Episode 4: Rich Bandboys

I flashed a smile at the hoard of school girls standing in front of me. Some girls were even making calls.

"Ya! Heo Ji Soo, bring 300,000 won to the train station. Now!"

"Omma, please. Just lend me 400,000 won. You don't have to give me pocket money for the next two months..."

Lisa shook her head at all these girls going crazy for one autograph of a 24 year old man.

"I'm selling for 600,000 won to Kim Mi Soon...anyone else?"

Many were silent and thinking now. They checked their pockets for money and not before long one girl called out, "800,000!"

Lisa laughed and nodded. She waited for a while but no one answered so she folded the note neatly and was about to hand it to her when yet another voice spoke.

But this wasn't a girl's.

Lisa's eyes widened as she looked up at a tall boy staring down at her and the other girls through his sunglasses and black mask.

He looked at the other girls around him, "Kids. This is a random lady in a mask trying to sell money for more money. Don't you think this is a scam?"

Lisa gritted her teeth in anger, "Who do you think you are?"

He met Lisa's eyes and she heard a smirk, "Don't believe street ladies, girls, your parents will be very disappointed."

Some of the girls shook their head and walked away.

Lisa showed the note to them, "But look! This is the real thing! You won't regret it!"

But the girls trusted the man more for some reason and they walked away leaving Lisa with nothing.

"Why would you do that, you jerk?" Lisa screamed at him. "You're also a person in a mask. Why did they believe you?"

He shrugged and dipped his sunglasses down his nose and took a look at the note.

"Woah, you were right. This is actually V's signature."

Lisa rolled her eyes, "Yeah thanks to you I just lost potential buyers."

He laughed, "Tricked you miss!"

"Huh?"

The man grabbed the note from Lisa's hand and she screamed. He lifted his other hand and held her back, "Don't worry. I convinced the girls to walk away because I wanted this note all to myself."

Lisa raises an eyebrow, "How much are you willing to pay for it then?"

He put his sunglasses back on and fished out his expensive looking wallet.

"Two million won."

Lisa's jaw dropped and glanced at the 1000 won note in her hand. The man laughed, "Don't make me laugh, this is actually cheap. Autographs, especially V's is worth much more. You're making me wonder where you even got this from..." he mumbled, staring at the note in glee.

Pressing the 2 million won worth of cash in her hands, the man walked away.

Lisa turned to him and called, "Hey!"

He turned around and looked at her from under his sunglasses, "Yes?"

"What's your name?" Lisa asked, walking up to him. For some weird reason, she found him familiar and quite striking with his height and deep voice. She could see his hair properly and it was too styled, too amazingly blonde and shiny for a normal Korean man.

He smiled and looked around for a second and took off his sunglasses. "I'm only telling you because you met V," he whispered, waving the autograph money in the air.

Lisa waited and looked at him in awe at those familiar eyes.

"Now you can tell your friends Chanyeol wished you good morning!" he winked, put his glasses back on and trotted away, waving the money in the air.

The 2 million won in her hand suddenly felt so heavy. At this point, she thought she was in a dream. Dazed, she walked back to the train counter and bought a new card, chucking the rest of the money in her pocket and got inside the second train to the company, even though she was probably late now.

"I...just...saw...Chanyeol..." she whispered to herself and looked around at the other people in the train who were standing with blank faces. She pinched herself again, this time too see if she was actually in real life.

The little boy who had hit her entered the train and sat opposit to Lisa, licking his cherry flavored lollipop.

"You!" she yelled, pointing at the brat. The boy looked up and giggled before jumping back down and going to his mother. Lisa was angry for a second but then she calmed down. If that boy hadn't hit her, all this wouldn't have happened.

Lisa laughed to herself, "I was always so clumsy."

The train came to a stop at her destination and she got out along with the morning crowd. She had nothing in her hand except the 2 million won and a brand new train card. Even her interview files were in that bag.

"Should I even go to that interview?" she asked herself in guilt. She barely had anything to live by now. If she needed to survive on her own, she had to try.

So she made her way to BigHit empty handed, but her head high up. Everything of hers was gone but that arrogant nature was still there. It might have been harmful sometimes but right now, that pride was the only thing that kept her going.

She entered the building through the special entrance made for interview candidates. The place was empty...

Her heart dropped as she saw a single sign pasted on the main room door.
