SUSPICIOUS

"How about it, Mark?" asked Ben and Rick with worried faces representing the same question.

Mark shook his head, "Boss's cell phone is busy. And now isn't Boss shooting time? We will investigate this first before reporting to the Boss. Do you agree?" said Mark asking his friend's opinion. 

Seeing Ben and the other two men nod, Rick nodded his head too.

"Okay! I'm going to ask the captain of this ship again, you guys keep an eye around!" Mark said again and immediately looked for where the captain of the ship was.

Before splitting up to guard, Ben first interprets Mark's directions for Rick. And after that, they parted around the ship in different directions.

At first glance, there was nothing suspicious about the ship. However, for some reason, Alice's five men couldn't help but feel the strangeness on the ship.

Mark meets the captain of the ship in the engine room.

"What are you doing? Don't act like that because I feel this ship is suspicious! I'll ask you, how did you guys anticipate an attack?" Mark asked the captain something important.

"We only have sharp weapons to anticipate pirate ambushes, and the only one with firearms is me. And this is only a small pistol. Because this ship carries flammable materials, the regulations are prohibited from carrying firearms on this ship," explained the captain of the ship, showing his gun to Mark.

"Why am I not sure? A tanker loaded with crude oil that can make a lot of money even there is no adequate anticipation to repel attacks,"

Mark expressed his disapproval and brought his face closer to the captain of the ship.

"You lied to me, didn't you?" Mark asked after.

"No, no, I don't dare, Sir! That's the rule. After all, this ship rarely sails alone. The company has taken a policy to send this ship sailing together with the carrier ship. So if something goes wrong, they can immediately help us here," the ship captain assured Mark at length.

"Makes sense but why do you guys look like you're hiding something from us?" thought Mark which he expressed directly.

"Of course we are worried. Your bodies are full of large and small firearms. How can we not be anxious and scared if you shoot and make this ship explode?" objected the captain quickly.

"Okay, I accept your reasoning. But don't do anything else. I won't hesitate to finish you off. Remember to stay alert! Don't be careless and keep monitoring around. Trust me, we didn't mean to hurt you. We are here to capture the real enemy. Suspect any ship approaching here and notify me immediately. We're outside!" Mark gave instructions to the captain of the ship.

'Why is he driving so slow? I knew he was afraid of harm, but this seemed to be buying time. I can't stand being around him for long,' Alice grumbled to herself.

'Oh my heart! Keep beating as usual! Please don't betray me!' she added again.

"May I ask?" said Alice and Sean at the same time. Awkward, they fell silent again.

"Ahem, please go first," Sean invited Alice to speak first.

"Fine thanks. I wanted to ask you, couldn't this car go any faster?" asked Alice directly without preamble.

"That's right. You're not comfortable around me, right? Alright, we'll be arriving at the Wing soon," Sean replied in an even tone.

Sean assumed that Alice didn't like them and wasn't comfortable around him. Disappointment and anger made him drive his car faster.

Seeing Sean's behavior like that didn't make Alice worried. Although the speed of the car seemed to be flying, that wasn't what Alice was asking.

"That's not what I mean, Sir. I meant the question earlier, can we get there faster, because I haven't made up. When I got there I immediately changed clothes. Please, don't think like that!" Alice explained calmly.

Sean who heard Alice's words immediately stepped on the brake pedal suddenly and made Alice's head almost hit her head hard if only Sean's hand didn't get in the way.

"Are you all right? Which one is hurt? What hurts?" Sean panicked about Alice's condition because she almost got hit by his actions.

"I'm sorry, for startling you. I won't do it again," he added.

Sean kept apologizing while examining Alice's face which was even fine.

Alice wasn't scared or surprised, instead of laughing amusedly at the confused look on Sean's face with worry.

"Pfft! Your face is so cute, Sir. Why are you panicking like that? I'm fine. After all, why did you speed up and stop so suddenly? Was there something wrong with what I said earlier?" Alice asked, satisfied with being able to laugh at a big lord like Sean.

Sean exhaled roughly while leaning his head on the back of his chair which he lowered slightly to relax.

"I'm afraid you'll get hurt. Sorry for almost endangering you. I can't control my thoughts when I hear you ask. I guess you don't like being around me," Sean replied gloomily.

"Who said? I like, as long as you, oh sorry I mean Master. As long as you don't act silly as usual, I'm fine," Alice said casually, carefree.

Sean, who was already relieved to hear Alice's answer, smiled again. Of course, the nagging in his head also came back again.

"Could you please don't call me 'Master'? You're not my subordinate, just call my name or 'you', it's more comfortable and sounds relaxed," his smile that broke when Sean spoke casually like this, made Alice awkward.

"I can't, I work for Wing, like it or not I'm still your subordinate and it seems our relationship is not that close to greet each other as casually as you want," said Alice, which Sean certainly wouldn't accept.

"Get used to it. Isn't it funny when we get married you still call me 'Master'?" Sean said casually and smiled. Then he started his car slowly again.

"Didn't you say you weren't going to seduce me? Then what did I just hear?" Alice protested.

"Reality," Sean replied curtly, smiling at Alice.

"That's not seduction. It's reality. You will be my wife one day. So get used to it!" he continued.

'Up to you! I know I won't win against you!' Alice cursed in her mind.

She had given up her mouth to argue with the stubborn human beside her.

However, for some reason her heart was as happy as a breath of fresh air when she listening to Sean saying that.

The car drove slowly as it approached the entrance of the Wing Entertainment building. By mutual decision, Alice descended before entering the courtyard of the building. Of course, Sean objected, but what can he do? He couldn't refuse the request of the special woman in his heart.

Alice ran, went straight to the artist's dressing room and there she found Dena and Nathael who were relaxing with their respective activities.

"Sorry I'm late!" said Alice to the crew. Without further ado, she ran to grab the clothes the crew immediately gave her.

Without waiting for their disapproving sneers, Alice left the area to change clothes.

"Huh, thanks!" said Alice with relief as she sat down at the vanity table. The makeup artist immediately did Alice's makeup deftly.

"Hey, Miss! Don't put too much makeup on! It will hide Alice's true beauty!" Nathael's words immediately made everyone glance at him.

His demeanor was very relaxed, but his gaze did not leave Alice's face, which was making up.

"Do you know her, Nathael?" asked Dena who was next to him. Because coincidentally they were both waiting for when filming would take place.

"Are we too close to make you call my name so casually? And yes, I know Alice. We studied art at the same university. Then who are you? I never even heard your name?"

Nathael's words sounded outrageous to Dena's ears instead of making Alice smile in the amusement without a sound.

'You're so outrageous, Nael! But your words are very good, I like it, hihihi!' Alice laughed inwardly. And no one knew that Alice was smiling to herself except for the makeup artist who did her makeup.

"Oh, I see. Sorry if I'm being rude, because I think if Mr. Nathael knows Alice, then Master knows that she is my sister," said Dena without wanting to lose.

"Oh, so you're Alice's adopted sister who her parents love more? Okay, I already know," replied Nael indifferently and ignored Dena seriously.

Of course, being treated like that made Dena feel humiliated.

However, what she didn't understand even more, how close was Alice to this famous male artist over there? Isn't family problems a sensitive issue that can't be shared with people who are not very close?

"Excuse me, may I know how close your relationship is that you know our family affairs?" asked Dena in a disapproving tone.

"I'm sorry too. I'm not interested in telling what our relationship with strangers is like. I'll see you at the shooting later, I'm going out!" Nael replied casually and left Dena guilt-free.

If her face is not heavily made-up, then you can see Dena's face which is already red with anger.

While Alice continued to smile amusedly. Which made her makeup artist smile too.
