposite of Junkyu after setting up their dinner then pour a wine for Junkyu. "thank you"

"suit yourself" Haruto gesture at their dinner with his eyes and Junkyu replied with a grin "thank you for the dinner ! I will eat well !"

It's funny right, how a vampire and a dhampirs eat a dinner just like a normal human. That's why, human hard to recognize them in this society. They live exactly like a human and not to mention about their appearance, everything looks normal just like a person.

Usually, in every vampire tales, this creature always hiding from the sun and living inside the dark cave and only get out at the night time to hunt.

Junkyu was addicted to the bitter and sour taste of wine. He keep asking for more but Haruto refused to give him more. He puff his cheek in annoyed. "Ya ! ahjushi !! you're being stingy."

"what just you called me ?" Haruto asked in disbelief. He can't accept it. He hate it so much when someone call him an ahjushi.

"ahjushi ?" Junkyu tilt his head to the right. Haruto took a deep breath then close his eyes before he speak "okay, I admit I'm older than you but I don't like it when you call me ahjushi. Just call me hyung okay ?"

"okay, I will call you hyung if you pour another wine for me" Junkyu raised his left eye brows while handing his empty glass to Haruto then the older sighed softly. In defeated, he just let the younger to finish a bottle of wine with him just watching the new adult enjoying his first taste of alcohol. "you might lost control if you drink too much so, don't ever drink by yourself. Are you listening to me Kim Junkyu ??"

"you're talking too much just like my grandma" Junkyu said with an annoyed face after he gulped a glass of his last wine. Once again, Haruto took a deep breath "it's okay ruto. He just a kid and he's probably drunk now"

He raised Junkyu's chin with his index finger then lean closer. Junkyu shocked and his heart was beating so fast as he can feel Haruto's breath on his cheek. "go to sleep" Haruto mumbled with the same method he did 14 years ago to little Junkyu and just like that, Junkyu fall asleep. He lift up the younger just like a bridal style then bring him to the second floor where the guest room was.

The next day, Junkyu waved at Jihoon as soon as he step his feet inside the Uni building. A few minutes ago, he was going to Uni together with Haruto and had a breakfast at the nearest cafe then he have to stop at the bus stop because they don't want to be seen together at his second day of Uni life. "here, I bought a latte for you" Junkyu hand the coffee to Jihoon who already in front of him.

"woaa thanks. I haven't got my breakfast yet" Jihoon grinned then drink the coffee while walking toward their class. They came across with the yesterday guy who was purposely bumping into Junkyu. This morning, the male was smiling brightly toward them. "hye, good morning" he greet.

"oh, morning" they replied hesitately. The male make a tiny pout "come on guys don't be so awkward. I just want to be your friend since we're in the same year." said the male in dissapointed tone.

"ohh sure" Jihoon replied before he take out his hand "I'm Park Jihoon and this is my best friend Kim Junkyu" he point Junkyu with his hand. The male nodded in amusement. "btw I'm Yoon Jaehyuk. Just call me Jaehyuk. Nice to meet you guys" he smirked after that.

"how about we go now ? our class will start soon " excuse Junkyu before he drag Jihoon along with him. "I have a bad feeling about him" Junkyu said when they are far away from Jaehyuk. "bad feeling ? why ? I thought he just nice and friendly. I like this kind of person" Jihoon shrugged.

"just yesterday you called him a weirdo and now you like him" Junkyu shook his head.

"Hm I mean, my first impression of him was a strange guy but when we talk with him today, I can feel our connection. I think he will be the interesting friend"

"whatever, but I will never click with him" Junkyu step inside the class leaving Jihoon behind. "you always been like this Kim Junkyu." Jihoon sighed in dissapointed.

Junkyu clunk his bag on his desk then turned to look at Jihoon "what do you mean ?". Jihoon place his books on his desk next to Junkyu then turned his head to look at Junkyu as well. Both staring at each eyes. "You know, you always judge people without knowing them well. It's happened in our first day of middle school and high school as well. Whenever someone try to get to know us, you refused them all. You know, I badly want to have a circle just like what other people have. Because of you, I couldn't get those. Sometimes, I'm thinking to leave you but your grandma, she want me to stay with you and I know you don't have a friend as well beside me" Jihoon confessed everything then realized his words.

Junkyu's heart was stink hearing everything that Jihoon just told to him. His eyes was in blood shot. They was glad that student haven't come to this class. Jihoon pressed his lips then bow his head down while waiting for a response.

The class ended after prof Haruto gave them their first project. Jihoon quickly pack his thing and ready to leave but then he feel a hand around his wrist "jihoonah.."

"let's talk about this another time. " Jihoon pulled his hand away from Junkyu without even taking a glance at the latter. It was painful watching your friend acting like this toward you. Junkyu almost break down there. He realize he was wrong. It's not because he gatekeeping their friendship to other, he just always having a bad hunch with the new person they met. He sighed but then he feel someone poking his cheek with a pen. He frowned while looking up at Haruto.

"what are you thinking ?" Haruto asked then lean his hip on the desk. "life problem" Junkyu replied with a heavy sighed then throw his sight toward the window staring at the blue sky. The older just let him to stay like that for a while because he can sense a sadness from his face.

"everyone was leaving already. Come on." Haruto patted the younger shoulder while looking down at his wrist clock and Junkyu nodded before he follow Haruto from behind. "oh, where we going now ?" asked Junkyu confused when he forgot that Haruto want him to meet with "them".

Haruto look back at Junkyu then shook his head "just follow me"

Junkyu just hummed with his blank expression. They entered to the private room together and there was Yeonjun and Yoon bickering with each other with Yoshi try to calm them down.  The room are in a biggest chaos.  Haruto breath heavily.

"If you guys won't stop, I will make sure you both starving for blood for the rest of your life"

Yeonjun and Yoon froze with Yeonjun holding a cutter and Yoon grabbing Yeonjun's hair. Yoshi immediately sit on the coach and act like nothing happened.

A heavy sighed coming from Haruto then bring Junkyu who already part his lips closer.

Does this mean, all people inside here was a vampire ?? Yeonjun and Yoon sunbae ?? - Junkyu really shocked.

They all change their gaze toward the door when someone coming in with a lab coat. "what happened ?" asked Lisa while walking toward the empty seat.  "urghh so tired. Give me a bag of blood please !" Yoon quickly search it from the locker behind and grab four bags before she hand to Lisa. Lisa are asking for a bag but Yoon know, one bag is not enough and Lisa might pick a fight with them.

"what are you doing in the lab these few days ?" asked Haruto with a frowned and his both hand in his waist. After finishing one bag, Lisa ready to drink another bag "doing some research" she replied shortly and continue drinking the blood feeling the heaven alone.

"oh, hye Junkyu." greet Yeonjun with a smiles. Junkyu greet back with his awkward smiles. He still in shocked to be honest. He thought, Haruto are the only one vampire who was here. It's surprising when he saw there are four more members. Didn't expect for Yeonjun and Yoon too.

Junkyu flinched when Lisa hold his shoulder. The younger raised his brow in confusion, trying to ask if Lisa need anything or what ?

"are you going to see his future ?" asked Yoshi make Junkyu more confused and tilt his head a little.

Lisa smiles afterward before she taking a glance at Haruto. "something blooming soon" she mumbled then went back to her seat to continue on drinking her blood. Haruto just watching the woman with a boring eyes "what do you mean ? you saw his future without his permission ?"

Lisa shrugged.

"my future ? what do you guys mean ?" Junkyu asked this time. He was damn confused for what had happened in here. Lisa raise her hand up then introduce herself "My name is Lalisa just call me Lisa. I can see a future or to be short, I'm a probhet and you might know I'm one of this creature... a vampire..."

Junkyu gasped in silent because he found someone who can see a future is amazing. Then, get back to the introduction part. Yeonjun and Yoon introduce themselves once again to Junkyu as a vampire this time followed by Yoshi after that.

"we have three more member and they rarely with us because they busy with their own career" Yeonjun added. Junkyu nod sign that he understands. "want some blood ?" asked Haruto and the younger nod right away. Smelling the blood from the pack that Lisa holding already made him drooling since beginning.

While they are minding their own business, "may I ask something ? regardless of my ability" Junkyu asked hesitately.

"just ask anything" Haruto replied with his eyes remain fix on his books.

"You said, I have a same ability with you guys so, what you guys can do ? I'm still clueless about myself" Junkyu look at his palm searching for something that he don't even know. Haruto glance at everyone then took a deep breath.

"we can make someone unconscious, erase their memory and manipulate them through eyes contact. As for probhet, only Lisa who can do that just like you, she's also a special gift from heaven." explained Haruto and Junkyu nod in amusement. He didn't know how to do those but he want to learn it right away.

"your father is a vampire, how could you be this clueless ?" asked Yoon at another side. "I'm not clueless, I'm just asking for a confirmation"

"And one more..." Lisa interfere as she stood up from her seat. Junkyu look up at the woman waiting for her to continue.

"eum.. nothing" she grin and excuse herself to leave the room. "mwoya.... he got me anticipate" Junkyu pout then change his gaze toward Haruto who already stare at him. "what ?" he mouthing to the older.

"I just wonder... what happened to you early ?" asked Haruto taking off his glasses and place it on the table. Junkyu bite his bottom lips "Just have a little argument with my best friend" he responded with a faint smile. He just forgot about it but Haruto reminded him again.

"about what ?" Haruto asked again.

"nothing." he shrugged. He don't have intention to tell his own problem toward the vampire male.

"want to join me tonight ?" asked Haruto as he raised his eyebrows toward the younger. "where ? sleep at your apartment again ??" Junkyu frowning his brows. Haruto bite his inner bottom lips while staring at Junkyu for a few seconds then shook his head "want or not ?"

Junkyu sighed heavily then finally nod. He can just reject but he was curious and by getting closer with the older might can improve his ability. "great. send me your address and I will pick you up tonight"

"give me your contact then" Junkyu take out his phone while handing it to Haruto. The older immediately saved his number on Junkyu's phone and smiles afterwards "done."

Later that night, a calm and relaxing music  inside the dark bar along with a few dim light and some of adult drinking while making love at the other give a shocked to Junkyu. Seeing something like this, he blinked his eyes for a couple of time. He just keep following Haruto from behind.

"Oh? Yoshi sunbae ?" Junkyu couldn't believe what he saw as he saw the japanese guy busy wiping a glass. Yoshi just flash a soft smiles toward them.

"like usual bro" Haruto ordered before he take a seat and told the younger to sit next to him. "Junkyu ?" asked Yoshi changing his gaze toward Junkyu who observing the alcoholic beverage behind Yoshi. He snapped back from his thought when Haruto nudging him.

"eh ?"

"what do you want to drink ?"

"No idea. Any suggestion ?" Junkyu grinned foolishly at Haruto. Haruto gaze at Yoshi "just give him what I ordered" Yoshi nod before he take out a bottle of vodka and another few of different alcohol behind him along with 2 glasses.

"He's working here ?" asked Junkyu out of curiosity as his eyes still remain fix on Yoshi who making a cocktail for them. "He own this bar" replied Haruto shortly then take out his cigarette from his pocket. The younger watch the older inhale the smoke and he gulped at the sight. This vampire male are so sexy for this he thought.

"stop staring" Haruto caught him red handed. "who said I'm staring ?" Junkyu curling his lips in denied. Haruto chuckled before he thanking Yoshi who just placing their cocktails in front of them. "Why ? are you curious how cigarette taste too ?" Haruto exhale a big amount of smoke from his mouth.

"No thank you. " Junkyu take his cocktail and take a few sips of it. A frowned and curiosity was written in his face. He take a sip again and shrugged. "can I have another one ?" Junkyu asked while showing up his empty glass at Yoshi and Yoshi gladly nod.

Haruto turned his head to his side "here you go again..." 

After having a few drinks, Junkyu feels like he will die anytime soon. His head was spinning and his body feels light.

"If I tell you something, would you be mad ?" asked Yoshi hesitately with his eyes looking at Junkyu who was completely drunk.

Haruto look at Yoshi "what is that ?"

"I can see Yihyun on him..." Haruto drop his glass and breath heavily after hearing the name "She's dead already so stop mentioning her" he growl "and don't ever say they are similar. Choi Yihyun is Choi Yihyun... Kim Junkyu is Kim Junkyu.." he added again warning to the latter.

Yoshi nodded in understanding before he clean up the messed that Haruto had done. "I'm sorry" Yoshi muttered.

Haruto turn his gaze toward drunk Junkyu. The red flushed on the younger cheek make him slightly chuckled. "hye kid... are you drunk after taking 5th glasses ?"

Junkyu scratch his head hardly "I'm not drunk ! you shut up old man !" he point his index finger on Haruto's face. The older shook his head in amusement "Master, look at your son. He's drunk." Haruto giggled with his finger keep teasing the younger face.

"My head feels like it will exploit anytime soon" Junkyu hiccup and fall inside Haruto's arm. A hard grip on Haruto's shirt and the soft sob from the younger broke Haruto's heart so much. Junkyu keep murmuring his father's name and Haruto remember it so much where the little Junkyu witnessed his own father drenched in blood. A sight that kid shouldn't see or else it will bring so much trauma.
