The Primus soldiers near the jet stood at attention once the new faces approached them. Tess convinced herself the soldiers were waiting for them. That meant Nova-one and his two pals really were to ride a jet as compensation for their time.
The Chewletes handed the three Priman soldiers each a belt teleporter.
"Hey, these are heavier than I thought," James said as he lifted his several times like a dumbbell.
The door to the jet slid down and automatic stairs unfolded to reach the ground.
"This is so cool," Zack said with the smile that never left his face after he had rushed after James.
James, who was ahead of the line they formed to get inside the jet, took one step inside and all the lights flickered on.
"Why don't we get one of those belts?" Tess asked.
She didn't like the feeling those soldiers were going to ditch them with those teleporter belts.
