Chapter 12: Progress

(PoV Haruki)

'Ughh, I can't feel my whole body... I think my bones are broken even though I used my beginner [Armament Haki] to have atleast an advantage but was quickly shown my place' I tried to get up from the wooden floor of the rundown dojo but was unable to do so.

Seeing that my attempts were futile, I decided to just watch Nikko's training with Chicken-sensei.

'Oh, Thanks [Great Sage], I expressed my gratitude towards my new quirk.

I was really excited when I finally get to experience having a proper quirk. During 5 years of my life, I experience nothing but being a lying quirkless man— or boy? But I finally get to experience some real superpowers!

I mean, having the ability to create quirks is a superpower and all but during my time alive I kept feeling envy towards those with cool quirks.

In a metaphorical way, my power is like a blank canvas waiting for someone to paint a beautiful picture on it, and the canvases of others are already pre-drawn, requiring only refinement to make their pictures more beautiful.

Watching my brother having trouble with his training sure is amusing, but it won't be long before the pride booster that is in his quirk that I now regret putting on as I remembered escanor's childhood and the amount of disrespects to everyone he fights.

I released a sigh as I still cannot move my body, I thought that now that I have a stronger body, training would be much easier but it only got harder!

I woke up feeling the best sleep I had since the dawn of creation, I couldn't remember anything in detail yesterday, but I still see vivid images popping in my head, like the time I kept crying while throwing up the food in my stomach that I didn't remember eating.

Me crying? No, I'm sure that it was just a dream, 'cause no way I would cry!

Huh? I didn't noticed it now, but somehow my body feels lighter and stronger?

I suddenly remembered something before another embarrassing dream came next to my mind

Third, The master's body has been cleared of any impurities that were dwelling inside the body.

And fourth, after analyzing the memories and desires of the master, I scoured through useful abilities that are possible to recreate with the remmaing quirk factor. I stumbled upon [Photographic Reflexes]which will take about more than 3 days to create//

The first and the last one caught my attention, the former was probably the old man's doing.

'Don't bother analyzing the first one, also I didn't know that you can create a quirk automatically! Why didn't I know of this ability huh!? You reported nothing of this when I asked you what you can do aside from the 5 sub-skills!' I began interrogating the voice inside my head

'I think I can move my arms now!' I tried to get up, not knowing that I still can't move my legs.

*Thud*

'*sigh* [Great Sage] how's the [Photographic Reflexes] coming along?' I asked since there's not much to do when you can't get up from the ground except contemplating life, and the mystery of the universe.

I smiled from ear to ear, as the thought of fully mastering sensei techniques is making me feel excitement beyond the I could imagine.

Now that I thought about it, why can't [Great Sage] just replicate [Photographic Reflexes] as she could just memorize and analyze my opponent's moves, so I asked about it to her.

Hours passed and now we are back at our house, terribly tired.

After eating dinner, Nikko and I plopped onto our bed, because we share a room, I saw him immediately fell asleep. I fought the urge to fall asleep, I remembered something I want to see first.

'[Great Sage], is the [Photographic Reflexes] done?' I asked

Memories suddenly came to me like floods, the recorded memories from earlier played through my mind, from a spar against Chicken-sensei to the fight between Aunt Elly and Chicken-sensei.

Thanks to [Great Sage] my head didn't hurt one bit as she is helping me process the information.

Moments later the recorded images stopped, then seconds later I did not feel any different from before.

'Hey [Great Sage] are you sure it's working?' I asked, but there were no reply.

'Hey I'm asking you'

'Huh? Why do I suddenly feel more sleepy?' that was the last thought I had before loosing consciousness.

—8:00 A.M.—

Currently I'm inside my house's trusty bathroom, brushing my teeth in front of the mirror.

I began to focus, and closed my eyes.

I focused on the flow of my basic [Armament Haki] slowly coating my whole right arm with it.

I opened my eyes slowly, I still haven't managed to get the advanced form of [Armament Haki] but I think I'm getting there slowly but surely. More importantly, I need to train my [Observation Haki] that I got after a few spars with Chicken-sensei.

I couldn't keep up with his movements before accidentally awakening my [Observation Haki] which to my surprised, didn't do much when up against him.

But I atleast know where his location is when sparring!

'Ah, right!' I silently exclaimed

'Hey [Great Sage]! Can you fix my lack of directions?' I asked, I've been wanting to fix my lack of directions even before reincarnation but still couldn't get my brain to fix it's behavior.

So, I always had to bring a map, except when I forget to bring a map. Leading to more problems for me to solve.

But with [Great Sage] here, She is practically my brain! Which means she can fix my very prominent con that has been stuck with me since 2 lifetimes ago!

'Why haven't I heard of this?!' I asked, my feelings towards my new creation is starting to take a down slide, as my patience is slowly running low.

I did my best to calm myself before coming downstairs to finally get my late breakfast. I slept an extra 2 hours today since it's currently Sunday so there is no school or training. Which means, once I finish my chores, I have a lot of free time available for me.

'Should I do some solo training again?'

No, Sensei said that when training with great intensity, you always gotta rest so the body could be fully healed, which in turn give a stronger physique. Just like gorillas when they decided to work out.

I put my hand onto my chin in a classic thinking pose. Moments later, I could not think of any activity for me to do so I decided to turn on the TV for the time being.

And guess what's on the TV? That's right another All Might clips. Which I watched for a while, I don't really care about being a hero, as long as that son of a bitch pays for it I would go through such lengths to find that bastard...

'Alright let's do some self reflecting first!'

If I want to find that bastard then the first thing I should search through is the underworld of this society where everyone indulges in on some illegal activities. And to do that, I need money... Tons of money.

Now there's only two things I had to do, and that is make a manga out of the anime that I know of, and pick which anime to make a manga out of.

I heard [Great Sage]'s voice in my head, reminding me to research through publishing companies. but I'll just leave that to the future me first.

'AH, shit! I forgot that I have no equipment, nor manga papers! Which means I can't work on it now!' I exclaimed.
