" Could you repeat what you just said?" I asked the bear/mouse/dog-shaped principal standing before me.
" Ah yes Midoriya, as I have discussed with your mother, I would like for you to become an apprentice under my wing, live here in UA so that your training could be much easier, and last but not least, have your enrollment in UA trough a special exam."
The world around me disappeared, my mind played those moments, the hate, the pain, the fear, all the emotions that held me back from doing anything, from ever fighting back, from ever trying to protect myself, I was too scared, too afraid, too weak to do anything, but now I had done it, I had proven myself, and not just to a random person, but to the UA principal, it felt... liberating to finally be seen for something else aside from weak, or frail, or...useless.
Unknown to me my eyes began watering, a single tear coursing through my face and falling to the ground, the one present inside the room visibly cringed because of it, my mother taking my hand and putting a hand on my shoulder.
Closing my eyes, I thought back to the 9 months of pain I had been through, about how I finally proved to the world that Izuku Midoriya isn't Deku.
I opened my eyes, wiped away the tears, and looked back at Nezu with the biggest smile of my life.

" Perfect, then one week from now I will have a room prepared for you here, I will personally speak with Miss Midoriya if she wishes to have a space for her as well on your school grounds, space is the last thing we miss here," Nezu said a big smile on his face.
Nodding I looked around at the two other people present in the room, one looked like a hobo, and the other was already known as Toshinori Yagi, with who Observe still didn't work on, the hobo instead.

That caught everyone by surprise, Nezu though, smiled even more.

" I saw pictures of you online, you always wear black, you have the same scar, your eyes seem strained even though you bat your eyes at a natural rate, and your body seems to severely lack sleep explainable from your constant night patrols, also, your goggles are popping out of your socket."

" Could I get a signature here, and here, and here, oh can I make you report some questions I have been having for a long time? Does his quirk give him strength? What is his speed derived from? And his durability? Why are the reports of his fight with Toxic Chainsaw so incomplete? As he ever gotten injured? That would explain his absence for those years that followed, and-"
"Izuku."
A child ran down my spine as my mother called my name, with her angry tone if I might add, so with the same speed I had appeared in front of Yagi, I reappeared in my seat.
"Sorry."
" There is no need to be, I am sure Yagi will have all of those gadgets signed by tomorrow, am I right?"
"... Right." He said while looking at the small mountain in front of him.
" Thank you, once again, sorry about the rant, but the only reason I am here is because of him."
" Why would say that?" This time it wasn't Nezu to spoke, the question came from Yagi.
"... When I discovered I was quirkless my life had been ruined, I had always wanted to be a hero, and being directly told that I could never be one destroyed me, when I got home I played one of his videos, they always made me happy, the one I loved the most was the one where you saved people from a burning house, having a dozen of people on your back, but you still smiled, you still breamed with hope and perseverance, and that made me believe, believe that no matter how hard the situation may look, you just need to smile and push trough, because anyone can be a hero, even someone like me."
Yagi stayed silent, looking at one of the action figures I had given me, he looked... sad?
" Now that this is all settled, I will be happy to see you in a week Midorya and Miss Midoriya."
After another small discussion about possible accommodations we were escorted out of the room, a smile ever present in my and my mother's faces.
" We are having tonkatsu tonight, pork."
I might start crying now, the breaking floor type of crying.
