Twenty-Four

Vegeta was pushed to his limits as he faced the full power of Toppo. He fought with his ssj blue form.

The battle was intense and amusing to watch. Vegeta was on the brink when he broke through his limits and achieved a superior blue form. A few moments later and Toppo was defeated. I stood and clapped for him.

'Well done Vegeta! Bravo!'

He looked at me with a weird expression. I couldn't really tell what he was thinking but he ignored me.

'Toppo has been eliminated. Universe 11 will now be erased. And with that, Belmod and the rest disappeared.

'Congratulations warriors of Universe 7.'

The Grand Priest summoned the dragon from the Super Dragon Balls.

'Make your wish.'

'Go on Vegeta. You defeated the last enemy so it's yours.'

Vegeta nodded slightly and stepped forward.

'Bring back all the universes that were erased in this tournament.'

'Vegeta! How selfless!'

He ignored me and stared at the Grand Priest who smiled and relayed his wish to the dragon.

We were all back in Universe 7 but I could feel that the others had returned.

'What a day. Well, I'm gonna be leaving now guys so…bye.'

And with that, I once more returned to Planet Vampa and back to my training. A month went by when I had some unexpected visitors.

9 energies appeared on Vampa which I went to meet.

When I arrived, I saw Gohan accompanied by Vegeta, Goku, Piccolo, Whis, Vados, Toppo, Belmod and Champa.

'What a bizarre group! What are you guys all doing here?'

They looked at me with cold expressions. Gohan broke the silence and spoke.

'I had Whis show me your life, teacher.'

'Oh. Were you impressed?'

'You killed a child.'

'It was necessary. Not like I enjoyed it. Besides, there are plenty of child killers who do. Why not deal with them?'

'None are as powerful as you. You have acted carelessly your whole life. For the sake of the universe, you must be destroyed.'

'You wanna destroy your teacher? Just when I thought we were friends. You brought this lot to help you?'

'I did. I know your power, teacher. This much is the bare minimum to face you.'

'You know my power? Hehe. Let's see the truth to that. Very well. I am now the enemy. Kill me or I will destroy everything.'

Belmod and Champa were the first to rush at me.

'Two gods against little old me? I've killed a god before you know.'

'Why do you think I'm here?! You killed my brother!'

Champa fought with fury. With Belmod assisting him it took more than a little effort to subdue them both.

'Now!'

Gohan yelled and both of them retreated. As soon as they lept away, Toppo and Gohan took their place.

'Tch. So this is how we're fighting? You got some brains on you, my student.'

He ignored me and fought me with the full power of ultra instinct. Toppo fought with the might of a god. This was more difficult then I thought it'd be. Just as I was about to move in for the kill, they both retreated.

'Damn it Gohan. You really do know me. We spent so much time together so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.'

As they retreated, Belmod and Champa once more took their place. This method of attack and retreat slowly had me using more energy than I intended.

I used ultra instinct against the two gods but before I could kill them Gohan and Toppo would join the fray. It was 4 on one and it wasn't easy. Gohan was the greatest threat with the other 3 making it very difficult for me to just focus on him.

'Doesn't matter how many of you there are! I'll kill you all!'

I felt my heartbeat quicken as started to enjoy the fight. I put my all into dealing with these them.

Soon enough, 4 enemies became 3 after I managed to kill Belmod. Gohan lost his arm while Toppo and Champa had run out of energy and were unconscious. Gohan retreated holding his arm.

'Good attempt, all of you.'

'You still have us to face!'

Goku yelled.

'You? Don't make me laugh.'

I had burned a lot of my reserves but I'm sure I could handle Goku and Vegeta.

Goku reached into his sash and put on an earring.

'Hmm? Not good!'

I rushed at them but the fusion had already begun.

From the light, Vegito emerged and met my charge.

'Damn it.'

He was strong. Very strong. He wasted no time and turned ssj blue. My energy was already low I could no longer keep up Ultra Instinct. I had no choice but to use the Kaio Ken.

'Kaio Ken!'

He too used it and we both fought maniacally. The fight lasted only a few minutes before Vegito's transformation came undone. Goku and Vegeta fell weakly onto the ground.

'Whew. That was dangerous. Almost died.'

I turned to an injured Gohan who stood with Whis and Vados.

'It was a smart strategy but in the end, it was nothing before me. Now it's time to say goodbye, my student.'

I slowly stood and before I could approach him I felt a beam enter my back and exit my chest.

'W-what?'

I turned and saw a panting Piccolo pointing two fingers in my direction.

'Piccolo?'

'Yes, teacher. As I told you I had Whis show me your life. I saw the wish you made. You wished for immunity from destruction or erasure from the Gods and Zeno. But you neglected mortals.'

I collapsed onto my knees as all my energy ran out. Blood flowed profusely as I faced Gohan.

'Mortals?'

'Yes, teacher. You believed only the deities would be of any threat to you. This was your mistake.'

'My mistake? Heh...guess you're...right...well done...Gohan.'

I fell on my face as I felt my mind slow.

'Hey, RoBro? What's gonna happen to me?'

[Answer: Hosts bodily functions will cease in 15 seconds.]

'So death? What about after that?'

[Answer: Unknown]

'So even you don't know? I see. Will you be with me at least?'

[Answer: Unknown]

'I hope you are. So tired. I'm gonna sleep for a bit.'
