Chapter 32: Civil War or Dark Fight

P.O.V Darren

Leo's body slowly limped, worrying all the good particles inside of me. I hurried towards him, grabbing him unknowingly from his injured hand. Lionel helped me, and for the first time, I didn't see tears in Eve's eyes. She was scared for Leo, but at least she was being brave.

As soon as I pulled Leo up and we decided to take him to the car, for now, to seek any kind of medical help we could get, Leo shuddered.

We all stopped moving. He shuddered again, and slowly I saw the veins in his neck getting prominent. They were turning from a bluish-green color to a dark black one. And he shot open his eyes. His iris, darker than the darkest nights I had ever seen in my whole life...

P.O.V Leonard

I woke up, sitting at the bank of a wild forest river. I remembered two rivers on the way here, but we were not supposed to cross any of them. And then I realized. I was alone.
