Foosha Village, Dawn Island, East Blue
The wind is blowing the giant dog-head battleship towards the little island. Foosha Village is a little port village that is located on Dawn Island and is part of Goa Kingdom. The most notable place is Mt. Colubo where the notable mountain bandits live such as Dadan to assist or cause chaos the village.
Our little protagonists sees the village with excitement because he is going to meet Luffy. Luffy was 9 years old at this time who ate the Gomu-Gomu no Mi(Rubber Fruit) turning his entire body into rubber making him impervious to blunt damage and giving him a little resistance to blade weapons. He can even beat Enel who is considered a 500,000,000 pirate by Oda since rubber is a bad conductor to lighting.

"With 5x talent, my progress has risen very high. I have improved enough to fight against 50,000 to 90,000,000 pirates. Still it's not enough to beat the weakest Rear-Admiral." Kaen thinks to himself as he reflect to himself. Kaen looks at Garp and Bogart respectively and screams Stats in his mind.

"Both Bogard and Grandpa Garp are far stronger than me. Bogard's abilities are at a bottleneck making him at a Rear-Admiral rank. I must get stronger." Kaen thinks in his head as he curls his hand into fists tightly.
"Alright everyone me and Kaen will gone for a week. Bogard you are incharge, call me if you need something bad happens understand or if you need anything understand." Garp loudly calls them and moves out when Bogard nods his head in confirmation. Garp uses Soru and goes towards the village and Kaen tries to keep up his Soru. After 30 mins, they arrive at Foosha as villagers are doing their business. One of them looks at Garp and a smile blossoms on his face. His loud voice attracts the attention of other villagers.
"Look Garp-san is finally here. Welcome back." A random male villager shouts with the other's echoing his words. Garp waves back and loudly laughs as they greet him. A old man with a cleft chin, wearing oval glasses, and has a mustache and a beard step forward out from the crowd. He has a smile of his face. This man is the mayor of Foosha Village, also known as Mayor Woop Slap.
"Welcome back Garp-san, it a good thing to have you back here. Now please educate your grandson before he bring shame on the village. He keeps screaming "I am going to become the Pirate King." Mayor Woop Slap exclaims in an angry one but everyone knows it's just a front.
"Hahaha, No grandson of mine will ever become a pirate. They will all become strong marines when they grow up." Garp says it with a threating tone as he slowly cracks his knuckles. Kaen follows Garp as they reach the Party's Bar where they see 2 people talking to each other. One was woman who looked quite young, around 21 years old along with a small black haired 8-9 year old child. Kaen recognized the women to be Makino and the boy to be Luffy. Makino is a young woman with brown eyes and black hair (dark green in the anime) that goes up to just above her shoulders. Luffy was even wearing his iconic straw hat not knowing that hat once belonged to the Late Pirate King "Gol D Roger".
"Makino-nee, I am going to become the Pirate King like I promised Shanks." Luffy says in a loud voice making Makino smile looked at him endearingly at him. (Mind you this is a year after Shanks came here and before he met Ace and Sabo). Kaen moved back a little as he saw Garp roll his sleeves down and crack his knuckles. He quickly moves his fist back and then smashes it down on his head. Luffy falls of his chair and with eyes looks back.
"Grand...Grandpa, how....why are you here." Luffy says as he was startled and frightened.
"You won't become a pirate when you grow up. You will be a marine like I and Kaen are, understood." Garp roars in anger but Luffy who is an idiot or brave(mostly idiotic) has a different reply.
"Marine? No, I want to be a pirate. I want to be the greatest pirate king!'' Luffy says with strong conviction making Garp and Kaen both look at him for a second. unfortunately, this was not the answer Garp was looking so he started to beat Luffy up again. Kaen and Makino both giggled at the comedic interaction between Grandson and Grandpa.
"Alight Brat, today you will be meeting your brothers. Kaen come here." Garp says in a serious voice as he piques the curiosity of Luffy. Kaen goes toward Luffy and reaches his hand out for a handshake.
"Hi Luffy, I am Kaen your brother. Nice to meet you squirt." Kaen tells him in a teasing tone making Luffy get a bit angry.
"I am not a squirt. I am going to be the greatest pirate king and everybody will know me." Luffy says in a hyper voice as he punches toward Kaen. To his surprise, Kaen splits in black flames and the flames stitch him back.
"Ahh, what was that." Luffy asks after being startled.
"I ate a devil fruit like yourself but my mine is different. It allows me to become, control and create black flames." Kaen replies after laughing.
"Sugoi nii-chan, that is so cool." Luffy says in an amazed tone with stars in his eyes. A huge sweat drop can seen on the back of Kaen as he gets a bit unnerved from Luffy's stare.
"Ahh, it was my fault for leaving you in Foosha Village. I shall take you to a place of my friend. Now come on." Garp says in an aggravated tone as people can sense annoyance in his voice. Both Luffy and Kaen sense so they keep quiet about pirate business instead tell each other about their lives. Kaen admits he is not blood-related to Luffy or Garp but Luffy exact words made him almost tear-up. "Doesn't matter, Grandpa said you are my brother and you treat me as a little brother. Therefore, you are my elder brother but I am the one who will become the pirate king." Kaen laughs at the stupidly of his words but feels warm at his words. After 3 hours of walking but in Luffy's case on his grandpa's shoulder, they see a cabin with the sign for the infamous Mountain Bandits. A boy is seen sitting on top of a tree as he looks down at them. Kaen secretly sighs and whispers "Ace" in his heart
