"What's that?" Zino asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.
Lanse's gaze shifted towards the girl, who sat perched on the chair with a timid posture. With a plain expression, he stared at her for a moment before a puff of air escaped his mouth in disbelief. He leaned forward, his eyes glinting with determination.
"They agreed to cover me while I executed the death-ball maneuver," Lanse explained. "The plan was simple yet daring. I had to get close to the Sybervirian and throw the death-ball into its gaping maw, which would cause it to explosion from within."
Zino's brows furrowed further, her confusion growing evident. She leaned in, eager for further clarification.
Lanse continued, "Death-balls are a product of scientific genius. The scientists studied the mana of the Sybervirus and developed these orbs that unleash an explosive reaction upon contact with a specific substance found in the Sybervirian's gut."
