Chapter Five

Skylar  Point of Veiw:

After Robin took us back into our cells, I stayed up waiting on Charles, a new guard. We had business a while back before both turning a new leaf. He said he'd do me a solid for old time sake. He came in with Vivian, "You got ten minutes before I take her back." He says leaving. "Sky, it's been a real long time." Viv says sitting on the bed. Trish had already fallen asleep. "Has been. I need something from you, remember that favor you owe me? I'ma need to cash it in." I say offering her a drink from the jail booze I had gotten. "Mm, alright what's up?" She says taking a swig. "I need you to tell Hamilton that Anna's crew were the ones that targeted Nancy and her's. Because Nancy was responsible for what happened to Anna." I explained to her. "What's this about Sky?" She asked. "Just do it Viv. Then ask to move into here. Make sure nothing happens to you, yeah?" I say. Charles came back and took her away. After that I went to sleep.

The next day we got our rec and yard time back. Viv ended up going into solitary for the next few days. "Ima be right back love bug. Trish and Aurora got you." I say kissing her forehead. Crack head Kelly nodded at me which told me that Ivy was in her unit. I walked down to there and saw her backhand Flo. "Had one fucking job. You fucked it up, now fix it, or I'll make sure the girls know who ruined it." Ivy said gripping her jaw then pushing her away. Flo flew right outta there. "Ayee took care of it." I say leaning down to pick up the roll of cash from the floor. I handed it to her and laughed. "About two hundred short, yeah?" I countinue. "Mind your own. I'll take care of the rest." she nods taking the cash. "Right on." I say then made my way back outside. "Where the hell is Faye?" I asked the girls once I returned. "Gaurds came for her, we weren't allowed to follow." Trish says throwing a tennis ball at the wall. I bit my lip and headed inside, she wasn't in Rec, showers, or the library. I walked to our unit and saw her moving her things into my cell. "They moved me in here." she sighed sighing on the bed. "Did you have anything to do with that?" she raised an eyebrow. "I wouldn't know a thing." I fake gasped and she rolled her eyes. "Where the candy babe?" she pouts. "Under the bed." I say. Then the alarm went off. "CODE RED IN SHOWERS. THIS IS A LOCK DOWN. EVERYONE BACK TO YOUR UNITS." Hamilton's voice boomed. "What's a code red?" Faye asked taking a bite out of a twix. "Prisoner with a deadly weapon." I say. "By your cells." Morales yells. After they did call, our units were locked. We could still roam within the unit. "So when is our hearing?" she asks. "In two weeks." I say scanning the room. Something seemed off, I noticed the camera covered, then Morales left her station. "Do not leave this cell, do you understand me?" I say. "What's going on babe?" she say confused. Crack Head Kelly was watching TV, when Olivia and a few of the other girls came up to her. The entire unit was silent, Kelly was so high she didn't even notice. "Hey Kellyyy, how you doing girl?" Olivia says sitting across from her. "Oh me? Me, I'm-I'm doing great! Ya know just, just great." She laughed. After a moment her eyes widened. "Uh um why, why do you ask?" she said looking around. "Well I just wanted to see the reaction of the ice you stole from me? Eh it was like 350 worth of stuff you stole for ya self, was it not?" Olivia chuckled chewing on some gum. "You see lotta these girls paid for the shit you so selfishly took. So what are we gonna do about that?" she chuckled clapping her hands. The other girl grabbed her, one by her hair, another made sure she kept seated. "I- I didn't take it, I swear!" she spat out. "What are the going to do?" Faye asks looking over my shoulder. "I don't think you wanna know babe." I sigh leaning on the cell bars. "Can't we like do something?" She said with wide eyes when one of the girls pulled out sock with a heavy object in it. "No love bug, not now." I say trying to move her to the bed where she couldn't see, she wouldn't budge. " I didn't take them please!" kelly shouted. Olivia smashed her hands over and over again until they were purple and bloody. "STOP IT! PLEASE!" Kelly cried. "HELP ME, PLEASE HELP ME!" She shouted. "For fucks sake. GET OFF OF HER! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH!" Faye screams pushing me aside to pass me. "Exsuce me bitch?" Olivia says. "You heard me get the fuck off of her." Faye spits outs. Olivia takes a step towards Faye but I whistle. "Leave it alone Olivia. You're done so move along." I say crossing my arms. Faye was helping Kelly up, she hands were busted for sure. "You don't run shit anymore Sky." She said swinging the sock full force. I dodged then caught it. I swung it back at her hitting her in the face several times. "I SAID MOVE ALONG." I yell in her now bloody face. Faye pulled the alarm while everyone else just watched. "Not one of you are going to help her? You're all pathetic, and weak. What women stands by to watch this?" Faye shouts to everyone. "When they come, you cannot tell them anything. Tell them you didn't see." I say to her in a hushed voice. The guards came and took Kelly and Olivia to medical where they transferred Kelly to the hospital. After the gaurds asked us questions we got locked back into our cells. Faye was still shaking, she hadn't said a word. She wouldn't even let me touch her. A few hours went by without a word, I was sure she had fallen asleep. "You weren't going to stop them." She finally speaks. "It wasn't my place to." I reply. That response angers her and she turns to look at me, after a moment she turns her back to me again. The rest of the night was as quiet as it could get in here.
