Day of the Date

(Y/N)'s POV

Kuoh City Plaza

The day had finally arrived. My date with Yuma. To be completely honest, I'm really nervous. I've never really been on a date before. But from what understand, I just gotta do things that the other person will want to do, or something we both enjoy. But I want her to be happy and enjoy herself, so I think the safest thing to do will be doing things she'll want to do.

Currently, I was waiting at the big clock fountain in the middle of the city, simply waiting and looking at the clear blue sky. The sun was shining brightly, making this day almost perfect for being outside.

I wore a black, high-collared jacket with a zipper. Over this, was another jacket, this one unzipped and white, with several black block designs and a grey hem on the end of each sleeve. This jacket's collar was red and pleated and folded back.

I also wore two-colored pants; the legs of my pants were beige with several of what looked like buttons on the hem that appeared to attach the legs to the rest of the cloth, which were dark-colored. My shoes were colored in shades of grey and black, and had red straps in place of laces. Finally, I wore a wrist band with a black-and-white checkerboard pattern on my left wrist, as well as a plain black ring on my left index finger and a plain white ring on my left middle finger. Issei once told me that that the checkers on this outfit were meant to symbolize light and darkness. I never knew why this outfit made me feel good, I just saw it a long time ago in a clothing store and got it, like it was calling out to me.

I eventually looked at the big clock and noticed it was 12:15, I had arrived at 11:50. It's always smart to be ahead of time for any event.

"She sure is late, hope everything's okay." I say out loud.

Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. Curious, I looked behind me and saw a girl, in a rather strange costume. She handed me a piece of paper and I accepted it.

"Thanks." I said.

She smiled and walked away.

When she did I looked at the flyer with a confused expression. It had some weird symbol on the front, with a strange-looking message as well.

"Your wish will be granted huh? Gonna have to look into that later." I say as I tuck the flyer into my pants pocket.

"Hey (Y/N)!" I hear a sweet voice call out, catching my attention.

I turn and see Yuma running towards me at a pretty fast pace. She eventually jumped into my arms, causing me to catch her as we both spin around. I let her down and hold her as she hugs me tightly, making me feel her chest on mine.

'Things are escalating a little to fast for my liking!' I shout to myself.

"I'm so happy to see you. Sorry, I'm late." She says.

"Nah it's cool, I haven't really been in his part of town before so I've just been looking around a bit." I reassure her. I take notice of her outfit, and I gotta say, she looks really cute. Her attire consisted of a short black dress with a small, light purple jacket on top, with a white skirt, black socks, and brown shoes.

Yuma takes notice of my looking and gets an embarrassed look of her face.

"D-Do I look weird?" She asks shyly.

"W-What?! N-No not at all!" I let go of her as I jump at her words. "On the contrary in fact. You look really cute." I say with a smile.

"Really? That's good. So should we go?" She asks as she holds out her hand.

"Uh...yeah." I say as she takes my hand in hers and we begin walking away from our meeting place.

3rd person POV

Both (Y/N) and Yuma walk quite a distance before reaching the entertainment district of the city.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Yuma asked as she points to a nearby movie theatre.

"Yeah sure." (Y/N) replied.

They eventually reached at the ticket stand outside and bought two tickets. Being the gentlemen (Y/N) is, he paid. Once they got their tickets, they made their way inside and looked at the movies available.

"So, anything here tickle your fancy?" (Y/N) asks.

Yuma gasps and lets go of his hand and points frantically at 'Resident Evil: Afterlife'.

"This one!"

'Seriously?!' (Y/N) shouts inside himself.

"Um...you sure? Those movies are kinda scary from what I've heard."

"Yeah! I love these movies, they're even better than the games!" She declared happily.

"You're a gamer girl?" (Y/N) asked in disbelief.

"Lol, I totes am. CoD is my favorite game. XD!"

(Y/N) was speechless, dumbfounded, shocked to his core. This girl is not the timid girl who asked him out two days ago. 'O-kay then. Was not expecting that.' He thought to himself. "If you want to, then let's go for it." He agreed with a smile.

So before they went to the movie, they got some snacks and headed inside the stadium. They found some seats in the very back, and waited for the movie to start.

Time Skip

Halfway through the movie, Yuma was shaking in fear and tension. The movie was in the middle of a fight scene between Alice, the main protagonist of the Resident Evil movies, fighting some really big sack-sack wearing zombie with a cleaver hammer. The movie was in 3D, so when the giant man threw his hammer, Yuma jumped and held onto (Y/N) tightly.

"Yuma, it's okay. It's just a movie, no need to be scared." He spoke in a calming tone.

"I-I know...I just wasn't expecting that." She said as she rested her head on (Y/N)'s chest for the rest of the movie.

Time Skip

The movie eventually ended and everyone exited the auditorium. The young couple rested in the lobby for a moment while one of them tried catching their breath from screaming so much.

She quickly chugged down half an entire bottle of water. "Ah! That's much better. Sorry for screaming so much, I didn't know this movie was gonna be that scary." Yuma bows apologetically.

"It's okay, I'm not upset if that's what you're worried about. Though I can't really say the same for the other people in the theatre." (Y/N) mumbled as he looked behind him to see a bunch of people glaring at the two, causing a sweat mark to form on his head.

"Anyways, I'm okay now. So let's get going 'kay?"

"Sure, let's go."

Time Skip

The two were on their way once more. They had traveled to many shops, stores, and small markets around the area. They even went to a small jewelry store, and something caught the two's attention. A black wing necklace with a silver chain. She looked at it with complete infatuation so he bought it for her.

(Y/N)'s POV

We arrived at a restaurant getting a quick bite to eat. I was just sipping on my drink while Yuma was enjoying her parfait. I looked at her and she looked like she was enjoying herself, which caused me to smile.

"Are you okay?" Yuma asked sweetly.

"Yeah, I'm just glad you look like you're having fun. Despite me not even knowing what to do." I said as I look down, still feeling rather uneasy.

"Oh (Y/N)-" She then placed her hand onto mine, causing me to lightly blush. "It doesn't matter if we don't know how to do these things, as long as I'm with you it's more than enough for me."

Her words touched my heart. No one has ever said that to me before. For the first time in forever, I was...happy. Maybe this whole dating thing won't be so bad after all.

"Thank you Yuma, that means a lot to hear you say that." I said with a weak smile, feeling a little better.

"Oh (Y/N), you're so sweet." She leans over and pulls out a handkerchief and wipes my eyes, as they had been leaking tears. Not of sadness however, but of joy.

Time Skip

The rest of our date involved us simply walking around the city. It was getting late however as it could clearly show in the sky above. The Sun was setting, just like the time Yuma and I first met.

At the moment, we were just walking through a fountain park. The area was completely silent, the only sound that could be heard was both of our footsteps.

'Gotta say, today was a pretty good day.' I thought to myself. I suddenly felt my hand being gripped by another. I looked to my right and saw Yuma looking down to the ground, blushing and smiling. I look down and see that my hand and hers were intertwined.

As soon as we reached the fountain in the middle of the park, Yuma let go of my hand and ran to the fountain. She then turned around and faced me, and scooted ever closer to me slowly.

"Can I ask you something?" She asked with a cheerful smile.

"Uh sure, what's up?" I replied.

"In honor of our date, there's something I'd like you to do. To commemorate this special moment." Now, she's right in front of me.

"Am I the only one who just noticed a huge tone shift here?" Starvlador asked, sounding a little worried.

'Oh boy, this can't be good.' I thought nervously. "Sure, if it's anything I can do I'll do it." I spoke with a happy smile on my face.

"Would you DIE for me?" She said as she looked up at me with her sharp, purple eyes. Her voice suddenly changed from cheery and bubbly to deep and cold.

'What? This has got to be a joke.' I thought, nearly frightened to my core. "W-What?"

She leaned closer to my ear and whispered that horrible question again.

"I said would you die for me." She backed away quickly and the wind kicked up rather harshly as it caused me to cover my face.

"W-What the hell?"

Suddenly, a bright purple light flowed throughout the whole park, I suddenly see Yuma's clothes rip off her body as she changes into something more revealing. In the process of transforming, she grew taller, taking on a more mature appearance, and her eyes changed, taking on a darker, more evil look.  Her clothing had changed dramatically, now consisting of black, strap-like objects around and under her breasts, a thong-like piece held around her hips by three thin straps, gloves that run right up her arms with small lengths of chains hanging from them, shoulder guard-like objects on her shoulders with three large spikes sprouting from her right shoulder, and black thigh-high heel boots.

'What the-Wings? What is this?' I thought as I tried to brace myself.

"Oh, how I wish we could've lasted longer love. But unfortunately, I have orders to kill you. Still..." She spoke as she looked at the necklace I had bought for her with a small smile. "I really do appreciate the necklace, it's very beautiful. Now..." She suddenly summoned a crooked, ruby-colored spear-like weapon. "Time to die!" She yelled as she threw her spear at me.

"Wait Yuma! What are you doing? What's going on he-" I was cut off when her spear grew closer and closer to me in mere seconds. By that time, my instincts kicked in and everything finally made sense. I raised my hand and swiped the incoming spear away, sending it into a nearby tree, exploding upon impact.

"What?!" Yuma cried in rage.

"Well...this certainly has taken an interesting turn." I spoke as I slowly rose up from the ground.

"W-What the hell?!" Yuma took notice of what was in my hand. A big bright, yellowish-white light.

I swiped the light away and revealed what it really was, a sword. The sword's shaft displays two hearts, and its handle bears two angel wings. The teeth of the blade were fashioned in the shape of the Kanji for "light" (光). Its keychain token was a star sewn together from pink glass shards. "I'm not sure what's going on right now, but it looks like you want a fight Yuma...so then." I then point my sword at her. "Think your spears can crush my Oath Maker? Let's find out. Now...let's finish our date. Shall we?" I gave a cocky smile and prepared to fight, what I believed was my girlfriend. I should've known better. Ah well, this is just another mistake I have to correct.
