Bickering

As Darcio put the 'sapphire of wish' on Lyra's neck, dazzling blue light covered the entire space leaving everyone surprised.

Slowly Lyra's painful whimpers eased as the blue light completely disappeared. Blake sighed a relief seeing her peaceful sleeping face. He turned towards Darcio and expressed his heartfelt gratefulness "Thank you...Thank you so much"

Darcio shook his head and said, "It has nothing to do with me, your majesty" then his eyes glanced at Lyra's neck where the gem was laid "The gem protected its master. I was only an aide in suggesting it"

"We wouldn't know what do to if you weren't here," Lucas said as he kneeled beside the stone bed taking Lyra's hand in his palm.

Demir strode towards Darcio and patted his shoulder "You did great Darcio. Thank you for helping my sunshine"

Darcio widened his eyes hearing his master's first-ever praise in his long life. "Mas-master? Did you just praise me?" he asked in bewilderment.
