NINE
Shaina look at the empty hall and emptiness fill her heart, she might have been too rash in her attempt to beat her own sister that she didn't think of the consequences her action and decision might cause her life
She is going all out in getting married to the man she hasn't known for more than twenty four hour and now she's having her dream wedding crush too, this is not the kind of life she had hope to live but maybe this one would be better
Mr. Fisher signal to them to both sign the consent papers that ascertain that they are married to each other
"Why this and not a marriage certificate?" she asked, she's not about to become a hidden wife instead
"We can't get a marriage certificate now but I promise to bring it later"
"What's she asking for?" Samael asked facing Fisher
"The evidence that I'm your legal wife, is this some scam?"
"No, not at all"
"Then I want a real proof that I'm married to him or is there a main wife while am just the plaything? The mistress?"
Mr. Fisher look confusedly at Samael who doesn't seems to understand the two humans in front of him, he had wanted to marry her in his own way but Ian has refused and said to do it the human way instead
For him to obtain a legal marriage certificate they have to be a registered citizen of the country but Samael isn't human and so has no identity that could be use, he is still trying to get him a new identity and that will take some time but he isn't sure how to explain this to the Miss
Samael took her hands seeing his friend will not be able to give her what she wants and decide to do so himself, he close his eyes briefly and Shaina lose her subconscious looking like a stiff doll
He took his appearance and clouds hover around them in an instant, strong wind begin to blow that Ian quickly held unto a table to stop himself from flying off, he didn't stop at this but raise his two hands up like he is calling some forces and soon, some invisible entity appear amidst the cloud
A long knife like sword appear in his hands and he cut her index finger with it causing some blood out, the blood did not fall unto the ground but rather flow into the air, right into the cloud and it changes color almost immediately
Samael also cut his finger with it and stretch it out to the cloud to take it just like hers, soon the wind become more aggressive like it was having a fight but later calm down and return to its color
"It will be a seal of my commitment to this human" he said to the clouds and they soon disappear after his words.

Vivianne look back in sudden shock as a sensation pass through her, she change to the eyes of vision and went into a trance to have a clear vision of what cause the sign she felt just now
Opening her eyes in seconds, she gasp loudly feeling astound as what she just see, Vada look to her master turned pale face
"What just happened?" she asked also felt the sensation
"I need to visit Samael" she said and Vada turn into a large bird immediately taking her back to the human world
When they are about to descend, the bird turned invisible making it impossible for anyone to see it or its carrier, they sneak into the house where Samael is along with the human female
Vivianne got down from her ride and Vada turned back to her human self, they both had a look around to be sure of his presence before going to him

Samael took her into his arms when she wouldn't wake up after the seal and ask Ian to take care of the rest while he teleports her back to the mansion to have a rest, she must have been too tired that she couldn't bare it
He got to the room she is supposed to live in and place her gently on the bed but then her pouted lips caught his gaze and he stare for few seconds until she murmurs out
"Dylan!" she called out like she was longing for the person and Samael figured out it's a male
"Woman, how dare you mention another man in my arms?"
Shaina who isn't conscious of her actions, in a bid to be more comfortable clinch more to him and try to have a hug which he didn't resist as she tug at his cloth
He watch the careless human in front of him and gave a quick smile until he was interrupted by the non-human presences
Samael put her down properly and went over to check who is it that dare to come inside his abode but before he could check it out, Vivianne came into view appearing in the air
"You" he said not surprise to see it's her, Vida quickly bow briefly to him and move a little away from them
"Samael, I…just came to check on you" she said and swallow hard
"Is there any urgency that I need to take care of?" he asked and went over to take his seat
Vivianne also take her seat two chairs away from him and force a smile out, trying hard not to lose out her anger
"We are just passing by and lady Vivianne thought it will be disrespectful not to visit" Vida quickly come up with an excuse sensing her master's uneasiness
Samael nodded slightly and silent fell across the room, after what seems like a long while, Vivianne decide to ask the questions bothering her
"Who is she?" she asked gently knowing she can't get angry or raise her voice
"She's just someone I need for a period of time, there is no need for you to know her" he answered
"Why did you make a sacred blood covenant with her then?" she asked and could feel her anger rising from the inside
Samael throw a hard gaze at her and immediately she retreated and smile sadly getting up to leave since any more wait could make her burst out in anger
"I will be leaving now" she said and bow a little before disappearing back into the air
Rather than go back to the cold forest, she took a stop at a mountain in the human world and descend down to earth taking a new human form
"Master!" Vida called in shock at what she just did
"We are going to stay in the human world and observe this woman, she can't be ordinary" she said boiling up
"Great Samael is always cold but shouldn't he have try to explain things to you? How could he just make a marriage covenant with another woman?" Vida complained angrily and Vivianne pulled her by the feather down to earth
"Ouch" she let out a yell
Ignoring her agony, Vivianne hurrily cast a spell and turn her into a human then she cast another spell to seal off her demonic powers and seal off half of hers
"That will make it hard for us to be find out" she said and sigh in relieve
Vivianne watch Vida fascinates over her new and strange look while she grins from mouth to mouth
"Is this how human looks?" she asked turning to her master but met with a stern eyes
"I am sorry, so what are you planning to do now?"
"Samael is a cold demon but I'm sure there is something he's hiding about the human woman and that I need to find out"
"But we can't stay here for long, cold forest will be…"
"I know" she snapped and Vida apologize again
"We won't be staying for too long, besides Samael will find out if we exceed the time"

It has been more than forty-eight hours since Shaina went missing and things was getting tensed up in the Dothads' home, they had hope she will be back soon and waited patiently but this is unusual and she doesn't have a sufficient balance on her credit card so she can't possibly avoid to stay out this late
There isn't any explanation Dothad could think of except that his daughter has been kidnapped by some bad people probably some enemies of his who held grudges against him and decide to take it on his daughter
Soon cops came over to the house at his request and he files a complaint something he has been rejected on because it hasn't been a long time she went missing but now that it has been a long time he could file a missing person's complaint
The cops asked series of question from all three members of the family and leave soon after they were done promising to find her as soon as possible
"I hope this isn't a trick of hers to gain attention, she hasn't been in the spotlight for a long time now and maybe want some attention" Mrs. Dothad commented watching her restless and panicked husband
"Can you be reasonable for once?" he yelled angrily at her face
"Our daughter might be out there, in danger" he said and walk away angrily from the two women
Mrs. Dothad sneer at his disappearing back into the room but her action got paused by Selena
"Do you think Shaina is in real danger? You should have…"
"I am sure she's fine, and besides, isn't that what we want?" she asked and stare closely at her daughter whose eyes seems to be wavering
"Of course that's what I want" she said stammering nervously
"you couldn't do a good job pouring the stuff over her face the last time, this time we might be lucky that we are getting helped without getting involved" she said and smile at the last sentence.
