School life?

When I got home I was received by a happy family and a smug extra.

-Congratulations Seiichi! X3

-... Thank you all, I couldn't do it without your support! I said, despite not knowing what was going on.

-So Seiichi, what school did you choose?

-We still need to wait for the results, tomorrow mom…

-HEY! If we are going to congratulate someone, we should include me in the party as well, after all, I defeated the instructor!

-Hey! Why do you have that look on your face?

-No no, you must be mistaken, I really think you did something incredible!

I lied.

-Anyway, I am going to take a shower. I am tired, see you all later.

I stopped in the middle of the stairs leading to the second floor and said:

Then I bolted knowing she was going to punch me if I stayed behind.

The day passed by quickly, and morning soon came.

Everyone was sitting by the table eating breakfast while watching the tv. On the news, there was this year's student body, showing all the new students while also showing some of the more outstanding students of the past year and their achievements.

-... Of course! How can we talk about this year's students without talking about the special cases! Starting with the IS representative from England Cecilia… The news continued until something unexpected happened.

-W-We just received some incredible news! According to the IS academy principal Juuzou Kutsuwagi, this year… This year we will have two male students! The only ones in the entire world! Not only that, they are both Japanese! Unfortunately, in order to protect them until they enter the academy grounds, their faces are going to be hidden for now.

The news then showed an image of a student and an IS on the ground.

That is me, huh. Well, that makes sense. In the original one, no one knew that Ichika had actually defeated an instructor until he said it.

-... WHAT.X2(Mom and Kona)

-Lucky bastards. X2(Me and Dad)

Mom and Kona then stared at the both of us

-Did you two said something?X2

-No we didn't. Isn't that right dad?

My father is by no means a passive husband like in those cliches, he just likes playing around and joking. Mom was the target for many of his pranks at home, and since he can't cook very well(more like he can't bother to do it), he has to respect her else she will make one of those horrible diet foods of her.

-Good.

After the shocking news that is currently shaking the world, Kona packed her things, and we went to take her to the train station.

Why the train station? The academy is built on an island, and the only way to get there is by train. Any other form of transport would most likely be shot down by the many warships and security measures around it.

-Bye auntie! Bye uncle! See you in the holidays!

-Bye sweetie.

-Have a nice trip.

-Hey!

She stopped in the middle of the passageway.

-Don't you have anything to say to me? I said with a smirk

She beamed a smile and … left without saying anything.

-Hey! Are you just going to leave? Don't you regret it later!

After she left my father started laughing.

-HAHAHA! She got you this time huh?

-Did she?

I then went to someone who was close by holding two large travel suitcases.

-Mr. Miyoshi, I presume.

-That's me alright. I said while picking a document and handing it over to the man.

-Everything is in order. Welcome to the IS academy, student! Said the man wearing the black tuxedo and dark glasses while doing a salute.

-Thank you for your help and have a nice day! I tried to play the nice guy, okay…

My parents were stunned and didn't seem to understand the situation when I just picked up my ID card and passed the trolley leading to the station.

As for how my bags suddenly got here? I simply received an email from the government explaining everything I needed to know immediately after I got home yesterday.

This email included things like the school book, the basics that needs to be read at least once before entering, and other things.

I then sent a reply asking if it was possible for them to send someone to help me with my bags. Here we are now.

This action was obviously noticed by other people around as they started to agglomerate around my parents.

Thankfully the soldiers were quick to lead the way and hopefully explain what's going on to them.

I went to the bathroom to change my clothes to the school uniform, and boy, I look handsome.

Downcast, I left the bathroom and went to pick up the last train to the school.

Most of the students are already at the school and I wasn't really "fast" in the bathroom. Thankfully no one entered the bathroom. Remember since there was never a male pilot before, all of the facilities are designed for women to use only.

{So technically, you are a pervert invading the woman's bathroom}

I then went and boarded the train alone. It takes less than 5 minutes for you to reach the school grounds. The only problem now was getting to the classroom without getting late.

I didn't really care though since it was the first day after all. I can create many excuses.

School starts at 7 but today it starts at 9, it was currently 8.55 and I just took my first step into the IS school.

I was going to take this slowly after all this was the place many men wanted to be.

There weren't any girls walking on the school grounds, probably in class waiting for the teachers.

Then a bell-like sound spread throughout the school.

9 am.

-Well, now I am officially late. Great.

Following the GPS I finally found myself on the first-year building when I heard screaming coming from one of the classrooms.

-ONEE-SAMA! Please abuse us more!!

???

Unfortunately, that was my class.

Right when I opened the door I heard this statement at full force.

Then, suddenly, there was silence.

There was a black-haired, strict-looking woman, extremely annoyed in the center of the class.

To her right, a green-haired, innocent-looking teacher was left agape

A certain blond-haired girl looked offended. What did I do to you?

A black-haired girl, with sharp eyes, was left stupefied

And a man looked at me as if he was a traveler that had just seen water after a week. Creepy. But understandable, try to imagine yourself in his situation. His life just suddenly changed when he became the "only man" capable of piloting IS(The news was only released later, around 8 AM, when most of the girls were in the school already). Most would be happy, but he had to survive the scanning looks of hundreds of girls at the same time.

As for the other students. They had mixed feelings, some looked as if they were on cloud nine, others looked surprised, some embarrassed, but all of the girls were curious about this sudden tall guy appearing on the school grounds. Wait, he is wearing the same outfit as Ichika. Could it be?! At least that is what I think they were imagining.

All of this happened in a few seconds. Thankfully I was smart and activated my special power, otherwise, I would be laughing right now, which would be rude.

I looked at the girls and boy in front of me and said:

-Sorry! Wrong room! Then I closed the door.

I could hear the sound of many girls falling on the floor.

Then I started to run away only to be grabbed on the back by a furious Chifuyu(Black haired woman).

-Where do you think you are going, cadet?!

-...To class?

-Good! You found it!

She proceeded to pull me into the classroom and say

-It might have been a bit late but this is the other male student. Introduce yourself.

I then looked around the class, noticing the gazes of three particular students: The blond girl, the serious-looking black-haired girl, and the protag Ichika Onimura.

Squinting my eyes. Which made the girls, including the serious one, flinch. I said, with a slightly loud tone:

-Hello everyone! My name is Miyoshi Seiichi!

Dramatic silence

-That's all!

-PFFFT! The entire class reacted.

Almost at the same time, I said that all of the girls seemed to fall on the floor or into their tables.

Ichika seemed relieved that the other man wasn't a "strange" dude.

Chifuyu-sensei seemed livid though.

She lifted her book and with incredible speeds, hit my chin. Or at least that was what she expected as I caught the book easily with my left hand without even looking in her direction.

Everyone in the class seemed to look at me in awe and Chifuyu seemed surprised herself, showing a rarely confused expression which was quickly hidden by her statement.

-I will pardon you of your 10 laps around school as long as you give me a proper reason why you are late and redo your presentation!

-I was late because I was lost.

-As for the rest I don't really know what to say. I lived most of my life with my parents on the outskirts of Tokyo. Nothing special at that. My hobbies consist of anything related to IS in general but I will always try something new. I particularly liked playing tennis with my younger sister back in the day. Although that was several years ago.

-Is this good sensei? Then I gave my most sincere smile.

-I guess it's good enough, go sit on Ichika's side. (Ichika sat at the front of the class)

-Sensei…

-What? Do you have anything to add?

-Yes, it's a problem actually.

-Tell me then, but don't waste my time.

-I am afraid that I am too tall and the girls behind me won't see the class board.

I was 1,87 while most of the girls were smaller than Chifuyu who was 1,66...

Once again all the girls seemed to fall on their desks or floor… really now, is there any need to be so overly dramatic?

-Sigh, you are right, but we can't do anything for now since all tables have been occupied. Tomorrow we will elect a class president, by then you can change seats with someone. But I don't want to see you late anymore or I am going to have you run around the island 20 times! Are we clear?

-Yes sir! I said seriously.

All the girls chuckled slightly with the exception of the two special girls and Chifuyu herself.
