The truth they buried

Moments after Aizen broke free from the cocoon that Ichibe forged to seal him in...

"Hmm... I thought I felt the reiatsu shift drastically within the seireitei... So even that was enough to hold you, Aizen?" Shunsui remarked, looking back at the escaped prisoner.

"Tell me Shunsui, all those years ago, what motivated you to stop me?" Aizen enquired.

"All threats to the seireitei must be dealt with accordingly." The captain commander coldly replied.

"Perhaps you should reconsider who the real threat is..." Aizen ominously retorted. "Tell me captain commander, do you know what lied in the middle of the royal palace before Yhwach replaced it?"

"The soul king." Shunsui responded.

"Wrong... the soul king is non-existent, and has been for a few million years." Aizen replied, stunning the head captain as he was left puzzled.

"What do you mean!?" Shunsui demanded.

"When I forged the hyogoku, my intentions were simply to use it as a power source to amplify myself with once I merged with it but I had underestimated the nature of the object entirely. Perhaps it was my own naivety for not factoring in that I relied on a part of the soul king to make it, but when I merged with it, the voice behind that part finally could be heard; the truth could finally be seen. The soul king was slaughtered mercilessly by Ichibe Hyōsube, Oetsu Nimaiya and the original five nobles, they betrayed him with seemingly no reason. However, due to his immortality, actually killing him was impossible so instead they separated the parts of his essence into a multitude and scattered them randomly among the soul society and other worlds. Isn't it weird how the parts of the soul king were found in different entities like Mimihagi, the nail I found within Rangiku and the parts that had aligned themselves with the quincy race as sternritters. This world is just littered with the death of the soul king, all around us we're surrounded by the sin they committed; the original sin. Soul society was built off the bones and blood of the soul king. I'm sure Kisuke Urahara was aware of this too, and thus tried to discard his hyogoku to maintain the great lie." Aizen explained.

Shunsui was silent in response, just hanging his head towards the floor beneath him. It seemed that although the head captain was surprised by this revelation, it wasn't something that farfetched as a capability for the royal guards and the original noble clan leaders; corruption was in abundance within the seireitei as he saw it.

"No words, no justification. Can you really trust the royal guards that you sought to develop a relationship with?" Aizen enquired, his voice distorting mildly.

"What exactly are you planning?" The head captain coldly responded, almost as though he knew the question wouldn't just resonate with Aizen but the entity that was rearing it's head now within.

"I'm going to gather the rest of the fragments and purge this world, fix the scattered world they created." Aizen stated. "You will watch here as I end the detestable race you care so dearly for as it's leader, helpless to stop me..." A voice that didn't fit's Aizen continued...
