Chapter 45: He's Going Gaga.

Our orders were served.I ordered noodles with lot of spices and water while Favour ordered noddles with little spices and apple juice.

" So, what happened while I was gone?", I asked curiously.

She narrated everything to me and what caught me by surprise was Richard.

"So you mean that Richard told everyone in our department he loves me and now everyone knows about it, gosh, that guy's going gaga, now I see why all eyes was on me this morning".

What more would that birdbrain do to disgrace me.

'Favour....You're smiling", I stared at her chewing some noodles.

"I mean, he's not bad though, you can give him a try", she teased.

"Excuse me!, of all men, it would now be him, oh no way, this same guy got my name removed from the top twenty stu....

"Enough now", Favour stuffed my mouth with Noddles. "That reminds me, I haven't checked my result yet", she said.

"Chill...not like it'll vanish from the board", I said while chewing the noodles.

"I also need to get the carbon copy, and you know it'll only be opened for an hour after the result have been posted", Mary said.

"Okay", I said.

"Don't think I've forgotten, you'll tell me everything that happened during your project, everything Lucina", Favour smiled.

We left the restaurant and went to the school board hall. My left palm is burning again, this always happens almost everytime ever since I touched that burning red crystal.

Now I get it, it wasn't an imagination.

"Favour, you told me your grandfather knows about rocks and crystal", I started and she nodded as a reply.

"Is he still alive?", I asked. Before I start blabbering, I should confirm that first.

"Yes", she replied. "What do you want from him....did you find something interesting during your project?", she asked.

"Sort of", I replied.

"Tell me about it", She said curiously.

"I'll have to tell you everything from the start, I can't just jump to somewhere you won't understand", I said and she shrugged.

" It's a long story, right?", she asked.

"Yes"

"Let's do it this way, since we'll be busy with lectures today then I I'll spend the night at your house", she said and I nodded.

"Why did you move to the hostel, I forgot to ask when you told me over the phone", I said worriedly.

"I told mom I want to live my life freely like others, I want to learn to start living without her since I'll be leaving soon", Favour said.

"Leaving to where?", I asked.

"That was the first question she asked 'Leaving to where?'", she frowned, " like I'll spend the rest of my life in this school....good news", she smiled brightly.

"What?", I asked curiously.

"Mom agreed I can get a cat", she smiled broadly.

"Seriously?... You'll be surprised if I tell you I also have a pet now", I smiled.

" Really, oh my God, our enemies have been brought down", She screamed jumping up. " I'm sure our pets will get along pretty well".

"I doubt that, I doubt you'll even like it", I said.

"Why?", she asked.

"It's a Tiger cub", I said and I got the reply I expected to follow.

"You are kidding me, right?, she asked and I shook my head as a reply.

" It's harmless though, I'm sure you'll fall in love with her once you lay your eyes on her", I smiled, "Come with your cat tonight, we're really going to have a fun night together", I rounded up our talk as we entered the board hall.

Rule number one, no noise, as in no communication, over two hundred students have been banned from this hall depriving them from checking it and worse still, you'll submit your phone before you enter.

We walked silently into the hall that looks crowded but since the hall is spacy, there's breathing space.

"Which board am I to check first", Favour said with furrowed brows, probably confused.

" Where do you think your name belongs?", I asked.

Rules are rules and students would forever remain students. We are rules breakers.

"Maybe Bronze or silver", she guessed and we walked towards the bronze board.

Each boards are in different part of the board hall which have a lot of distance between them.

We checked through the thorns of list that was on the board but her name wasn't there.

She gulped dryly, what if my name isn't on the silver board.

"Chill, you don't need to worry, let's go", I said comforting her.

If I had chosen the classes over the project then I'm sure I'll be on the silver board or luckily on the gold board.

We walked towards the room where the special silver board was placed, I could feel Favour's fear and I understand well. We finally got there after walking for some while.

"I'm restless", Favour said griping my hands tight.

I've been enduring that for quite some while now.

We checked through the list and luckily for her her name was number six.

"Ahhhhhh", she screamed loudly.

" Favour!, Well get banned", I scolded her but seems like she didn't care.

" Damn banned, I don't care if I get banned as long as I'm on the list of comfort then there's nothing else to worry about", She screamed.

" You'll get us into trouble", I said and dragged her away.

"Lucina", I heard someone call my name from behind.

I can recognize that voice, uhm!, Princess. I turned to face her.

" You called me", I said.

"Stay away from Richard, last warning", she said sounding serious.

I looked at my left side then my right, I turned back completely, facing front again I stood up on my toes to check behind her then I walked around her before I went back to my normal position.

" Who just talked now?", I asked Favour with a confused look on my face. " Flies aren't common here, infact I haven't seen one in here but seems like you are going to be my first", I said playfully with the intention of provoking her.

"Hey!, listen, I'm not here to joke, stay away from him, else..

" Cut the crab!, you should be telling him that not me!, do I look like someone that has interest in him, actually you two ship in with each other perfectly, jobless, dense and stupid!", I said calmly folding my hands on my chest.

"You bitch....Argh", she held her cheek tight, she wasn't able to complete her sentence before Favour gave her a bitch slap.

" Watch your mouth next time, thank your stars I'm in a good mood today, smooth cheeks ", Favour said.

" Guess we'll call it a day here, bye bye", I said annoyingly and waved a good bye to her with a mocking look on my face.

" Bastards", she hissed angrily and her friends came running to her.
