Body Cleansing Technique

"Mr. Shaun what's so funny'' Isaiah asked turning his head sideways.

''Who would've thought a child in a small village would have such a rare affinity'' Shaun said roaring with laughter.

One must remember that you could use any element if you had even a tiny bit of affinity with it but it would be hundreds if not thousands of times harder than controlling your main element.

Shaun would feel bad if he left a young man with such potential to rot in a small village. He thought carefully about what to do next. Shaun himself wasn't even an official mage yet so teaching him real magic was out of the book. After a couple minutes of silence Shaun asked. ''How old are you currently.''

''I'm 7 years old'' Isaiah spoke.

''𝘚𝘰 𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵''. At least those rich spoiled brats wont have an extreme head start.

''Hey brat you said you wanted to learn magic right''?

''The most I can teach you is how to control mana internally'' Shaun spoke. ''Until your at least 8 years of age you won't be able to use magic externally. ''Thing is I can't wait for you to turn 8 as I'm currently on a mission''.

''I can at most stay in this village for a couple more days before I have to leave so lets make the most of the remaining time''.

After saying this Shaun and Isaiah both went outside the village and to a clearing in the forest.

''First things first, if you want to use magic you must feel the mana in your body''.

''Concentrate on your body''.

''Imagine a little ball of darkness right in the center of your chest''.

After a couple minutes of concentration Isaiah imagined a ball of darkness in the area right under his heart. The ball was very fickle and looked as if it would disappear anytime but nonetheless it was there. Isaiah's usual cold expression was broken with a smile as he managed to do it.

Shaun seeing the smile knew Isaiah was successful in his task.

''Good stay in that position until you are able to familiarize yourself with that feeling''.

After almost 30 minutes passed by Shaun told Isaiah to stop and started explaining the second part.

The second part entailed interacting with the ball of darkness and trying to expand it. This was the hardest part for most as instead of just inspecting the ball you had to interact with it. The quicker you did it the better as it showed that you were much more sensitive to mana than other people. The average time it took people to grasp it was anywhere from 10 hours to an entire day.

Shaun gave Isaiah some tips such as

''Imagine it as part of your body and not as an outside entity''.

After saying that he left.

Shaun though of grabbing it but with what hand? He quickly let go of that idiotic thought and recalled the words Shaun said to him.

After all this wasn't like trying to control your hand as you already knew how to control your hand from birth. Learning how to control the ball of darkness was going to take some time and Isaiah knew that so he took his time to explore different ways to possibly control it....

After about 7 hours Isaiah felt he was on the right track as the ball of darkness expanded by a little bit. It wasn't really noticeable but to Isaiah who had been looking at the ball for the past couple of hours he saw the change quite easily.

After making sure that it was true Isaiah ran to the clinic to tell Shaun with a wide smile on his face.

Shaun hearing that he succeeded in only 7 hours was a little shocked as this showed that Isaiah truly had a talent for magic.

''Hahaha very well I shall tell you the last step of the body cleansing technique''.

''The last will take you at least more than half a year to complete as this part requires you to expand to ball of darkness until if fully covers your entire body''.

Isaiah was nodding while he listened to Shaun speak.

''After you are done with expanding the ball your body will expel all the impurities that you have accumulated up till this point.

''Sadly this is the most I can teach you''.

Isaiah was a little saddened after hearing that.

''Will I ever see you again''? Isaiah asked with a sad tone.

''That is what I was going to explain next'' Shaun said laughing.

''If you still chose to become stronger after all that I have taught you your best choice is to go to the Royal Academy'' Shaun said.
