Kyrell observed the figure before him with a calm face. He decided against showing his inner turmoil in front of people that didn't matter. His true thoughts and feelings were reserved for his beloved. The one that was sleeping serenely on his bed, in his room.

"The Lady.....Her majesty" The witch master treating Lyra had a hard time figuring out the proper way of addressing her. The sleeping lady didn't seem to have their King's mating mark, and although not that keen as a bird beastman, the witch master could smell that she had no intimate contact with Kyrell recently. Unlike Lady Alice, Queen Lyra lacked any evidence of becoming the Eagle Queen. That was why he grew even more confused. Why was their king looking so tenderly at a female other than his mate? No matter how much Kyrell tried to hide, the witch master could still see that the former was visibly shaken as he gazed at the one on the bed.
