Chap 213: Too close for comfort
Tess breathed hard as she looked at her holo-map. Her teammates were too far away but their signal confirmed she had to be back in the void. She must have gotten spat out of the endless tunnel nightmare through another vortex. But why did it happen? Why did Reve let her go…?
She squeezed harder on the oversized ring fragment in her grip. She looked back at the massive red glow to one side of the blue void. Not too long ago she was suffocating from the absence of air. Then she started breathing and opened her eyes to her hand over Sid's face. Her hand had flashed blue light and damaged Sid's face. She shivered remembering the pitch black behind the grey strands of his hair.
Hope filled her up realizing she sparked a Metasyne ability, glowing hands. If only she could see the expression on the jerk's face from what she was about to tell her teammates. She activated communication and spoke to her telecom.
