Demon Prince

Luke requested that everyone assemble in the village center, and once they did, he began to play the song. It was slow-paced and low-pitched, mimicking a piece from the funeral procession. Luke watched the audience's reactions as he was playing and thought, "Looks like my guess was wrong," but then he noticed a small girl in the corner whose face was constantly shifting, trying not to break the mournful look. Luke sped up the music, hoping for the 'Amplify' skill at such critical moments, but the silence in the atmosphere did the trick. The girl, unable to continue, placed her palms over her ear and declared, "Stop! Stop this shit right now human or else I will…"

Luke not letting her complete her monologue threw the tuning fork in full force at her, piercing her face and killing her instantly. As soon as the girl died all the villagers fell on the ground, fainting. Luke went to the body of the little girl which was now melting in some black goo-like liquid and soon a smoke started rising off her body which transformed into a figure of a demon.

"You mere human, I will kill you and rip you to shreds. How DARE you try to interrupt in the plan of this, Great demon prince Arizel" said Arizel.

Luke ignored all the cliché lines made by the demon while cursing at him. He was kicking away the goo hoping for some loot because he had previously missed his opportunity to obtain treasure from the Orc's body and was now praying to obtain some treasure from the demon-possessed little girl's body. His foot struck something hard after kicking the ooze that gathered over a body resembling a chemical plant dump. He mentally yelled "JACKPOT!"

Luke bent down and quickly removed the liquid, revealing a red lava-colored stone the size of a football with black colored stripes all over it that shone brighter than the darkest night, the stone was emitting some heat not potent enough to cause any harm but still kind of warm, he picked up the stone and thought to himself, "What kind of loot is this, at least give me something of value."

When the demon saw Luke pick up the stone, he panicked and said, "How did 'that' get there? Drop it right now, human; it's a treasure that neither you nor your kind can manage."

When Luke heard this, he grinned and said, "Ho! Now, because you, a Demon Prince, think this object is a treasure, it should be rather valuable, therefore I'll keep it for now, see you later, Prince of Filth."

After witnessing the stone being taken away, Arizel cast a curse upon Luke, using the original body's life essence as the source.

Soon Notifications started popping up on Luke's screen

You have been affected by a curse

Royal Demon's Curse.

Details: You will be a primary target of all demons. Demons can identify you whenever you are near them with the help of this curse.

Even after receiving this notification, Luke did not even turn to look back; he would not stop even if the demon god were to appear and condemn him rather than the Demon Prince. He had previously seen death, so what good could a simple curse do to him? After all, he knew a few tricks to break this sort of spell.

"I will find you, Huma.." disappeared Arizel while shouting.

Luke, unconcerned at the yapping of some vanishing smoke, departed the settlement after finishing the tutorial.

After leaving the settlement, Luke vanished and was now standing over a crystal-clear lake with a white translucent sky background and a panel in front of him stating

"Human," Luke answered. Ultimately, this was the race most suited to his class, and he was more familiar with humans than compared to other races that changed the shape of the body. Such as a half-elf was more attractive and agile than a human, but their constitution was weaker; a half-dwarf was smaller than a human but much stronger; a half-gnome was shorter than a human but smarter than a human; and lastly, a half-beastkin had their instincts and constitution above the human but with lower intellect.

Luke was given a plethora of alternatives for his look, ranging from hair color, eyes, brows, and face structure to physical alterations such as an increase in height or width by a few inches.

Luke altered the color of his hair to green with a royal blue tint, the color of the iris of his eyes to light blue, which matched the shade of his hair, and chose "Continue."

He was again presented with a warning

With no hesitation, Luke said, "Yes." Suddenly, everything went black, and a cutscene began playing in front of him.
