Cryo vs Astra Part 2

"Even? you're awfully arrogant Zera"

"Arrogance? is that right? I prefer confidence"

"Confidence means nothing without the skill to follow through"

"I'm confident BECAUSE I know I can follow through"

"Up until now you've been incredibly disappointing, I do wonder how you came to be a knight in the first place"

"Are you serious? ALL THAT BULLSHIT WAS PART OF MY COVER STORY! DO YOU THINK I WOULD EVER RISK MY LIFE SERVING THIS FUCKING KINGDOM? THIS REALM IS FILTH!! EVER SINCE I'VE ARRIVED MY LUNGS BURN FROM BREATHING THE SAME AIR AS YOU GOD FORSAKEN ELYSIUNS!!"

"Arrived?... arrived from where?"

"You poor creature...I pity you...you so blindly trust your Apostle...She's been keeping this realm in the dark for so many eons that you have no concept of light"

"You keep saying that but not even once have you even attempted to enlighten me and EXPLAIN YOURSELF!"

"There's no point...the plan is too far in motion..."

Silvana, the taller of the two, assumed a defensive stance, her feet shoulder-width apart and her fists raised. Zera, circled her predatorily, searching for an opening.

Without warning, Zera lunged forward, her leg snapping out in a powerful roundhouse kick. Silvana barely managed to block the blow, the impact reverberating through her forearm. She countered with a series of rapid jabs, forcing Zera back.

Zera and Silvana moved with lightning speed, clashing in a deadly dance across the dimly lit rooftop.

Zera, her long black hair whipping behind her, executed a series of precise strikes. Silvana met each attack with fluid grace, deflecting the blows and countering with a flurry of her own.

The sound of intense hand to hand combat rang out, punctuated by the occasional grunt of effort. Silvana's eyes narrowed as she analyzed Zera's movements, searching for an opening. Zera, in turn, kept up a relentless assault, pushing Silvana back step by step.

Silvana's experience clashed with Zera's raw power, creating a spectacle of awe-inspiring skill.

Silvana connected the first blow, her palm connecting with Zera's ribs. The young woman grunted in pain but refused to back down, retaliating with a spinning kick that Silvana barely managed to evade.

This was no mere sparring match Zera was keeping up with the Grand Priestess. Silvana was surprised at the display of Zeras movement, precision and especially the power behind each strike which suggested she was an experienced and well trained fighter. Her style of combat was unknown to Silvana yet it was similar enough to predict a decent portion of her movements.

Silvana saw her another chance when Zera overextended on a punch. She grabbed Zera's arm, twisted it behind her back, and forced her to the ground, pinning her there. Zera struggled, but Silvana's grip was unyielding.

"This is the part where you give up," Silvana said, her voice tinged with triumph.

The two women wrestled as they both slowly got back onto their feet.

With a sudden burst of strength, Zera broke free, sweeping Silvana's legs out from under her. Silvana hit the ground hard, the wind knocked out of her.

Zera pounced, straddling Silvanas's waist and raining down blows. Silvana blocked as many as she could.

The women locked in a fierce grapple, each straining to gain the upper hand. Silvana finally gained the advantage and managed to lock Zera into a choke hold.

"SURRENDER, THERE WON'T BE A SECOND CHANCE!"

Zera snapped her head backwards into Silvana's face, disorientating her for a brief moment.

Silvana's vision was blurry but she managed to notice Zera get back up and pull something out of her sleeve. The glint gave it away, Zera had equipped herself with a straight edged blade.
