Tiago's POV

"He what?!!" I yelled over the phone to Franco , who just kept mute.

"Tell me what the fvck he did!" I growled angrily.

"He called that he isn't interested in working with us anymore"

" Arghh" I yelled, smashing the flower vase on the floor.

" Boss , should i-"

I hung up immediately , flinging my phone to the bed. I ran my hands through my hair slowly pacing the room.

"Shit" I cussed.

If Ander withdraws , he's surely going to tell the authorities about everything and bring down all I have worked hard for.

"Why didn't I think about this," I muttered .

He must I've found out I had something to do with his mother. Urgh !! I'm so going to kill that person who dared rat me out.

I grabbed my phone to call Ander when the door burst open . Miranda rushed in with a worried look. She furrowed her brows as she scanned the room .

"Tiago?What's going on here?" She called worriedly.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" She half yelled seeing the broken vase. I only sighed. Miranda's the least of my worries now.

"I'm talking to you Tiago! " She yelled again , snatching my phone from me. I snapped my head to look at her as she glared at me angrily.

"You are supposed to be having a nap not whatever it is you're doing"

"Look Miranda , I have better things to do than sleep , my business is about to go down the drain , someone is about to rat me out to the cops" I half yelled. Her angry expression was replaced with a slightly calm one.

"Who's that?"

"Franco called me , Ander is trying to withdraw , that bastard ! He thinks he can get away with it" I fumed.

" Let Franco take care of him , you need to rest , I have Hilary searching for the female who attacked you the day before" she said calmly , dropping my phone on the table as she led me to sit.

"No! I want to finish him off myself"

Miranda sighed, handing me a glass of water.

" Don't stress yourself Tiago, Franco will take care of him , I'll see to that " she assured .

I sighed. I guess I'll have to *rest* but I'll still finish Ander off myself , no one can stop me , not even Miranda. Her phone rang out and she glanced at the caller.

"It's Hilary, maybe she has a lead on the assassin," she said .

" I'll come back to check on you" she added and walked out.

I sighed. Finding that assassin is the second thing on my list now . I have to get Ander. Why on Earth did he think of backsliding? I'm sure he knows he's not safe with whoever side he's on now , because I'll get him no matter what!.

Cathy's POV

"You're finally awake, " Amber said immediately as I walked into the kitchen. I grabbed an apple and took a bite.

"I thought you were going to sleep the whole day," she added with a snort. I rolled my eyes at her. I do not have the time to start exchanging words with her. I spent the night thinking of Gael's Father's offer again.

I sat at the vanity mirror applying some cosmetics to my face . My phone rang and I glanced at the caller. It was Gael's Dad.

I smiled and picked it up. I placed the phone on the table and continued with my face.

"Cathy" his voice came on.

"Pa?"

"I want you to do something for me"

"I want you to monitor every of Liza's movement, find out everything about her , her weakness and her strength, what we can use to take her and her company down"

" I'm sure you know she's out for our company and we've suffered so much for it to go to waste"

" Pa?, Why do I have to do this?, You could easily tell your men and they'll get it done as fast as possible"

He chuckled.

" I know what I'm doing Cathy, this is just a strategy, it's not just for our good but yours too , think about it "

I seriously don't know what to do. Should I go on with his offer?. I hate Liza! ,Yeah I hate her! . After that issue at the restaurant, my resentment for her increased. I'll do anything to bring her down . It's obviously a win for me too but then what has it got to do with me getting Gael?!.

I sighed and disposed of the apple core into the waste bin.

"Why are you all dressed up ? Where to?" Amber asked , sipping from her coffee.

"Tiago's house , I'm going to see him"

"Shouldn't you have gone yesterday? "

" I was going to , but his manager said to come today,that he needed privacy, like I'm some stranger" I rolled my eyes.

" Really?, What did Gael's Mom say then? "

" She obviously was not there "

" Anyway , I'm leaving now , see you later" I added.

"Okay bye"

I grabbed my bag from the table and headed out. I got into my car and drove off.

"Gael?" I called with a wide smile , heading towards where he was standing.

A maid whispered something to him and bowed before walking away. He turned to look at me , his eyes scanning me in surprise.

"What are you doing here?" He asked , rather too coldly.

" I came to visit father, I heard about the attack" I replied .

" Okay" he shrugged and made to walk away but I held his hands.

"What?" He snapped, yanking his hands away. I flinched slightly but quickly put on a calm expression.

"Why'd you keep doing this to me?"

" I just want to help you , I just want to know you Gael but you keep discarding me" I sighed , running my hands over my neatly styled ponytail. He scoffed.

"I don't need your help Cath , neither do I want to know you , so stay away , you have a business with my dad and not me , learn to stay on that lane" he warned and walked away .

" Urgh" I half yelled , clenching my fists angrily. I glanced at the maids who were peeping from the kitchen. One look from me and they hurriedly returned to whatever they were doing.

' I want you and I'm going to get you Gael, no matter how much you push me away '

' This girl never gives up and what she wants'

I brushed back my hair that was falling out of place and put on a convincing smile before walking towards the staircase.
