They have made Maria to continuously produce heritage since none of the other subjects manages to do what she can do but when she inherited the heritage, all the subject turns into The Fallen. No one knows why or how they turn into The Fallen. The scientists thought that the subject they have are too weak since they all are used to be normal civilians. They shift their subject to The Knights and The Warrior. They mostly used The Knight than The Warriors because of the upper echelon of The Warriors majority against it."

"How is it? It is to difficult for you to understand Mikayla?" said Kent.

"No. So far I understand but did the civilian just accept the research?" said Mikayla.

"The civilian was notified about the past research not the current one with Maria. The current one is a government secret. They believe if they manage to uncover the secret they able to use it as our continent top secret," said Kent.

"What it has to do with my father?" said Mikayla.

"I am going to continue to that part," said Kent. "Most of The Knight involves in the experiment did not know that they are receiving Maria's heritage. They were only told to be equipped with new war weapon. So that is why your father did not know about it. Nelson investigates more about Maria and found out that she has been eating children as the main diet. He cannot tolerate it anymore and decided to kill Maria, he feels responsible to stop Maria. He waits for an opportunity to kill Maria and strike when she was alone. He thought that Maria is alone but saw Joshua dug Katherine's heart and give it to Maria. Maria takes the heart and changes it with her heart. Nelson is dumbfounded, he knew that Maria healing ability is strong but not so strong until able to change heart like that.

At that time he determines that Maria is a monster. He takes Katherine and brought her out from the research centre. He makes a new plan and uses his authorities as a scientist, he approaches Maria and attacks her. He traps her in a formation and blows the research centre because he wants to make sure that Maria died in those powerful impact and none of her remains stays in this world. But he miscalculates about the research centre, it is actually connected with the Jon city underground tunnel and because of that Jon city collapse.

My sister did not make it and died three days later. Your father and I hide Nelson far from Jon city to your city. Using information provided by Nelson, your father has a direction where he is going to investigate his friends. Three years ago, your father found out that all his friends have been terminated as a failure subject and become furious. Your father Wings change into black but he did not lose control like the others and this caught Joshua interest.

Joshua invites your father to see Maria as the main successor but he rejects the offer. Joshua decided that your father is dangerous and kill him. Joshua did not want destruction that happens because of The Fallen that happens to the cities of Hana and Andra is repeated. The government even told the public that there is a fallen becomes crazy and destroy the city of Jon to hide Maria.

As for you Mikayla, since your father is the only person that manages to stay sane after receiving Maria heritage, they have been searching who is the one that receives his heritage. All the clues lead to you and seeing you can receive it without being fallen making you a suitable experiment subject. Furthermore, you are the only Wing tribe that able to inherited full heritage despite been born with wings. You are a wonder yourself and they might create a second Maria with you."

Mikayla shudders to hear that he will be second Maria. When he is kidnapped, he has heard about being an experimental subject but still confuse about it and now he knows what it is mean. Mikayla inhales and exhale breath a few times to calm his mind and sort all the information.

"Thank you for saving me," said Mikayla as he bows towards Kent. He knows Kent has sacrificed his freedom by helping him.

"What are you doing, get up. No need for all this, before Katherine died she tells me that she did not want anyone becoming Maria's victim anymore," said Kent. His eyes are cloudy and filled with water but he held the water from pouring.

"It's late, go to sleep," said Kent as he shoves Mikayla out from the room and closes the door. Mikayla stands in front of the room for a while and goes to his room.

Kent and his people leave in the middle of the night and did not say goodbye to Mikayla. Mikayla knows about this after Alaric tells him during breakfast. Mikayla prays for their safety and he also hopes for a new beginning with the Blade family. After breakfast, Alaric asks to see him in the study.

"Mikayla from now on you will be Mikayla Blade and will be my child. It will be hard for you but I'm sure you can adapt," said Alaric.
