Chapter 7

"Boys, this is Ace. He is your brother. Be nice to him." Garp informs Luffy and Kaen. Luffy goes to forward greet him but gets spit on making him get angry.

"Hey, what's your problem. Say sorry to me." Luffy says as he demands an apology from Ace. Ace just T'ch and runs back into the forest with Luffy trying to keep up. Garp and Kaen both look at this before Garp knocks on the mountain bandits door.

"Hey who is knocking on the door. AHH, Garp-san what do you need? A a rather tall and overweight middle aged woman with long, orange, curly hair and a big, masculine face. She can be seen smoking a cigarette as she looks at Garp with wide surprised eyes.

"Hey Dadan, I need you to look at my youngest grandson Luffy, he is chasing Ace at the moment." Garp says with jolly tone. Dadan eyes narrow as she looks at Garp.

"I don't want to take care of another one your devil grandson. Ace is already a handful." Dadan says as she tries to close the door but Garp stops her.

"Ahh, well then I will have have turn you in." Garp replies as he massages his head. At that moment her personality does 180 flip as she sweetly smiles at it.

"Ahhh of course, I will take care of your evil devil... I mean sweet angelic grandson." Dadan says as she smiles while looking at Garp's reaction.

"Alright then, I have some business with the marines. So Kaen will be staying here. Your job is to supervise Ace and Luffy so they don't make too much trouble." Garp informs them as h picks his noise before using Soru to get to the boat.

"Alright then brat, if you need food, hunt it yourself. Understand brat." Dadan tells them before closing the door on Kaen's face making him get annoyed.

"Might as well go meet Luffy, Ace and Sabo." Kaen sighs to himself before going deep in the forest with Soru.

1 hour later

Kaen stopped using Soru after 10 mins since it is quite taxing on his 12 year old body. Kaen looked around recognizing this area where Ace and Sabo will meet will Luffy. He could faintly hear the sounds of arguing a few meters in front of him. He saw Ace and Sabo tying Luffy to a tree with Luffy crying out to not kill him.

"While it is funny, I would ask you to not kill my little brother." Kaen chuckles at the scene but steps forward to save him.

"Kaen nii-san, save me!!! They want to kill me." Luffy cries out as tear stream down his face. Both Sabo and Ace pick their weapons and look at his direction. Kaen narrows his eyes at them, then moves faster they can see him. This causes their eyes to widen as they try to look for him. Before they know it, you can see Kaen's sword on the throat of Ace and a black fire spear behind Sabo making them gulp loudly.

"While you are quite strong for your age, I been training to become the strongest at the young age of 6. Now we are going to untie my brother and talk about why you want to kill him. " Kaen says in a low and serious voice making both of the older boy nod their heads quickly. Kaen disperses the flame spear and cuts the rope with a single sword slash.

"That was amazing nii-san, can you teach me how to move that fast? I want to learn how to use a sword like that." Kaen swore that he saw literal stars in his eyes. Luffy bounced up and down like a hyper active child given candy. While Ace and Sabo looked like they were not interested, Kaen knew they also wanted to know.

"Sorry luffy, but that is a marine secret technique understand. To learn how to wield a sword will take a few years to learn. Plus my sword is special one." The last sentence intrigued all the 3 of them.

"What do you mean by that nii-chan"? Luffy asks while scratching his head. Both Sabo and Ace tried to listen in.

"Very well, keep this a secret understand. My sword is a Meito specially one of the 50 Skillful Blades of extremely high quality, outclassed only by the twelve Supreme Grade swords and the twenty-one Great Grade swords. This sword can fetch around 700,000 berries." Kaen explained to them and he could see depressed faces of Sabo and Aces. After all, they only saved around 100,000 berries from their acts of theft.

"Ohhh, Okay. I will keep this a secret." Luffy says as he clasps both hands on his mouth. Before Kaen can say something, he hears a group of men arriving and talking loudly.

"Ahh Ace, how nice of you to appear in front on us. Hand over the treasure you stole from us and everything you have." Porchemy says as he surrounds the rest of the gang. Both Ace and Sabo take a fighting stance while Kaen is relaxed. Though, you can see his hand on his sword, ready to strike when the other fail. Luffy the lovable idiot goes to strike first with his signature "Gum-Gum Pistol" which barely touches the chin of Porchemy. The other people are frightened while Porchemy calmly looks at the situation.

"So you ate a devil fruit. Not bad, boy but you are quite bad at using it."

"Shut-up, I will show you the power of Gomu-Gomu Pistol."

Luffy goes to attack him but Porchemy gets tired by this kid, extends the cutlass to chop the arm of Luffy. Kaen seeing this uses Soru and counters with his own sword, blocking the strike. Porchemy gets surprised as he tries another time but this time Kaen goes on the offensive.

"Ittoryu Iai: Shishi Sonson(Lion's Song)." Kaen slowly sheathes his blade as blood and cuts can be seen Porchemy's body. His body goes limp and falls on the ground making wide eyes open from the surrounding area.

"He took down Porchemy, so quickly and easily." Both Ace and Sabo reply.

"He took Deputy Captain so easily, we have to tell Captain about this." All the men ran toward Gray Terminal running away in fear from the 12 year old child.

"Ahh, Should I have done that. I took away the epic rescue that Sabo and Ace performed. This also did not allow the 3 of them to bond together as brothers." Kaen thinks in his head as he looks at the 3 and then thinks of the future. Maybe changing the canon isn't so bad as a grin slowly forms on his face creeping other 3 out.

"Let's go back to Dadan's place. Sabo if you want to come, you are welcome." Sabo decides to take up on his offer. So the 4 of them trek back to Dadan's house with the 3 asking Kaen questions about how he got so strong? If he can teach them anything?
