Who is the Mysterious Expert?
Yun Wanqing is the City Lord of the Wind Cloud City. He is a Cultivator who has cultivated to the 4th Stage of the Nature Realm.
His city is only a small city within the Yuan Empire. His family is not that strong when compared to the truly bigshots of this continent. Still he is one of the few Nature Realm experts who lives in this Green Holy Region.
It is well-known that to breakthrough to the Nature Realm, one must accept a lightning from the heavens. Only two things will happen if they failed in this. It's either they become a cripple or they were reduced to ashes.
This is where a cultivator is actually considered as a cultivator. Despite people thinking that people from the Human Realm are already Gods, they are just ants compared to those who reaches the Earth Realm. The Earth Realm can only be considered the domain of the youths when it comes to cultivation.
Getting to the Nature Realm is the starting line for every cultivators as it is the stage where they will receive a Heavenly Tribulation. It is why only few manages to survive cultivating on this part, and many stayed on the peak stages of the Earth Realm in fear of dying from a lightning.

Having more capable personnel in their family is a great thing. It indicates just how strong their family is.
Yun Wanqing is sure that the others are already planning how they will recruit the expert when they got there. They are sure that the expert is still weak after this tribulation. Anyone who first experiences it will be greatly weakened even if they succeeded.

It only took them a few minutes before they got there. Their eyes are roaming around the place, and gawking in surprise when they didn't find someone.
"Where are they!? Where is that expert!?" He asked with a bit of impatience.
This is impossible. The mysterious cultivator receives two tribulations. They should be weakened now and incapable of moving for awhile. They can't possibly sneak away in that state.
"No way, they truly managed to get away!?" He heard Zhu Wanren saying in frustration.
They can't help but become disappointed. It shows that whoever it is managed to succeed. If they failed, they should have left at least a piece of their hair or their clothing when they died. Not seeing anything at all means that the mysterious cultivator took it all and left the place in a sneaky manner.
'They truly is an expert!' He can't help but admire and at the same time become frustrated at the mysterious cultivator.
They managed to sneak away despite receiving two lightning tribulations. Even if it's the weakest one, it is still a lightning that came from the Heavens. Even 9th Stage Earth Realm cultivators will be reduced to ashes if hit by that.
