Oswald The Spider

Without my cane, I felt harmless. Seeing his inky tentacle swing at me again. I pull out my gun and fire. The bullets fly into the tentacle, its jelly-like structure stopping them from passing through.

"Damn, why are cultists so obsessed with tentacles and squids?" Jumping away, over a container, I see Oswald in his yellow robe, aiming my gun at him. Pulling the trigger, I see Oswald's other arm turn into tens of small inky tentacles.

"Take a shower!" Forming an ice spear, I threw it at him not expecting anything, but to my surprise, it pierced his tentacle. He screamed in pain, and from beneath his dress more abominations followed.

Bats and all kinds of abominations rose to the sky. Sliding down, the container, I feel the ship lean over. The ship is on its side turning the entire chase into a platformer. Jumping from container to container, I see Theresa Shoot lighting like crazy.

"Theresa! Help!" Seeing the huge amount of bats behind me, she fires a lightning bolt in my direction. Dropping to the ground, the lighting channels through each bat causing them to be fried like fries.

Standing up, the smell of burned meat fills my nose. "Uh... The smell." Telling me to stop being pussy, Theresa covers her arms in lighting and proceeds to punch every single flying thing out of the air.

Seeing more of the creatures fly towards me, I anchor myself. Pulling the river water, I slam it against the ship's deck and trap all the creatures in it. Starting to drip water like a loose tap. I turn the water into a closed ball of water. Raising it off the deck, I yell at Theresa.

"Fry it!" Seeing the large ball of water filled with countless creatures, Theresa looks in shock for a second before I yell again. "I said, fry it!" Snapping out of it, Theresa fires off powerful lighting into the water ball. Within seconds the Abominations stop moving and go limp.

Releasing the bind on the water, it falls down like a waterfall back into the river.

Going limp as well, I fall to my knees only for Theresa to yell. "Raven! You used your body as a medium!" Nodding, my skin is loose and all soggy. "How else would I achieve something like this?" Grabbing me underneath the shoulder, she carries me for a second only to get thrown forward.

Rolling on the ground, I see the inky tentacles. "Oswald!"

Pulling it back, he asked. "Why are you here Raven? Is this about Edward? I heard we shot the wrong guy, no biggie, you can wait for Edward in the underground." Sending his tentacles at me, I take a step

Common just a bit longer, that bastard is right in front of me. When his head is no longer attached to his body, Edward will live!

Screaming like crazy, I charge him. Creating two ice spears, I jump over the first tentacle and stab it into the ground. Crouching against the second one, I pierce it into the container wall.

Forming another spear, this time smaller than the first, I run at Oswald, and stab it into his stomach. Breaking the spear into pieces, I grab two smaller ones and push them over his shoulder.

Breathing heavily, I look Oswald in the eyes. I expected him to scream, I expected him to squirm in pain, but he just stood in front of me, unmoving.

I take a step back, only for Oswald to shake. "Curse you! Curse you!" his jaw starts to stretch and rip apart, his body grows and his legs break into six others.

"GHA!" Stepping apart his body now can be seen in full glory, Half man-Half spider.

"You bastards..... I'll.... I'll.... Dammit!" As his body looks to grow in size.

Meanwhile in the apartment. "Any news about Raven?! Where did he run off to!?" Amber yells. Alice walks across the room, pondering the possibilities. While Gabriel and the Nun, watch over Edward.

"What's his condition?" Alice asks. Shaking his head, Gabriel tells her that as long as the crystal is stuck in his body nothing can be done. Suddenly feeling her phone vibrate, AMber sees the news.

"Guys, look at this!" Showing everyone the scene in the middle of the river, where a large cargo ship is sinking, they see a black and white smudge running at someone in yellow.

"Raven!" Celebrating that they know where he is, everyone starts to discuss what should they do, until a large bang from the door shutting resounds across the apartment.

Turning around, they see the nun with the giant crystal in her hand, but Edward is nowhere to be seen. "What happened?" Everyone asks as they look at the nun for answers.

Shrugging her shoulders, she tells them, he pulled it out himself, so she healed him and then he ran. "You didn't think of stopping him!? He had a crystal pierce most of his inner organs!"

Waving Amber's worries off, the nun ensures Amber. If anyone could have fixed Edwad it was her.

Raven stands before the gaping mouth of the now Oswald the Spider. "R-R-Raven, you made me lose control, I-I-I'll punish you in the name of The Lantern!" Ripping off his 2 frontal legs, he turns them into dark blades.

Jumping away, I barely hold my ground, my body's heavy and tired. I can barely move! Rolling away, I place my hand on the metal container. The metal screeches and stretches, until the side of the container is so crumbled and disfigured like it was blasted with radiation.

Snapping off the pole of metal that I made, I pointed it at Oswald.

"You want me? Then come and get me!" Screeching like a bug, he runs at me in full force. Anchoring my feet in place, I brace the polearm in front of me. Taking a deep breath, I stab at the spider abomination.

*Cink * Using his sword, he easily pushes my polearm out of the way.

Tensing all my muscles,, I see a red hair in the corner of my eye, pushing me to the side. "Theresa!" Bleeding from her head, with a strong smile. She stops Oswald blades with her lighting gauntlets. Her white clothes now tinted red, hide all her injuries.

"Funny aren't you?" Kicking him away, Theresa starts to jump in one place. Putting the gauntlets in front of her face, she challenges Oswald to come at her.

As his Spider mouth clicks, he point his swords forward and charges. Swingingat Theresa, she jumps to the side, giving him a shocking left hook. Twisting his head, he stumbles a bit, but Theresa pushes on.

Jumping from leg to leg, she yells. "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!" Continuing her onslaught of punches, she flies around the confused Oswald, screaming.

But all her speed comes at a cost. Theresas' injuries are nothing to scoff at, cocktail of blood and sweat drips form her. Her clothes are soaked in the mixture and not before long, she starts to slow down.

Now stumbling from leg to leg, Oswadl mocks her. "What? No longer the greatest?" Spitting in his face, she yells. "I swore an Oath, to serve and protect as any cop before me did. So how can I fall when a friend is in danger?"

Looking at me, Thereas gives me a weak smile.

Calling her a hypocrite, Oswald stabs his sword through her stomach and swings her off into the river below. "Theresa!" Watching her fall into the river and sink. I see Oswald on his sx legs slowly walk to me.

Lifting me, he asks me what I plan to do now that my friend is dead. "I've barely known her for a week, but she was good friend." Smilling, Oswald opens his mouth as if he's trying to bite my head of.

The moment it's over my head, my hands spring up, and grab his head. Giving him a good headbut, a lot of my blood sprays onto his face, Ignoring my struggles, I small white shine can be seen on my smilling teeth.

Freezing his the blood on his face, he let's me go in pain, and try to get away, but it's too late. Slumping over, I try to move my body to no avail.

"Paralazisis, what a beautiful thing." Green liquid drips from his fangs.

When did he bite me?! Trying to turn on my back. I see Oswald come ever closer. "So sad, so close yet so far, but it's a pity. Edward is free from the crystal, but with you not there who will help him treat the wounds?"

He tries to mock me but my mind is filed with a thought.

Wait if Edward is free of the crystal does that mean....
