Pyro vs Cryo Part 2

Hunter, the fiery pyromancer, stood bathed in swirling flames, he's crimson hair a mane of wildfire. Every breath ignited the air around him, sizzling with intensity. Across the hallway stood Zera wearing a black and blue Guardian combat cloak still tattered and torn from her encounter with Silvana. Zera's gaze was aloof and piercing. Her ice-blue eyes narrowed, fixing intently on Hunter, a flurry of icy shards swirling menacingly around her. Frost began to encase her finger tips as she positioned herself to cast.

Zera whispered to her accomplice "I'll meet you there, I can handle this"

Before he exited through the window he had just smashed through.

"What's wrong Zera? out of ice cubes?" Hunter taunted, a feral grin splitting his face. With a swift motion, he released a torrent of fire, twisting and coiling like a serpent. The inferno raced toward Zera, eager to consume.

With a flick of her wrist, a wall of ice surged from the ground, rising to meet the firestorm. The flames collided with the frosted barrier, hissing furiously a clash of elements that echoed through the palace. Steam billowed, filling the corridor with a misty haze, obscuring their figures.

"I never did like you Hunter but who does? you're a joke of a Guardian" Zera declared, her voice steady as she raised his hands once more. She crafted icy shards that sliced through the steam like daggers, aimed directly at Hunter's chest.

Hunter dashed forward, spiraling an even bigger barrage of flame but Zera acted quickly and turned Hunters attacks against him, freezing the tips of his fingers mid-strike, causing him to grunt in surprise. A swift point of her finger sent more shards of ice darting toward his torso, but Hunter rolled aside just in time, setting fire to the frozen darts before they could touch him.

"Her projection is UNBELIEVABLE, definitely much more accurate then mine but this is come to expect from someone who landed a blow on the Grand Priestess" he thought.
