Their queen

Rill too only just thought about it after saying it. 'if it was like families, then we are not meant to have anything in common, but it feels like it's real.'

"Hey guys, hold on, wait wait..." The tigers didn't obviously listen until they had their each satisfied share of licking him.

"So why is there this bond between us, is this meant to be normal or there's some bigger thing I don't understand here!" Rill asked causing the tigers to be confused as well, they each looked at each other and and began conversing in whatever language it is they spoke in.

One of the tigers walked up to Rill, then it uses its paw to clean away sand before then using it's claw to scratch or write on the ground.

The writing wasn't in human language or anything the duo has seen before it was some form of archaic language, but the very first character seem to awaken something deep inside Rill. The second character forced the same reaction again, but this time bigger as a wave of energy exploded from within him, blowing the girls hair and dress around.

If before the tigers still weren't sure if Rill was who they thought he was, now they were a hundred and one percent sure.

The third character to the ordinary person was just some character written beside other characters, but to Rill it wasn't.

Before him was three characters that had now transformed into images, the first one being a humanoid shaped image, the second was a throne on the world and the last was a crowned tiger.

Seeing everything together, energy waves began to explode out from him and the girl had to shifts away so as to not get injured if something drastic happens.

The previous blue tiger Rill had controlled by luck and accident around himself during his fight, reappeared around him again.

The tigers seeing this immediately stopped all and what they were doing, they immediately picked Rill up, and started flying back in the direction they came from.

Another tiger comes up to the girl and motions for her to climb unto it, she hesitated for some seconds but thinking back to how the tigers showed hostility to her for leaving Rill's side earlier, she mounted the tiger, and had her first flight experience.

"Aaaaaaaarrrrrrggghh!!!"

She was screaming all the way and tightly hugging the tiger's body while gripping it's fur like her life depended on it, to which it did because the tiger didn't care if it was her first time riding in the air and was instead flying at its fastest speed.

Swoosh!

The rest of the flying tigers were also closing in fast, they as well felt the disturbance and the awakening of a special energy that was suppose to not be around for another century or so.

The tigers brought Rill and the girl into their hive, through the crack made when they came out earlier to attack the disturbing humans.

Entering through the crack, the tigers flew through a maze if different chambers, going around in what could be explained as circles. After a while they reach a deep dark place that narrows all the way down, but as they got to the bottom, there's a wide space at least as big as an acre of land.

The place has stalactites and stalagmites joined together all around, and on the bodies of the columns all around there are things like veins all around connecting to huge lumps of a small four legged animal covered in a pod like slimy substance.

They all feel and looked dead through the pod, but a week pulse travels from the ground to the columns and through the veins to the pods all around the huge space.

Down below on the ground is a once pure white tiger, bit has now become grey. It could be seen immediately from the tigers face that is was a female, and not only was she of a different color to the others but she was also twice their sizes.

One of her wings alone was much bigger and longer than the pair of wings each tiger had. She looked frail and weak, like as if she was drained of life slowly and continuously, and it is exactly so as it was from her body the pulse that kept more than a thousand winged tiger hatchling alive came from.

Every little vitality she could regain, she sent into the pulse.

The tiger that drew the characters earlier, whom also seemed to be the smartest amongst the others, came forward. He went beside the grey tiger and used his paw to start describing in the air.

He pointed at the grey tiger, and used his paw to draw a circle above his head.

Rill turned his head a little, then he widened his eyes in realization as he nodded his head. "She is the queen!"

Hearing his reply the tiger nodded it's head, satisfied with the intelligence of Rill at instantly grabbing at his point. Then the tiger used it's paw to trace at the tubes that connects all the columns of hatchlings to the queen and the pulse that travels through it every ten minutes or so.

After showing the process the tiger then draws on the ground in common language, five centuries.

Rill didn't need to think twice before he realized the situation of the matter. He looked down at the grey tiger that would have once been a pure white beauty bit is now grey, frail and old. Then his eyes also looked at the uncountable pods containing little winged tigers that should have been hatched a long while ago.

"You don't mean it, she has been doing this for the past five centuries, how is she still alive?" Rill asked in shock and it seems like the queen heard him because her eyes opened a little, it was so little it could be barely called a slit then it closed back.

The girl behind Rill as well also realized what the tiger was explaining through how Rill acted up, and even though she feared and despised beasts due to her numerous encounters with them, she couldn't help but to feel pity and sympathy for the winged tiger queen.

To Rill's question the leading tiger, used it's head to call for roll to follow it, then it walks to the back of where the columns are situated. Rill, the girl and he rest of the winged tigers follow.

Reaching a wall, the tiger scratches it's claws against a part of the wall causing sparks to fly out from the impact. Something flammable seemed to have been kept there as the sparks immediately bloomed into a full fire revealing to be lit atop a torch.

The tiger repeated the same on seven other places before the whole wall was then brightened, along with the drawings on it.

Rill walked forwards and stands before the wall, the girl coming to stay by his side. Rill looks at the tiger and the tiger nods it's head at him, he breathes in deeply as he reads the illustrations on the wall.

According to the drawings an illustrations on the wall, the winged tigers were only just a fraction of the true winged tigers across the realm and beyond, but their patriarch and founder of this their current hive was the one that traveled the world away form his family, and settled in this realm as he deemed it perfect for the making of a family.

He had married his queen who happened to be a wandering tigress in search of love and happiness, and they lived well for a few centuries till the queen knew of a disturbing matter that happened to be the cause of why he had left his family.

Out of millions of winged tigers of the same bloodline and physique, only he happened to be the one with a different physique and bloodline. The tigers had a fighters bloodline and a strong physique with orange colored wings, but he was the only one with a black colored pair of wings and had a berserker's physique.

The queen had found this out when she gave birth, seven centuries after their marriage which shouldn't even be a quarter of that for a tiger with low child count. Apart from this when she gave birth she always gave birth in bulks of five thousands which shouldn't be more than two hundred at a time, but she was happy since it meant she would have a full family faster than regular.

Until the berserker's bloodline kicked in and the children couldn't survive the excessive burst of power and energy. So the king and queen had to have intimacy under the children hatching spot for fifty days straight, that was the only was they were able to save two thousand out of every five thousand she gave birth to each time.

Few thousand years passed, and their hive was flourishing well, they were one of the best beast race in the realm, but they denied to pose a territory and didn't compete in any fights for space it resources, because they had a secret.
