"Tsk, some date this is going to be." Lanse didn't move his hands from over his bangs. The wind was messing up the hair he washed minutes ago. "Anyways, don't you come out here every day? I should ask Sensei to teleport us somewhere in District one-twenty. All the best date spots are there."
Tess bent forward so the low branches didn't get tangled in her hair. "Don't waste your breath. That snake won't send us somewhere just to have fun, there'd have to be some twist." She reached her cozy spot on the roots. Once she sat down, she placed the chips beside her and patted the skirt over her thighs. "Here, you can lay on my lap."
Lanse didn't comment. In a second, he was laying on the ground with his head resting on her lap. The wind was a good thing since he couldn't lay in her lap with damp hair. He kept his eyes on Tess who opened a chip bag and then tucked the hairs blowing in her face behind her ear.
