"Sigh... Why is life so unfair to me." Inside a Forest layed a kid 13 years old next to a tree.
This kid as black hair, a normal constitution for a boy of his age, a cute face that seemed to be carved from jade, blue eyes that seemed as deep as the ocean and as vast as the sky.
This boy name was Xiao Lin, Xiao Lin is an orphan that lives in the orphanage due to his parents who died in the Great War of two nations. Xiao Lin lives in Emerald Nation this was one of the 8 biggest nations on the south continent there are 4 more continents in this world called Priomordius World those continents are the North continent the West Continent the East Continent and the Central Continent in total there are 5 Continents.
Xiao Lin knew all this because there were some orphans who came from those continents.
Emerald Nation used to be in war with the Asphalt Nation it was this war that took more than 200 years to finish that killed his parents.
Now that he lived in the orphanage he lived a bit of a carefree life but he knew he wouldn't be able to do so forever. In the orphanage children could be adopted by some family's and have another family life or if they had potential in becoming a martial arts master then the orphanage would wait till they were 13 to check the children on the nation's shrine to see what were they're potencial.
Potential was measured with an artifact posseced by the shrines and every nation had one. It could measure from level 0 to level 10 and this number would determine if that person had the potential to became a martial artist or not.
And unfortunately Xiao Ling had the worst possible outcome which was level 0 which was a disappointing outcome for what Xiao Ling and everyone else thought.
Now after all was done and the children returned to the orphanage those with the worst outcome below level 2 had 3 options they could apply to try and get adopted, they could stay till they were 18 and then live they're life's on they're own or they could directly leave the orphanage.
Most people would choose the first or second option but Xiao Lin didn't choose this 2 and choose the later after some thinking. The first option was good but although he had a pretty face he had nothing else so even if he got a family he would be looked down on, the second option he could have chosen but it would be a waste of time and what Xiao Lin wanted was to cultivate and although he couldn't right now he believed that he would be able to if he put the effort.
And so after thinking about it all he decided to leave.
Before leaving the orphanage decided to give 20 copper coins and one little knife to protect himself.
After leaving Xiao Lin decided to go to his parents grave before leaving Emerald Nation.
When he arrived at the front of their grave Xiao Lin kowtowed 3 times and said:
"Mother, Father your child as let you down this time. But trust me I will become strong enough to protect me and protect those whom I care for, I will be leaving Emerald Nation and explore the world to become strong."
After that Xiao Lin kowtowed 3 times again and then turned around and left.
And so we end up where we started inside the forest.
" Where should I go next? In this continent there are 8 nations which are the Emerald Nation, the Asphalt Nation, Akame Nation, Heavenly Sky Nation, Hellfire Nation, Waterfall Nation, IceStorm Nation and YinYan Nation. Hmm I should forget it even if I wanted with my potential and my current realm no sect would want me... Sigh I probably should just stay in the outside and explore this forest maybe I might find some village on the way. ".
