(7 YEARS LATER)
P.O.V Leonard
I gazed up at the tall tree and then back at the graves under its shade. It had been a long time since I last visited their graves, and since it was Lionel's death anniversary today, Cathia wanted to come.
I was looking at the headstone of dad's grave when Cathia laced her fingers with mine, bringing me out of the many things I was saying to dad.
I looked at her. Her burgundy hair was now, even more, darker in shade, and her eyes greener. As if she noticed my gaze at her, she looked up at me.
"You okay?" I asked, looking at her tired facial expression. Dad and Rose wanted to get buried beside Stephen, but we didn't get space for them close to him in that cemetery. So, eventually, we had to mark their graves a bit away from Stephen's, but the two were still together. And the three were still in the same cemetery.
