10 Happy Birthday

Avan suddenly woke up. "Huh..?" He knew that he died yet as he looked around, he was still around and could move around. Yet he noticed something different. His body has shrunk. He sat up and looked at his hands, it looked like that of a baby. "HUH..!?"

A maid then came up to Avan and brought him up to her arms and began to cradle. "Milady is still sleeping. Please sleep too, Avan."

"She's..." Avan immediately covered his mouth and began to think to himself. "She's the maid the left the household years ago because of her parents forcing her to leave because of me. Her name was... Vivian?"

"Ah, seems like you're not going to sleep. I'll just go to the grocery real quick to buy some food." Vivian then placed Avan in the basket and put on the blanket that was in front of him. She then left the house with the purse that was on the table.

"Wait, what am I thinking right now!?" Avan stood up but his weak body immediately tossed him right back down. "What has happened to me..."

"Can you hear me?" A mysterious voice then appeared out of nowhere. It was a male's voice but it was something that Avan felt that was very familiar yet he couldn't put it.

"Huh..? Who are you?"

"Hmm... I don't know if you can hear me, but right now I can't hear you. But I think I can communicate with you."

"What does that mean..?"

"I can't talk for much longer because its illegal for me to trespass here. But Avan, I'm sorry for putting you for this much trouble. I thought this would be for the best, but I didn't think that I would hurt you and everyone that was around you. This is my final gift to you Avan."

"...Gift? Who are you!"

"I'm sorry, that I'm such a failure. But I hope that you can live a life that's not like mine. Be happy, be content and be adventurous. Make your mother happy for me will you? Happy Birthday Son."

[Avan ======= Welcome ========]

Boxes appeared in front of him. Avan reached out to touch it but his hands seems to just pass through the boxes. "F... father?"

The voice suddenly began to slowly fade out, "I'm sorry that I can only communicate to you this way. If you hate me that's fine, but never hate your mother. I love you both. Please live a normal life from now on. Goodbye."

"Father..? Father!" Avan called out hundreds of times yet the voice didn't come back. "I thought I've lost everything. But you just came back out of nowhere to restart my life all over again... What are you doing? Trying to be a decent father for once..?" Avan began to shed tears, "But father... its going to be the same as before... I still don't have mana. I still can't activate spells... So what... what should I do?"

Avan then felt a sudden pulse from his body. His heart began to race and his arms began to ache. It was as if something was slowly digging into his body, etching itself.

Avan screamed in pain but no one heard him. His body felt itchy and he began to scratch all over it. But after the process, the pain and the itch suddenly stopped.

A message appeared in front of him.

[There lies a gem inside of the the artifact which is known for being the engine and the power of a god, also known as its heart. It's filled with mana that cannot be deciphered or be known by anyone as it transcends the world of ======.

"Heart... of a God?" Avan looked at his body and there was a giant wound on his chest that looked like the image that was attached on the description on the message that he was seeing. But it all quickly disappeared after he saw it.

Another message appeared in front of him.
