"That brazen tone of yours..." Jai began warningly.
"You do not come to my place and speak to me in that manner, Zevon. Not if you wish to leave in one piece." Jai made clear.
Zevon scoffed beneath his breath at Jai's blatant threat. Though Zevon did know that Jai was more than capable of going through with it, he simply could not bring himself to care at the moment.
"I need Kahlel...Chan is in a bad state." Zevon said insistently.
Jai's brows furrowed slightly at that, and he frowned.
"Bad state how? She was fine just a moment ago." Jai pointed out.
"Kahlel has retired for the night. I will send him over at dawn." Jai added with a shake of his head.
Zevon could not believe Jai was simply so adamant because Kahlel was asleep and he did not wish to wake him up.
"And if there is no longer a need for him by then? Will you take responsibility?" Zevon asked, his eyes narrowed in displeasure.
