Being Sent to the Shadow Realm and Forced to Experience the Multiverse

Playing Yu-Gi-Oh is a fun time, but when the loser is erased from existence and sent to the Shadow Realm, or at least a place that fulfils the same objective, things can get pretty wild, especially when multiverse travel is involved. ‐--------------------------------------------------------------------------- You know the drill, this is my first novel, english is not my first language, feel free to correct any mistakes I may have done, and make sure to leave suggestions. Suddenly Isekai.

[School Live, an anime; do you remember it?]

The words don't change no matter how much I look; is this thing seriously asking that?

"...This question came way out of the left field, why did you ask?" I sigh, this is not good for my sanity.

[The question was made in order to preserve your mental stability.]

"...Then, was that a random question just so I stopped thinking about me disappearing and being an alien thingy?" How weird! If that's true, I really shouldn't use this system for mental care.

[Incorrect.] But he denies it, so there is another reason, but what?

'Am I wrong? But what does an anime about zombies have anything to do with-'

...

"Hey, you said everything about me was erased, but why can I remember this?" Something I remember, even if it's random, at least not all is gone.

[While your existence is gone from your home universe, your existence that exists in this realm is not; even though you think memories of something like a show are actually yours, that's not quite right; it's more like the knowledge that show was something that exists and the rest of your existence in this place interacts in a way that sends to you information about it because your connection to the home universe was not completely severed, which is why knowledge of anything from your world can be retrieved. However, these are not your memories.]

'Something about this is not making sense.'

"This means I didn't remember any memories but retrieved that show because it existed in my original world? Then can I get any information from there?"

[While possible, it would be in a cluster of information, which will be unreadable; the more information known, the better its quality will be.]

"Then, how did I get information about that anime? You said I didn't get my memories back, so how did I receive them? Since there's no information about it, wouldn't that be a cluster?"

[The realm of 'School Live' is currently connected to this realm of nothingness. You will be sent to the world of 'School Live' in 1 minute.] A metaphorical bomb is dropped on me.

"Wait, WHAT? WHY!?"

[Due to the power of a wish, you are forced to experience the multiverse. In order to have a better chance of success, it's recommended you activate your duel disk.]

"Duel disk? I don't hav-", Before finishing my sentence, a weird feeling crawls on my arm. Looking over, I see a duel disk materializing; even if it was weird, I also had to admit it was pretty cool. Inspecting it, I also found a deck already there.

"...There's a lot I want to say, but I'll wait... Then what now? Do I get 5 cards?" If it's like the actual game, the starting hand is 5 or even technically 6.

[You only have one free draw. *There are 15 seconds left*.]

'Only one?' I have questions, but the clock is ticking. My only guess is that this will help me while I'm in that world. I want to get more answers, but...

[10 seconds left.]

"No time to think; c'mon, it's my turn! I DRAW!" Psyching myself up, I scream.

'That was kinda overdramati- Never mind, what did I get?' Feeling somewhat embarrassed, I look over the card in my hand, a card I recognize.

[5 seconds.] 'Tch, no time.'

"Just appear for me; I summon you, Aromage Jasmine!!" [4 seconds.]

... [3 seconds.]

... I look at the card on my duel disk and think, 'It's there, so it should have worked, but...' [2 seconds.]

Looking all around me, nothing changed; this means... [1 second.]

"It didn't work?" [Starting transfer.]

Before I could even react, my body started to become pure light, and the last thing I saw was the system's message to me.

[Please experience as much as you can in your adventure.]

"You gotta be kidding me."

And in the next moment, I was gone.

Do people even read these?

Or do I need to put it at the end of the chapter?
