Gillians, known as the (Girian) in Japanese, meaning "Lowest Great Hollow," are the initial and weakest stage of the Menos evolution. Despite being the lowest tier, they hold a haunting presence. In human terms, they would be the foot soldiers of the Hollow army, numerous and indistinguishable from one another, embodying an eerie uniformity. In Soul Society, these are the Menos often depicted in textbooks, their dark silhouettes etched into the minds of budding Shinigami.
Towering and imposing, Gillians move with a lumbering slowness that belies their beast-like intellect. Their massive forms can be seen plodding through the forests of Hueco Mundo, their every step shaking the ground. Yet, for all their size and supposed menace, a captain-level Shinigami can dispatch them with little effort, cutting through their ranks like a hot knife through butter. Rukia Kuchiki, a seasoned Shinigami, had only encountered these formidable creatures in the pages of her textbooks until fate led her to meet Ichigo Kurosaki. That encounter shattered her previous perceptions, revealing the true nature of the threat they posed.
Gillians are rarely solitary hunters. They attack in packs, a wave of dark, towering figures moving with a singular, destructive purpose. One Gillian alone is a formidable challenge for a Lieutenant of the Gotei 13, their combined strength turning them into a veritable nightmare. These Menos typically breach the Human World through spatial distortions known as Kūmon (Air Gate), their arrival heralded by a chilling stillness in the air before they emerge, ready to wreak havoc.
Gillians are colossal monster Hollows, standing at an imposing height of 2 to 6 stories tall, easily dwarfing even the largest standard Hollow. Their sheer size and terrifying presence make them a formidable sight. Each Gillian wears a distinctive white mask with an elongated nose, giving them an eerily uniform appearance. Their entire bodies are shrouded in a black covering that resembles a cloak, adding to their menacing aura.
Around their necks is a row of thin white spikes, protruding menacingly from their otherwise smooth forms. Their large, pointed feet are wrapped in white bandages, further emphasizing their monstrous nature. Their hands, equally large and white, end in long, sharp nails. These hands are usually hidden within their cloak, rarely seen even during combat, adding to the mysterious and threatening demeanor of the Gillians.
Perhaps the most unsettling feature of a Gillian is its long tongue, capable of breaking a fellow Hollow's mask. This tongue, a weapon in its own right, underscores the brutal hierarchy within the Hollow ranks, where even the weakest of the Menos can be deadly to their own kind.
Though Gillians usually lack any discernible personality, making them particularly dangerous due to their mindless, instinct-driven behavior, there is a rare exception. Among the multitude of Hollows that constitute a Gillian, one might seize control over the newly formed entity. This dominance is reflected in a unique mask, setting it apart from the standard Gillian. These rare variants possess the potential to evolve into the more formidable Adjuchas-class Menos.
The path to evolution for these exceptional Gillians is a brutal and relentless one, marked by the continued cannibalization of fellow Hollows, including other Gillians. This cannibalistic drive fuels their growth and transformation, pushing them towards greater power and intelligence. The process is a testament to the savage hierarchy of the Hollow world, where only the strongest and most cunning survive and ascend.
In essence, while the typical Gillian is a massive, mindless beast, driven solely by instinct, the rare instances of individuality among them hint at the potential for something far more dangerous. These unique Gillians, distinguished by their unusual masks and relentless hunger for power, embody the terrifying reality of the Hollow evolution, where the struggle for dominance is both a means of survival and a path to greater monstrosity.
I had finally won. I had consumed all of them. Being a Menos it was a constant battle, fighting to protect your own individuality from being overwhelmed and consumed by the other hundreds or even thousands of hollows that make up a Menos's being.
I'd finally one and I felt it the shift in my being. Evolution now that only one remained. The massive size I had as a Menos shrank as I became a hollow more fitting of me. As my soul shaped my forn to match the image that best describes me.
Ajuchas are the next stage of hollow evolution after Menos.
Adjuchas ( Ajūkasu; Japanese for "Intermediate Great Hollow") represents the second classification of Menos. Unlike their colossal and numerous predecessors, the Gillians, Adjuchas are smaller in stature and far fewer in number. However, what they lack in size, they more than makeup for in intellect and strength.
These Intermediate Great Hollows possess a cunning and intelligence far superior to that of the mindless Gillians. It is not uncommon for Adjuchas to take command of Gillians, leading these hulking brutes into battle with strategic precision. Their sharp minds and powerful abilities make them formidable leaders and dangerous adversaries on the battlefield.
Adjuchas are typically solitary creatures, preferring to operate alone rather than in groups. This solitary nature is a testament to their strength and self-sufficiency. Despite their tendency to isolate, they are powerful enough to pose a significant threat to even the captains of the Gotei 13, the elite Shinigami warriors.
As his individuality solidified, he began to break free from the uniformity of the Gillian form. His spiritual pressure increased significantly, and his body continued to morph. He stood at a towering height of around 8 feet, exuding a menacing yet alluring presence. His body is a blend of the elegant and vibrant peacock and the dark, mysterious raven.
His Hollow mask covers most of his face, resembling the beak and eye area of a raven, sharp and menacing. It has intricate designs resembling the delicate feathers of a peacock, adding an aura of elegance to the otherwise fearsome mask. His eyes glow an iridescent green, piercing and hypnotic, capable of instilling fear and awe in those who gaze into them. From the top of his mask extends a crest of long, shimmering feathers that resemble a peacock's crown, each feather having an eerie, metallic sheen.
His torso is lean but muscular, covered in sleek, black feathers that seem to absorb light, giving him a shadowy appearance. Interspersed among the black feathers are iridescent ones that change color from green to blue to purple, mimicking a peacock's plumage.A large, circular pattern resembling a peacock's eye feathers spans across his chest, glowing with a faint, ominous light.
He possesses two large wings, one resembling a raven's, with jet-black, powerful feathers that can slice through the air with ease. The other wing is akin to a peacock's, with long, luxurious feathers that shimmer with an otherworldly light, creating a stark contrast to the dark raven wing. This wing is not only beautiful but also deadly, capable of releasing a flurry of razor-sharp feathers at will.
His lower body is more reminiscent of a bird of prey, with strong, talon-like feet that allow him to grip and tear apart his enemies. The legs are covered in a mix of black and iridescent feathers, providing both protection and an intimidating appearance.
His tail is long and flowing, a combination of raven's sleekness and peacock's grandeur. The feathers are predominantly black, with streaks of iridescent blue and green. At the end of his tail, the feathers spread out in a fan shape, displaying eye-like patterns.
He raised his head and roared in triumph at his ascension."My name from this point forth shall be Kurokujaku Tsukikage" he said as his eyes glowed.

The energy his evolution gave attracted other hollows. From hungry Adjucas trying to evolve or delay regression to weaker hollows trying to get luck and ascend to the high stage.
The battleground was a desolate, moonlit wasteland within Hueco Mundo. Jagged rocks and sparse, twisted trees cast long shadows across the white sand. The air was thick with spiritual pressure, crackling with the tension of imminent conflict.
Zalacor a towering Adjuchas with the form of a reptilian beast. His scales were dark green, and his eyes burned with a fierce yellow light. His mouth was filled with rows of sharp teeth, and his long tail was tipped with a spiked club.
Lyria a lithe and agile Adjuchas, resembling a humanoid feline. Her fur was sleek and black, and her movements were swift and fluid. She had razor-sharp claws and a keen, predatory gaze.
Grimmak a brutish Adjuchas with a form reminiscent of a gorilla. His body was massive and covered in thick, matted fur. His fists were enormous, capable of crushing rock with ease.
Sylpha a sly, serpentine Adjuchas. Her body was long and sinuous, covered in shimmering scales. She moved with a hypnotic grace, her eyes cold and calculating.
Kurokujaku stood his ground as the four Adjuchas closed in, each one driven by hunger and the lure of his powerful aura. He assessed his opponents, his mind sharp and focused.
Zalacor lunged first, his powerful legs propelling him forward with surprising speed. He aimed to crush Kurokujaku with his spiked tail.
Kurokujaku swiftly dodged to the side, his iridescent feathers glinting in the moonlight. With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed a Cero Pluma which burst into a storm of sharp, dark energy feathers upon impact, causing widespread damage.
The dark energy feathers shot forward, piercing Zalacor's scales and sending him crashing to the ground with a roar of pain.
"Pathetic," Kurokujaku sneered, his voice carrying an edge of disdain. "You think brute force is enough to defeat me?"
Lyria took advantage of the opening, darting in with feline agility. Her claws slashed at Kurokujaku, aiming for his throat.
Kurokujaku's wings flared open, and he launched into the air, narrowly avoiding Lyria's attack. He countered with Hypnotic Plumage, the light from his feathers creating disorienting illusions. Lyria stumbled, her attacks becoming wild and unfocused.
"What... what is this?" Lyria growled, her eyes wide with confusion.
"An illusion," Kurokujaku replied coolly, "one that will be your end."
Grimmak charged forward, his massive fists aiming to pummel Kurokujaku into submission. His sheer strength was a formidable threat.
Kurokujaku landed gracefully on a nearby rock, his sharp eyes tracking Grimmak's movements. As Grimmak's fists smashed into the ground where he had been, Kurokujaku used Umbra Talon, his talons elongating and striking with incredible speed. They pierced Grimmak's fur, drawing a howl of pain from the brute.
"Feel the darkness, brute," Kurokujaku said, his voice dripping with malice. "It will consume you."
Sylpha slithered around the battlefield, her movements hypnotic and deceptive. She circled behind Kurokujaku, her fangs bared, ready to strike.
Kurokujaku sensed her approach and turned swiftly. He spread his wings wide, enveloping Sylpha in a cloak of darkness with Shadow Dance. For a moment, the battlefield was silent, and then Sylpha's scream pierced the air as Kurokujaku's talons found their mark in the shadows.
"You thought you could sneak up on me?" Kurokujaku whispered into the darkness. "Foolish."
Zalacor, wounded but not defeated, rose again and charged, desperate to land a hit.
Kurokujaku faced him with a calm, predatory gaze. He spread his tail feathers wide and unleashed Peacock's Wrath, a barrage of energy blasts from each eye-like pattern. The blasts converged on Zalacor, engulfing him in a storm of destructive power.
"No... impossible," Zalacor gasped, his voice fading as the energy overwhelmed him.
Lyria, still disoriented, tried to escape but was met with another Cero Pluma, ending her struggle in a burst of dark energy feathers.
"Run all you want," Kurokujaku called after her. "You cannot escape your fate."
Grimmak weakened and enraged, attempted one last, desperate attack. Kurokujaku, with a fluid motion, used Umbra Talon Fury, his talons extending and striking with lethal precision, bringing the brute down.
"Strength alone is meaningless," Kurokujaku said, his voice cold. "Without intelligence, you are nothing."
Sylpha, injured and vulnerable, tried to slither away, but Kurokujaku's Shadow Embrace pulled her back into the darkness, where she met her end.
"The shadows are my domain," Kurokujaku whispered. "You never stood a chance."
The battlefield fell silent, the bodies of the defeated Adjuchas lying still in the moonlit wasteland. Kurokujaku stood amidst the fallen, his feathers shimmering with an eerie, ethereal light. His transformation was complete, he had proven his dominance and solidified his position as a powerful Adjuchas.
He feasts on the bodies of his fallen prey. An addictive feeling of his power growing slowed threw him. As he finished consuming the bodies and the surge of power subsided he prepared to leave.
With a final, haunting call, Kurokujaku spread his wings and ascended into the night sky, leaving behind a scene of devastation and a clear message: He was not to be trifled with.
