Are You Stalking Me?

His eyes don't show he is lying, that means he is telling the truth when he says he doesn't know who I am but how is that possible? How could he not remember me or our past? What did they do to him? Will he not remember me forever?

At that moment a thousand and millions of questions ran through Yelena's mind but no one was there to provide her with answers.

She has been living solely to reunite with him so what should she do now?

Yelena was in a trance that she did not see Caleb walk away when she did not say anything.

When she realised he was gone, she ran after him. She held his hand preventing him from walking away again.

"Do you reside in Shanghai or are just visiting...,"

"Stop hitting on me because you are not my type of woman... In fact kind and gentlewomen are not my type. I love the fierce type of lady and you are nothing close to fierce so stay away from me," Caleb said as he roughly push her hand away. He began walking again.

Even though you don't recognize me, I know that you are my Riley and I will not give up until you recognize me. I will make you love me again even though you can't recall our past.

Yelena stood there and stare at his departing back. While she was feeling very optimistic at the moment, Caleb felt so thrilled that Yelena wasn't tailing him again.

"What a nuisance she is," Caleb continued going to his destination.

Thirty minutes later, Caleb sitting at a table turned around to face his back when his sharp nose perceive a familiar smell. He couldn't mask his surprise when he got a glimpse of the lady's smiling face.

"Why is it you again?" Caleb asked loudly, his voice attracting the attention of others. Even the one sitting in front of him was surprised to see his friend act this way.

"Are you stalking me?" Caleb asked angrily.

"Stalking you?" Yelena asked giving him the innocent girl look. "This is a restaurant, I came to eat here. Did you perhaps think you are the reason I am here?" Yelena asked resisting the urge to laugh out loud.

Of course, she found this outdoor restaurant because of the tracker she planted on his clothes earlier but how could she dare to admit it when he had already concluded her to be a crazy lady earlier.

"Do you know her?" The guy sitting on the same table with Caleb asked, his gaze focused on the lady he couldn't recognize.

"She is the lady I saved from a group of vampires. The problem is that she is crazy," Caleb brought back his attention to the guy in a grey casual long sleeve shirt sitting in front of him.

"She is crazy?... But nothing looks crazy about her," Stanley who has already examined Yelena from head to toe said.

"Is it everybody who looks normal that are in their right frame of mind? Believe me when I said she is a psycho," Caleb said as he picked up the glass of wine and sipped from it.

Yelena stood up and approach the men's table. "I can hear all you said ok. I am not deaf".

"Hi, my name is Yelena Chu. It's a pleasure to meet such a handsome man like you," Yelena said in her most melodic tone while staring at Stanley.

"Are you talking to him or me?" Stanley asked pretending as though he did not know Yelena was talking to him.

"Who is he?...,"

"You...," Caleb did not know the perfect words to scold the lady he finds very annoying.

"My name is Stanley Kingsley and that is my friend Caleb Lincoln. He might be a little cold sometimes but believe me he isn't a bad person," Stanley said as he shook Yelena's extended hand.

"What a beautiful voice and a nice name you have there. You are also very handsome," Yelena complimented in her most melodic voice. The way she smile so beautifully at Stanley made Caleb frown.

"You are making me blush with your compliments. I am so happy you think of me so highly," Stanley remarked as he stole a glance at his best friend to see his reaction.

"You are nothing like a guy I know who says nothing but harsh words...,"

"I hope that is not me you are referring to?" Caleb said, glaring at the innocent looking lady standing close to him.

"I am happy you know yourself," Yelena snapped at him.

She really wants to know what happened to him that made him forget her and their deep love but she knows she won't get anything out of the temperamental guy in front of him if she acts all soft and docile.

"You...,"

"Miss Yelena, you can sit with us," Stanley who knew that his friend will not let the matter slide deliberately prevented him from talking.

"Who said she can do so?" Caleb instead of facing his friend threw a murderous glance at the lady who seemed not to care about his fierce expression.

Yelena ignored his daring glares and sat down beside Stanley.

"You are such a gentleman...,"

"Stop flirting with my friend because you are not good enough for him," Caleb who hates how Yelena was talking to Stanley like they were very close.

"And who are you to say whether I am good enough for him or not, you are not his father or are you?" Yelena asked harshly.

"If you are jealous that I am not into you then say it instead of lashing out at me...,"

"Why will I be jealous of you? You are not my type...,"

"Can you guys stop bickering at each other? If I didn't know that you recently met I would have thought you both are lovers because of the way you both are acting," Stanley scolded the two angry people quarrelling.

"No way!" The two chorused.
