Becoming Orihime Inoue

The hogyoku has a will of its own. By sensing the desires in people, it can manifest them into reality. One such desire even spanning across universes. Follow Orihime Inoue as she tries to ride along the plot, getting stronger without changing the timeline too much (Emphasis on trying). Discord: discord.gg/mgY7NtQf5P *This is a fan fiction of Bleach, all characters and settings belong to Tite Kubo *I don't own the image, if the artist wants me to take it down I will. *This is my first fan fiction and I am a huge fan of the series. I am trying to stay as close to the canon as possible in terms of personality and powers. If you believe a character is acting unlike themselves, its either my deduction from Thousand Year Blood War arc, or its on purpose.

The Quincy Heir

Jugram sat by himself in a pristine room with a single chair and a door. He had long since recovered from death due to Yhwach sacrificing several weak Sternritter in order to revive him. Although physically, he recovered, he still remembers the feeling of being eaten alive by an invisible force. He often feels phantom pains in his chest and has a difficult time keeping his composure. In order to vent his frustrations, he went after the Sternritter that were powerless. However, they resisted and fled to Hueco Mundo.

"I would have gone after you myself if it weren't for this pain…!"

After a sharp inhale, he was able to calm down his rapidly beating heart. He ordered Quilge to take the army and hunt down the traitors. Yhwach hadn't called upon him since the incident. When Yhwach slept, Jugram no longer received The Almighty. Additionally, his ability to bestow was gone. He was no longer seen as important.

"Sir, you are being requested for an audience with His Majesty."

The random soldier told him from outside the room and he fixed his uniform and immediately made his way to Yhwach's throne room. This was the first time in over a month that Yhwach had asked to see him. However, he didn't have any hope. This was likely related to the recent manhunt on the traitors. Jugram arrived and saw Yhwach sitting on his throne nonchalantly. When he noticed Jugram enter, he stayed silent and let the tension build up.

"So, you ordered our army to chase after the traitors into Hueco Mundo?"

"Yes, Your Majesty."

"Completely disregarding my order to stay hidden until I was strong enough to face the old man?"

"… Yes, Your Majesty."

"It would have been fine if everyone was killed and there were no witnesses. However, all of our soldiers and even Quilge died. What do you have to say for yourself!"

"I…"

"Insubordinate! Failure! You are no longer my second-in-command. No matter though, I have already sensed my heir in the World of the Living. Their power hasn't matured yet, so keep an eye on them. The heir is a descendent of the purebloods that escaped the blood war. I sense great potential within them."

"Where is the heir located, Your Majesty?"

"Karakura Town."

"What have you learned about the disappearances of Unohana and Shinji?"

"We don't have anything definitive, but captain Kurotsuchi has apparently discovered something strange within the Seireitei. During her time, ex-Captain Inoue submitted a potential new forbidden kido which creates a secondary space within the shadow of a spiritual entity. He was able to extrapolate and discovered traces of a secondary space within the shadows of the Seireitei. He hasn't been able to crack it yet, but this could explain the disappearances."

"It seems we are in dire straits. Such an enemy would be difficult to deal with. Are there any results on the search for the Quincy remnants?"

"We have sent various search parties all over Soul Society and nothing was found. The Soul Reapers stationed in the World of the Living haven't detected any abnormalities. We suspect they may be hiding somewhere in Hueco Mundo."

"Focus on the problem in the Seireitei first. All these things may very well be connected. My intuition tells me something big is coming. Call everyone back except for those on Hollow suppression duties."

"Yes, Captain-Commander."

Chojiro left in a flash to carry out his duties and Yamamoto simply sighed. His heart was in turmoil. He retrieved his favorite tea set and began to perform tea ceremony for himself. Over the last thousand years, this was his main source of comfort. The centuries of war the previous regime went through left his heart and mind filled with darkness. There was so much blood and murder.

After the fighting ended, he founded the academy and began his path to cleansing his bloodied soul. As he sipped the tea, a calming sensation flowed over his whole body. The time to kill was coming once more. Yamamoto knew he could not escape his fate. The karma he had accumulated from his younger self would always eventually catch up to him.

"I'll finally join you, my fallen brothers."

"What do you mean he's gone?"

Yoruichi leaned against the wall of the dilapidated shop and rolled her eyes. The one questioning her was naturally Urahara. She simply frowned and repeated herself.

"After suppressing his Quincy powers, I was focused on recovering from the battle. Once I returned to where I left him, he was gone. I looked all over the cavern and spread my sense as far as it could go, and there is no trace of him."

"We've suppressed those powers and trained his Soul Reaper powers back to almost the same as his state before fighting Aizen, why did he disappear now of all times?"

"Do you think the powers broke out as a final attempt and caused him to go mad? Oh no, we have to check on his family. There's no telling what he will do, and Isshin can't face him alone without preparation."

The two of them immediately made their way toward the Kurosaki residence, but there was no sign of Ichigo having been here at all. Isshin happened to be walking outside at that moment and noticed the two of them. He walked over with a serious look on his face.

"What happened to Ichigo? I can't sense him anywhere."

"He may have left on his own. He doesn't have the control to open any gates so he is definitely still in this realm, but there is the possibility he got kidnapped too."

"He better be fine…"

Yuzu stood outside of her school in a daze. During lunch, she sensed her brother nearby and went to see him. Ichigo was standing there brooding with a sad look. When ran over to him to hug him, he didn't react much. After a few moments, he knelt down and gave her a sad smile. He told her that he would be going away for a while and that she needs to take care of dad and Karin.

Yuzu was a lot more perceptive to the various things happening around her brother than she led on. Mostly she kept quiet and was a central pillar of normalcy for her brother, dad and sister. However, she could sense a power uncontrollably growing within her brother over the last month. This power was full of grudges and negativity.

After being in the presence of such overwhelming Reiatsu, Yuzu began to notice that inside her body was a small current of warm energy that seemed to be growing steadily. She had already begun to sense things beyond her normal perception and even start seeing patrolling Soul Reapers and the occasional Hollow. One day, she saw Sado and Uryuu talking at the park and unintentionally spread her perception and eavesdropped.

From their conversation, she learned that Uryuu was something called a 'Quincy' and that her brother was struggling because of that same power. In a fit of anger, he blurted out something about if his father had trained Ichigo instead, he wouldn't have turned out like this. Yuzu realized something intuitively and went to the Karakura Hospital. The people here were used to seeing her since she was the daughter of one of their external doctors, Dr. Kurosaki.

"Can I see Uncle Ryuken?"

"Of course, Yuzu, let me take you up to his office."

This wasn't the first time she sat in his office while waiting for her dad to finish helping in the emergency room, so the secretary didn't think anything of it. After a while, Ryuken arrived in his office and saw the young Yuzu waiting for him. He silently walked over to his desk and looked through some papers and input some data into his computer.

"Yuzu, your father isn't here today, why have you come?"

"Uncle Ryuken… p-please teach me!"

Ryuken assumed she wanted to learn about being a doctor until he saw the bright blue geometric lines appear all around Yuzu, forming a barrier of spirit particles. The range was weak and the duration was short, but this was comparable to Yhwach's blut field, which passively protected all allies in the radius while also suppressing enemies. Ryuken walked over and knelt down in front of her.

"Give me a sample of your blood."

Yuzu was confused but since he didn't seem to reject her request, she let him take her to a nearby room to draw some blood. Ryuken had a penchant for research which was almost to the level of Kurotsuchi without being obsessive and manic. He had spent several days on an autopsy of his dead wife to eventually find the cause of death, a clot made of pure silver.

When Ryuken ran some of his private tests on Yuzu's blood, he came to a startling conclusion. The strange phenomenon that Ryuken just discovered was that Yuzu was giving all of the readings of a pureblood Quincy. He walked back to the room Yuzu was in and gave her a serious look.

"I will train you. However, you cannot tell anyone. If your father asks, you are shadowing me to learn about being a doctor. Come to the hospital every day after school, on the elevator next to my office, slide this keycard and press the basement button twice."

Wo-ho-ho didn't expect that. As soon as we look away from Orihime, we discover all these things happening behind the scenes!
