Blake just returned to the castle and his eyes narrowed. There was a lingering smell of blood all over the entrance. 

His heart stopped for a second when he sensed his mate's scent mixed with it. 

"Lilly?" His legs moved faster than his mind and he quickly started to search for his mate. 

Blake's breathing became ragged when he didn't see her inside her room. 

"She is sleeping in my room" a deep baritone voice interrupted Blake. 

He turned around and started to throw questions at Killian, "What happened? Why is there a blood stench at the entrance? Did something happend to Lilly?" 

"At least take a breath snake" Killian taunted, "I have already healed her injury and she is fine now" 

As soon as those words left his mouth, Blake moved toward him and held his black robe's collar, "How did she get injured!? I swear Killian if you did...."
