Why are you here?

"I can see that Mero, and truly I feel really bad that you do, but I assure you that everything will be alright." said Wura as she walked towards him and gave him a hug as he held her tighter.

"Thank you Wura, you do not know how much I needed to hear that." he said as he inhaled her scent and although Wura did not feel uncomfortable with that, she let go of him and took a step back.

"Mero, please do not do that, now is not the time that we should be doing this... We need to be careful, and honestly, I do not think that I am in the right state of mind right now to deal with this so please..." said Wura as Mero smiled.

"It is alright Wura, I understand, you do not need to worry. I know." said Mero as he smiled.

"Thank you Mero." she said.

"I will go and check on Nora now, please excuse me, and please take care of yourself, if people see you like this, it will not be good at all. Go and take a rest and get some sleep, you need it." said Wura as Mero smiled at her.

"Why are you just standing there smiling at me? I am very serious Mero." said Wura as Mero laughed and Wura was annoyed not understanding what was so funny.

"What is so funny?" asked Wura as she frowned.

"Nothing, it is just I am wondering, is that a suggestion or an order?" asked Mero as he laughed.

"Oh, you really want to test me? Well it is an order from your Queen, so go take a rest." she said as she was annoyed and walked away leaving him alone in her tent to laugh.

Mero continued laughing as he shook his head, Wura could be really adorable sometimes, and she knew just what to say to make him feel better, he definitely felt no regrets forcing himself to come over here to see her.

Nora yawned as her eyes opened and she blinked twice. She rubbed her eyes and sat upright as she looked around her room. 

The smell of what she had thrown up almost an hour ago was gone, and all the traces that she had ever vomited were gone.

Nora groaned feeling really weak at the moment, she was hungry and still tired even though she had slept for over an hour.

"Oh, you are awake, how do you feel?" asked Zuph as he walked into her room and smiled.

"I feel fine..." she replied.

"Are you sure?" asked Zuph as he smiled and she nodded.

"How do you feel now?" he asked once again.

"I feel fine, really." she said.

"Well then, that is good, I will not ask you again." said Zuph as he smiled.

"Why are you here... again?" asked Nora as she was a little bit confused, she knew that he said he would be here to look after her, but she kind of felt a little bit embarrassed that he was seeing her at her worst, so unkept and looking really terrible.

"Well, I came here to check on you, and also I brought you your lunch." he said as he raised the basket in his hand.

"I see..." said Nora.

"Yes, since you vomited everything you ate in the morning, I asked that the cook prepare you a nice stew that you will be able to stomach down." said Zuph.

"Thank... thank you Zuph, but you did not have to do that for me... I could have just eaten anything." she said feeling really nervous and embarrassed that he had specifically asked the cook to prepare something special for her.

Who was she to make such demands specifically for her?

"Oh but I did, we do not want you vomiting every single thing you eat, now let me serve you because I am sure that you are hungry." said Zuph as he placed the basket on the table as Nora wanted to refute but decided not to.

"Nora." called Wura from outside as both Nora and Zuph turned to look at each other surprised by the voice they had heard.

"Nora." called Wura again as she did not hear a reply so she presumed that Nora was probably sleeping causing her to walk into Nora's tent herself.

"Nora, you are awake!" said Wura as she saw Nora who was staring at her as she smiled.

"I am sorry for coming in without your permission, I just thought that maybe you were asleep..." said Wura as she smiled but the smile on her face faltered when she turned her head only to see Zuph standing in the corner.

"It is no problem my queen, I apologize for not answering to your calls." said Nora as she hurriedly got out of bed.

"It is fine Nora... Zuph... what a surprise to see you here..." said Wura as her eyes were fixed on Zuph filled with many questions and confusion.

"Good day my Queen." he said as he gave a little bow.

"Good day Zuph..." she replied.

"Nora, how are you feeling today?" asked Wura as she turned her attention to Nora and smiled.

"I feel really well my Queen, thank you for coming to see me." said Nora as she smiled.

"No, you do not need to thank me Nora, I should even be apologizing, I should have come here yesterday to see you, but I just did not want to make you worry or feel like I would not be able to take care of myself." said Wura as she smiled and Nora smiled.

"I am so glad that you are feeling better, you have even stopped crying, that is a good sign, I hope that you are taking everything easy?" asked Wura as she hugged Nora and Nora smiled.

"Thank you my Queen, I am glad as well." said Nora as she smiled.

"So have you eaten yet?" asked Wura as she broke their hug.

"No my queen, but I was going to eat before you walked in." said Nora.

"Oh that is nice, so I think that we should leave you to eat while I have a word or two with Zuph, right Zuph?" asked Wura as she glanced at Zuph who nodded.

"Yes my queen." he replied.

"Alright, so please enjoy your meal and we will be back in a moment alright." said Wura as she smiled and Nora nodded as she walked out of the tent and Zuph followed after her.

Nora on the other hand was starting to feel nervous and worried, she did not know why she felt like she had landed Zuph in trouble for Wura finding him here.

Wura walked further away from Nora's tent to a more secluded place as Zuph followed behind her.

"Zuph, I just have one question for you... what are you doing here?" asked asked him as soon as she turned around, she was suspicious and worried and most of all confused as to why Zuph was in Nora's tent and why Nora seemed very comfortable with it.

"I came here to check on Nora my queen. I was worried when I did not see her around as usual yesterday, so I asked around and found out that she was given leave, which left me even more worried, so I came here to look for her and I found her a mess, a crying mess." said Zuph as he found it hard to make his face remain expressionless.

Wura could clearly see the worry and concern in his eyes and it made her feel relieved, she could tell that he really worried about Nora and he cared about her the same way she did.

"I see... thank you for worrying about her Zuph, it means a lot to me." said Wura.

"You do not have to thank me my queen, Nora is my friend as well, and I care a lot about her." said Zuph.

"I can really see that... but still thank you... you are doing what I myself am unable to do." she said as she sighed.

"So how is she... really?" asked Wura.

"She is fine... but she has not been sleeping well, and eating well as well, she vomited everything she ate after breakfast, so I brought her some warm stew." said Zuph as Wura nodded.

"Alright... please tell me if she refuses to eat, we cannot let her starve herself." said Wura in worry.

"I agree with you my queen." said Zuph as he nodded.

"So... so... did she tell you the reason she was so heartbroken?" asked Wura softly as Zuph nodded.

"She told me that Mero ended their relationship because he fell in love with another woman." said Zuph as his fists clenched.

"I see... is that all she said?" asked Wura.

"No... she asked if I or the others had any idea about this woman and I told her no, I knew nothing, I am sure that none of us did." said Zuph as Wura looked down.

"I agree..." she said with a sigh.

"I always knew that Mero was a secretive and private person, but this is just entirely something that none of us expected." said Zuph with a frustrated sigh and a shake of his head.
