Billionaire's Fake Bride

Melvin Williams and Katherine Walker have been inseparable, navigating life's ups and downs since birth. Their bond seems unbreakable until a misunderstanding throws everything into chaos. When Melvin proudly shows Katherine the engagement ring he bought for his girlfriend during a dinner at a bustling restaurant, onlookers jump to the wrong conclusion, believing he's proposed to Katherine. The news spreads like wildfire, and the best friends are suddenly thrust into the spotlight as an engaged couple. Rather than correct the mistake and risk embarrassing themselves and their families, Melvin and Katherine hatch a daring plan: they'll go along with the fake engagement, enjoying the charade and planning an explosive, staged breakup at an upcoming family function. As they dive deeper into their ruse, navigating a whirlwind of congratulations and wedding plans, they must confront their feelings and the boundaries of their friendship. What begins as a simple deception becomes a test of their loyalty and love, leading to a climax no one sees coming.

The beach

I pull my vehicle into a parking slot at the Venice Beach parking lot. My phone rings just as I get out of the car, and I peek at the caller ID while doing so.

The image of Alanie appears on the screen, and I immediately answer my phone.

Me: Good morning, Alanie.

Alanie: We are close to the lifesaver shed and are currently seated on the stairs. Both Melvin and his brother, as well as his girlfriend, are present here. Why did you fail to inform me that they would be present?

When I finished talking to you on the phone, I called them. It was important that Melvin did not believe I was trying to avoid him by not going home after work. The blackout would have been brought to his attention, and he would have become concerned about me.

I chuckle to myself.

However, she is right. When it comes to me, Melvin is protective, but only of the things that he is personally aware of.

I remove my handbag from the passenger seat and place it on my shoulder, making sure to keep it secure. After locking the car, I walk toward the shed where the Life Savers organization is, where everyone awaits me.

The first person I see is Melvin. When he turns around, a smile appears on his otherwise flawless face.

I rush back to him and give him a bear embrace. "I'm glad you're here."

Melvin lets out a chuckle. "Thank you for inviting me." He gives Leo and his girlfriend a glance. "I was afraid I would be forced to spend the entire day with those two people. They give off the impression of being in love. "Leo is unable to tear his gaze away from her."

When they were at Melvin's the other day, I observed them doing that. It is, however, sweet.

Melvin begins to recede. "I brought your bikini. It is already in the bag if you want to make a change.

Towards the bag, I make my way. "I'm going to get changed."

Alanie comes by and approaches me. "I'm coming with you."

Upon arriving at the changing rooms, I put on my white bikini, and we continued our journey. I changed into a pair of board shorts before leaving the changing room.

During the time that Alanie and I are leaving, we hear a couple of wolf whistles.

Melvin stares at the other guys. Stop talking. They have already been taken." Alanie and I wait for him to approach us. He encircles me with his arms and kisses the crown of my head before releasing his grip.

Someone is envious of the attention that I have received from a few unknown individuals.

Alanie takes a glance at the other guys. "They are adorable. I intend to visit you. In preparation for approaching them, she gives her lips a quick lick and tosses her hair a few times.

I gaze at Taylor and Walden. The two of you had better keep a close check on her. You are to watch over her and keep her safe.

"Yes, Ma'am." Taylor gives me a salute.

A shrewd jerk.

I take Melvin along with me to the beach. I place my towel on the ground. After removing the sunscreen lotion from its container, I extend it to Melvin. "Can you please put this on my back?"

"Sure." He takes the bottle from me. Before massaging it into my skin, he squirts some more lotion into my back and then massages it in.

I experience a sense of calmness while he applies the sunscreen.

An audible groan emanates from my mouth.

"Baby, you need to stop that."

Because it is so satisfying, I am unable to resist doing it. This is something that he is skilled at doing. One more groan begins to escape.

"I'm done," explains Melvin.

His boner is visible through the shorts he is wearing when I turn around and look at him. My pupils become more dilated.

Melvin looks around him. After saying, "Shit," Leo begins to giggle. "Brother, you need to control yourself around, Kathy."

"Shut up." I watch him walk farther into the water until he dives under a wave and makes his way onto it. He dashes over to the water. A few seconds later, he makes his appearance.

After applying sunscreen, I dash over to the water and get in the water.

Even though the water is icy, I start to shiver. As I plunge beneath the wave, I see it getting closer to me.

I swim over to Melvin, a few meters before me, and offer him my assistance. He is looking at me. "After this, I won't have to take a chilly shower. The ocean is available to me for that."

I chuckle to myself. "That's not my fault."

We were able to swim over to Leo and his girlfriend.

When I return to the shore, I notice Alanie walking toward the water with several other men.

Out of the five males, three of them carry surfboards.

I believe that they are going to use their surfing skills to win her over. He is unaware that Alanie has a strong aversion to surfers.

When I was younger, Mom would tell me that she did not see why it was considered a sport. It was nothing more than a competition between males to determine who was superior to the other. She stated that it was such a turning point.

At this very moment, she is reconsidering her statements. She sees one of the boys from the group as he stands up on his board and is being transported to the shore.

"Katherine?" Melvin has a question.

I say this while turning towards him. "Hmmm,"

"What are you thinking about?"

A grin appears on my face as I look at you. "I was thinking about all the times that Alanie told me she hated surfing." In her direction, I point. For now, she is observing three of the five guys she is surfing with. I am curious as to which one she is interested in more.

Melvin lets out a chuckle. When it comes to your sister, who knows? When it came to dealing with boys at school, she could never conclude. She has not changed all that much.

He is very likely correct.

As Alanie grew up, he frequently had three guys around our house every month. She would move on to the next guy as soon as she became weary of the one she was with.

You're likely concluding that she's a slut, but Alanie never had a style like that. She shared with me that she intended to preserve her own life for the man who would eventually become the father of her children, but she never actually met the man. To put it another way, she is still competing. There is a possibility that she did meet the one, but she was unable to recognize it.

One particular guy has been seen with her very frequently throughout the years. She constantly reminds us that they are buddies. I believe there is a spark between them, but Alanie cannot recognize it because he is too blind.

The only thing I can do is pray that she comes before the guy moves on permanently.

"Katherine," Melvin screams out in confusion.

When I turn to face him, I notice a wave heading in my area. When I plunge under the wave, the current carries me away and causes me to turn around. It is as if I am currently inside of a washing machine. I make my way to the water's surface, observing yet another enormous wave crashing, and then I dive back for more.

I have to go through this process three more times before I can surface without being slammed by another wave. For some reason, the water is seeping into my mouth, and I start coughing. I use the back of my hand to remove the wetness from my eyes.

Melvin swims straight toward me. "We should head in."

Indeed, we ought to. My body is experiencing discomfort because I have sand in a location where it shouldn't be.

To reach the shore, we swim.

Alanie makes his way over to me. "Kathy, are you feeling okay? The waves slammed you, and I witnessed it happen.

"I'm doing good. The moment has come for me to change my clothes. Would you like to come, or are you keeping those boys entertained for longer?

Her head is shaken in shock. "I'm coming with you."

Alanie and I make our way to the changing room together. "What's the time?"

Taking my phone out of my bag, I call it. "3:30."

"Oh, my god. For dinner with Logan, I will be running behind schedule. There is no way that he will be happy. The sand is rapidly removed from her body as she dashes into the shower stall. "Can you take Taylor and Walden home?"

"I must not. Only two persons could fit inside the automobile that I drove.

"Would you be able to drive me home, and the boys could do the same with my car?"

"Okay,"
