Betting (Part 1)

"Bark!"

Sparky nodded it vigorously.

Showing off their strength was, of course, an exciting thing.

"Nonsense."

Riley awkwardly tried to stop Sparky from nodding its head.

Seeing Jay Parimoo's odd look, Riley paused and then changed his tone, saying seriously, "I had no idea about this!"

Jay Parimoo: "…"

"Are there any restrictions?" Riley asked, "Like if we win a match, can others still challenge us?"

Jay Parimoo nodded, looking dejected, "There are no such restrictions. The group chat said that if you win, the school nurse will immediately restore your spirit beast's condition, and then you wait for the next challenge."

"The school will decide whether you can stay on the team based on your performance and the number of wins."

"That's amazing! So, as long as we don't lose, we can keep fighting, and most importantly, our scores will keep going up…" Riley was ecstatic inside, but he didn't show it on his face.
