7 I Am Strong

"Look everyone! I'm not that weak old guy before! I can now handle this sword like I always wanted to. I'm overflowing with power... HAHAHA!" Avan continued swinging his sword, "Is this what the ecstasy in the pain meant..? If so, everything in my life is worth it."

"Avan, that's enough." Atez appeared in front of him.

"Atez..! You're back! Look what my hard work earned me. An unbeatable strength... now, Carpei won't be ridiculed anymore because of me..."

"Avan, can you hear me in there?"

"...Huh? I'm here Atez."

"Seems like this is your desires running rampant. I don't know what made you to change this much, but I bet that's the thing that's preventing you from unleashing this abundance of mana. If you can hear me there Atez, you need to stop this."

"What? Hey, hey, hey! I spent over ten years cultivating myself to get stronger. And you're telling me that I need to throw it all away..? You have to be joking! I did this all for my mother... because I was born without mana in a world filled with mana! I was a mistake... an error in the system! But here I overcame that weakness and error and became something much bigger. Now everyone will respect me and my mother. So you telling me to throw it all away... is UTTER GARBAGE!" Avan grasped the tip of the hilt of his sword and threw it straight at Atez.

Atez couldn't react in time and the automatic defensive capabilities of his suit began to take effect. "You destroyed it... in one hit..? But you've let yourself defenseless. Abyssal Binding!" Dark chains emerged from the ground and wrapped around Avan. "Thunder Hammer!" Thunder began to form in the sky and thousands of lightning strikes began to unleash on Avan.

"Can't believe that I have to duel with you Atez. Alright." Avan with pure strength, broke through Atez's bindings. "Through the creation of the world, born with mana, it shall also end with mana. I Avan Neidleest, shall declare a duel against Atez... Well, I forgot your last name so this should be fine."

"Hmm..?" Atez realized what Avan was doing as he took a stance. "I see. I Atez Re-... no, not yet. But I, accept this duel." Atez took a stance, "Cloning." And several copies of himself began to appear. "Magic Amplification, Magic Duplication, Astral Binding!" Stars began to form and appear as a circle of constellation around Avan. It then began to shrunk, crushing his body. "Overtune Magic, The Scorching Flames... RAY OF CHAOS!"

As if reality has been broken by itself, a small slice in the air was seen. Two hands then came out then slowly opened up the crack, revealing a gigantic eye behind it.

Its eyes turned red and a small laser came out, and slowly grew and grew until its size was bigger than the size of Avan.

"I don't feel it... the pain before..! This spell should've defeated me like every other spell there is, but right now, I'm overflowing with power!" Avan then called out a black sword out of nowhere and it appeared on his hand. He swung it upwards. There was no magic involve, but just pure strength.

"...No freaking... way..." Atez felt happiness and fear in his words.

The eye that was in the air that seemed to crack reality in itself... was split in half.

And one Archmage was in the vicinity of where it happened so Avan killed an Archmage and two other grand mages.

He then noticed the mages above him surrounding him. "What's... happening?" Avan asked.

The headmaster of the academy began to activate the spell they were all chanting, "Calamity Sealer!"

Walls of barrier began to drop from the sky and Avan tried to escape. But the barrier around him prevented him from doing so. It was a barrier formed by several grand mages, four Archmages and one Sage.

"Let me out!" Avan began to strike the barriers to try and break it but to no avail. "I need to show this to the people who bullied me... to the people who ridiculed my mother... this power is enough so that I could live with my mother like any normal parent there is..! LET ME OUT!"

Atez and the other mages gathered in front of him. The headmaster began to speak, "Avan, are you there."

"LET ME OUT!"

"...He's not responding... he's like a wild beast swinging his sword in there."

"Avan..." A single utter of his name and suddenly, Avan stopped as he realized who it was. "Is that you... Avan? My child?" Carpei was weak and was drained off of mana from Avan's attack earlier.
