Chapter Thirteen: The Feelings
Dinner was awkward as Dad kept his anger to himself. Mother tried to cheer him up, but he still didn't like the idea that a member of a Crane was fond of him.
After dinner, Mom and Dad heatedly argued about my safety and love life.
Gideon stood aside, listening, and Uncle Stan was in the middle, trying to calm the situation. It's rare for my parents to argue like this, but in the end, because of their love for each other and the bond is strong, they will eventually have their make-up sex. I would have to cover my ears with plugs and headphones to lose the noise.
Quite disturbing and embarrassing.
