Did you notice that during breakfast, Gohan sensed my power increase? Well, I believe it's because he can't feel Ki, right?! It must be his instinct, which was properly trained.

As for my ability to measure my power level or sense Ki, well, that's easy. I received a processing capacity similar to Tensura's Manas.

What is MANAS or the Divine Wisdom Core?

The Divine Wisdom Core (MANAS) is a system that allows Rimuru to access a vast amount of information and magical abilities in the blink of an eye. With this ability, Rimuru can analyze anything, from the chemical composition of a material to the strength of an enemy, allowing him to make quick and strategic decisions in battle.

Moreover, the Divine Wisdom Core allows Rimuru to create new magical abilities easily, as well as enhance existing ones. This allows him to be a more effective leader and make wiser decisions for the community of monsters he governs.

In short, the Divine Wisdom Core is a very powerful ability that enhances Rimuru's intelligence and skill in battle and governance, making him one of the strongest and smartest characters in the series.

So creating an ability to sense Ki, or, in other words, creating a skill.

[Ki Sense]! [Ki Manipulation]! [Ki Enhancement]!

Grandpa Gohan told me to sit in a comfortable position for meditation so I could 'Awaken the Ki.' Obviously, I didn't mention that I was already capable of such an ability.

'Sit down, my boy, in a comfortable position, as this might take a while,' said Grandpa Gohan, clearly thinking it would take some time for me to learn to sense my own internal Ki.

'Tell me, Ethan, do you know what Ki is?' asked Grandpa Gohan.

I sit near our house. I see Goku almost eating dirt. I look at Grandpa Gohan and respond.

'Ki is an energy that all living beings possess,' Ethan said, almost affirming it as an absolute fact.

'Correct, my boy. But not just that. Ki is the vital energy that flows through all living beings and can be used to enhance physical strength and special abilities. Ki is an energy that can be controlled and concentrated through martial arts practice and specific techniques,' stated Grandpa Gohan.

'There are various Ki techniques in Dragon Ball, each with its own characteristics and effects. One of those techniques I learned from my Master Roshi is:

Kamehameha: a powerful strike that involves concentrating Ki in the hands and releasing it in the form of a blue energy wave,' said Jiji.

'Just watch,' Grandpa Gohan said then.

'Kaaaa---' A ball of Ki forms in both hands.

'ME--' An increase in energy flow.

'Haaaa--' The Ki ball's density increases.

'Meeee-----' An explosive increase to the point where it's almost about to explode but still remains stable for handling.

'HAAAAAAAA!' A Kamehameha wave ejects from his hands, which are connected in a shell shape, and is released toward a small pile of rocks.

ZAP! Whoosh! BOOOOM! BOOOOM! BOOOOM!

The mountain of rocks explodes, and as you can see, I just witnessed one of the most iconic moves from my other childhood. Now I can use [Kamehameha Wave] acquired! Successfully.

I stand up and take a stance. My grandpa looks at me, amused.

'My boy, it took me an entire year to be able to...'

'Kaaaa---' A ball of Ki forms in both hands.

'ME--' An increase in energy flow.

'Haaaa--' The Ki ball's density increases.

'Meeee-----' An explosive increase to the point where it's almost about to explode but still remains stable for handling.

'HAAAAAAAA!' A Kamehameha wave ejects from my hands, which are connected in a shell shape, and is released toward a hill farther away, to see the damage.

ZAP! Whoosh! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

I look at Grandpa Gohan and notice his eyes are completely wide open. Then he strokes his mustache, almost as if he's thinking wisely, like a Xianxia master. And then he speaks.

'Reasonable,' said Grandpa Gohan. I wanted to laugh but held it in as much as I could, realizing I wouldn't laugh if I spoke. So I asked if we could spar, that way I could analyze his fighting style ('Copy'). I matched my power level with his. He assumed the Turtle School stance.

I, on the other hand, could only recall the images from the cartoon of my past life and martial artists from my past life, trying to combine the movements for my fight. Some would say 'Jack of all trades, master of none,' but good at fighting.

With that in mind, I crouch, taking advantage of my short stature to deliver lower blows. Then I launch myself like a bullet toward Gohan.

Whoosh!

Gohan simply jumps to the side and dodges, throwing a right punch toward my head.

As I launched myself, of course, thanks to Manas, I could see all the movements, analyze them, and take the best countermeasure.

Swish!

I slightly lean to the side and dodge, taking advantage of this opening, and try to sweep him off his feet!

Gohan jumps, already launching a direct kick at my head.

Taking advantage of the movement's momentum, I lean back with my body, supporting myself with my arms on the ground, and launch a double kick toward Gohan's body while he's still in the air.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

From here, a sequence of blows begins that would seem impeccable to anyone not versed in martial arts, one that any fanatic and enthusiast would go crazy over. It's worth noting that just moments ago, Ethan destroyed a hill, but he's holding back to learn everything his Grandpa can teach him.
