The inevitable end to that conversation
The desire in his voice only added to the significance of the moment Summer decided to have with him. He had the palm of his hand pressed against her cheek now and she tilted her face into it without opening her eyes, his breath hitched when he brushed his thumb against her lips seeing them part under his tender caresses.
She wanted him to kiss her.
Summer knew that it was selfish of her, she had nothing to lose. But for some reason and for the second time in the same day, she wanted to indulge in this feeling, she opened her eyes which were two warm pools of water, and conveyed her desire through them.
Brown eyes devoured her lips. But that was all that he allowed himself to do. And the second she started wondering why, his eyes drifted down her hand on her lap, he held it and pulled it up then pressed it against his chest.
